Pink, i'm letting Keenan wear size M now, in fact he's been on huggies size M for about 1-2 weeks already and this few days started on the Fitti M. I think it's a really good deal but hurry, coz i'm not sure if its 1st or 30th that the promo ends.
Ida, why a sad icon? Not spending on pricier carriers is not a sad thing, neither does it mean u're a lesser mummy to Akmal. In fact, it means u're a smarter mummy if u know how to spend wisely only on the things u need. Some of us think carriers are important, so we spend on carriers. Some of us spend on branded bottles like our avent/nuk ones instead of neighbourhood shop ones. Some of us choose to purchase nursing covers instead of making them ourselves. We let our babies wear diapers instead of washing those cloth ones. Worse still, we even splurge on Sophies when we know there are other cheaper teethers out there.
I remember when i was young, i didn't have all these and in fact my stroller was those light weight ones that one day, when my mum brought me marketing, the groceries was so heavy on the handles, it flipped over and i bumped my head crying! But does that make my mum a lesser mum to me? Hahahaa of course not. It's not what we can or cannot provide materially to our kids. It'll be the lessons in life that we teach them and the love/support we give them always, that will make them remember us. That will make a difference to the kind of adults they will become one day, and to be someone we will be proud of.
So, since quite a number of us are SAHM, we should continue to share our lobangs here coz aren't we a bunch of smart mummies
hehee So, back to the shopping, anyone going to Motherhood Fair? Heheee
