Me also same as you, going back to work in Aug. But hor, difference is me dying to get back to work! Then i dont need to look after bb in the day. Just got to work faster and harder during my working hours so that I can fit in the pumping sessions and go home on the dot to my little darling..

I know 2years and above is 1 jab....
So most likely to give after 1 year so only 2 jabs...but then again bcos his sister is in nursery, maybe should let him take it soon... =)

ur gal 7 days nvr poo? Mine nvr poo for almost 5 days then my hb got worried n ask me to bring bb to see PD. Luckily just before making that decision, my boy pooed. So if really haven pooed, then maybe see PD

I cant quite remember. We went to our GP for the jabs. $394 for one 6-in-1 jab, one Pneumococcal jab and one dose rotavirus plus consultation of $14. Cant remember the breakdown, think only remember that the rotavirus cost me $95.

Do you trust chinese medicine. Recently I told you my boy got the cough from her sis and my gal also have running nose when she taking the powder, her nose stop after I gave her the 1st dose, guess nose is connect to throat so get cure together. I give both of them the Hou Ning powder from Yu Ren Sheng and they recover after 2-3days. But the powder is kind of ex lah. You can try out.
 
jasmine, heh thank you! I gave my boy too! Doesn't seem to help ley! Sigh! My #2, I didn't give lo, Haha don't dare give her when she still so small Haha. But my boy, Ai, still coughing! Somemore the Phlegm so thick.

You have to give 2 boxes in a roll as a course. But dosage follow instruction to give. I gave my gal 3 boxes. As she is slowly getting better, so we give her another box to make her fully recover.
 
pneumoccocal jab - eh... i think after 7 mths then is 3 jabs.. before is 4 jabs.. anyway, ive started Kirsten already... she had hers one week after her 6-in-1. heh heh heh. i a bit more kiasu la.. becos im back to work le... (yes cindy.. today started.... =( but luckily only half day la.... hurhur) then dun wan to risk passing germs frm my patients to my baby.. so better jus let her get the jab ba... =)

i do believe too that babies r very vunerable to such things... they can "See" such things de... im nt scaring you... but pple who r into such things, believe that everyone has a "badbadbad" day at least once a year... if u r suay, the "thing" can follow you home... as im typing my goosebumps standing.... grrr.... anyway, apparently, my home had 2 such "things" a couple... haiii... my frn's hubby can see &amp; get rid of such things... so we asked for his help... so he came with his shifu &amp; shimu... its quite strt forward la.. but they can see things which kinda freaked us out as well... i kinda sensed something "wrong" at home... for no reason wld jus get goosebumps.. plus always very tired HB &amp; myself... then my frn said they "suck" our energy which explains why we were always tired... the "things" were actually quite harmless la.. but jus to be safe ba... the funny thing is, on the day they came to get rid of the "things", my neighbour's door was open... i think they must be wondering what we were doing... but it was a very strt forward thing leh... the shifu jus stood outside our door mumbling to himself softly... then came in... my frn's hb "caught" the "things", threw "them" out of the house becos the male "thing" refused to leave our home but the female companion was willing... anyway, after that day, our neighbour's door always shut close... when see us, faster close door or ignore us de leh... -_-" prior to this incident, their door always open... *shruGx*

a bit sad... today spoke with my boss &amp; HR... boss says motherhood is more impt.. so i must make a bit of sacrifice... slight changes to my JD(job description) il mainly be in the clinic... plus im optin for 5day wrk week... mon-fri only... dun wish to do weekends... so i cn spend time with Kirsten... plus not goin to work 24hrs... so have to take pay cut... hw much is not said yet.. but a bit sian lor... boss says concentrate on doing my part as a mother 1st... says cant put me back on leadership roles... asked me not to be offended or upset if my junior does my previous roles... actually to me is okie la.. i dun like so many responsibilites also... hahaha... last time work like siao lang... sad part is pay cut lo... haiiiii... anyway, was telling my dad lor.. if pay cut is too jialat, i might probably look elsewhere for job le... anyway if i wan to tender, need to give 3 mths notice... bummer...

on a happier note, are ur babies "crawling" ? kirsten, be it on tummy or back, will always move upwards leh... she will kick herself up up up til she ends up "Dead end" then cry n cry... -_-" its quite funny to see her "crawling/squirming" lol! plus she lurves to stand &amp; sit now.. her legs r strong.. her kicks r powerful(painful if kena me) plus she has learnt one new expression!!! the sad face =( and her mouth really goes into a upside down U shape.. which is really funny to see!!!! but she really is sad lor!!! but im so bad la.. when i saw the expression i kept laughing at it.. then she cried... hahaha! my bro managed to take a photo... when he passes to me then il upload it.. hee hee hee..!!! also, the other day i went to KP and i put her in the FP jumperoo... heh heh heh... she looked rather apprenhensive and "Scared" so i bounced her a bit.. then took her out lor... heh heh heh...

i think kids and babies are really cute &amp; sweet! that day at expo JL sale, we were Q-ing to pay... in front of us were 2 little twin girls... i think shld be 3-4yrs of age... they saw Kirsten and kept on touching her... touch her cheek... legs... arms... was really very cute to watch... haha... then also when we were at KP, 2 sisters... rushed over to see her &amp; touch her... the funny thing abt all the parents is they wld always tell the kids to be gentle &amp; sayang... hurhurhur... r kids very rough??? hmmm...

okie end of super long post? aghhhhhhhhh so tempted to get wetbags!!!!! but i shall refrain la.. save $ ... now going to get pay cut le... *soBx* il ask my MIL to make for me bah... haiii

misscandy, "sayang" dont be sad about the pay cut. Look on the bright side, at least you get to spend more time with Kristen and weekend is free to spend with family. Just shop less hehe.

So sad that u goig to get paycut. On the other hand, time is $$ and u have earned urself more time to spend with bb! Me always want to go back to work but cos mine is a 5 day working week and i finish on the dot. If my job is like ur job before u give birth, then i prefer to stay at home liao. There need to be a balance between family and work. Now u got all ur weekends and nites for kirsten!

It's been abt more than a week since I came back to work. Mine is also 5-days work week and I go back on the dot (boss is quite supportive of work life balance esp when he knows that I have a small baby). I do agree that night time &amp; weekends have become so precious now that I don't mind if my boy don't nap that much anymore.

asura - so sian right? anyway quite lugi also. so ironic la. my contract is actually 5 day work week. but jus that its not exclusively wkday only. wld be wkends as well. on top of that, 2 of the 5 days, i have to "work" 24hrs... more like standby after 6pm til next day 9am... if there r cases for doctor or nurses, then il go... or phonecalls that come in for enquiries then i have to answer... but i guess with baby, its too difficult... for now... im on the lookout for other clinic jobs ba... hopefully something more feasible and workable... though boss says im in clinic, i still have to help out in the event short of manpower... or something crops up... so i shall see how jialat the pay cut is... bummer..

At least you got more time with your children. In order to work 5 days week, i change from retail job to current office job so that i can spend more time with my son. No regret......seeing how he have grown up was so meaningful and fun.

Ha! Do you know that 4 of us (hubs, the 2 kids and myself) travelled with a 25" luggage and a backpack. The 25" luggage didn't go any higher than 18.5kg and the backpack still had a lot of space to stuff things. We came back with another foldable bag to store the leftover diapers which we bought when we were there, but that's it. (we brought 2 days' worth of diaper to last us while in disneyland and then we headed to the supermart once we are in Kowloon)

Oh yes... actually had one encounter just 2 days back. I didn't realise until my auntie mentioned it. When we went to HK, my boy was very happy in the plane playing around. When we were coming back, he was ok initially. Just near the take off, he came very near me and asked me to sayang him. Meaning he wants to be hugged. I was nursing baby and when I saw fear in his eyes, I quickly asked hubby to carry him instead. Thereafter, I saw him pressing his eyes shut tightly and refused to open. I let it go for awhile and realised he continued this way for the next 1 over hour!! Hubby forced him to open his eyes but he refused. After that he bargained to go over to my parents' side. He chiong over, koala-ed on my mum and pressed his eyes shut for the next 2 hours! It couldn't have been he is scared of flying cos this is the return trip. He may have seen or felt something he is not comfy with?
 
pups - omg! poor thinG! do u have a religion? hmmm... actually last time when i was a kid, my sis &amp; i always disturbed by such things... =( i wld always hear things and cry... my sis can see them... haii.. so my mum brought us to the temple.. make us drink the tailsman water and our shirts behind have the red chop... our old hse in penang also had the yellow tailsman over every door... but somehow we outgrew it... they say after a certain age, u wld stop seeing/feeling/hearing for some... but for some they will continue to be able to hear/see/feel... luckily for us outgrew if not jialat!
 
kome - for me, i dont think wil be hard to find job becos always in demand.. must jus see whether im fussy/demanding or not.. lol! if HB is earning more, i wldnt mind being SAHM... in fact if they asked me to leave i also wont mind... my current wrk plc is not very family frnly in terms of hours.. though my boss is very pro family la... she also poor thing la... her daughter always at home with maids &amp; granny... middle of the night have case, my boss has to go n see... so much so that now she has to block out wednesday totally! but sometimes no choice also kena called to do cases lor... haiii... thats why b4 pregs, my other colleague and i were saying if wan to have family, cnt wrk this job de.. but who knws.. so heng.. ! i actualled tendered last yr june leh... then my boss asked me to reconsider... so i stayed... then end up pregs in july... hurhurhur...
