aiyo ... took forever for me to coax her to sleep. In the end she slept only after I wore her on my carrier.

Before she go cranky from the tiredness she was so cute. I sat her on the sofa, sorta wedged between the indent of the sofa cushions and she just kept looking up and around and smiling all the time. She looked as if she was seeing something.

You mommies will prbably think I'm nuts but I believe in angels. And I think if there are angels in this world then little babies will surely be the ones to see them. Everytime she acts like I think she is seeing angels. Little angels flying above her and playing with her.

btw, I have been meaning to ask you. You bought the energy saver from the BP a while ago right? So did it work? The electricity tariff actually dropped this year but I'm wondering if you see a drop in yur consumption? Am thinking whether or not t get it because now that BB is in her own rom, we turn on the air con for both rooms. My electricity bill is really high lor

I've never tried connecta before but based on the description of the material, it seems cooler cause Pikkolo material is quite thick &amp; it's black.

I also think babies see angels around cause my boy smiles &amp; coos alot when he's looking around &amp; stare at one spot at times.

eh, if that is the case isnt it easier and faster to simply use bottles instead? Bottles can last for a looooooooong time, much more convenient too.

aiya wait. a disclaimer first. Ive tasted better desserts than what's available at relish, but at Zero cost I think those are pretty darn good lor. Hehehe Wild rocket? Have been meaning to try it but never did. Maybe I should check it out soon.

Oh ya ya ... aiiii never had the fortunte to have fri afternoon off to go for the morton's free steak sandwiches. Heard they are superb!

maybe get the smaller ones? They should be a fair bit cheaper. But do try to get a reasonably thick playmat or it will defeat the purpose. Or buy Parklon lah? They should have thicker ones too. I also don;t know wat is the difference between the twp. I only nknow that I want to bring sassy's one home that day. hahaha
 
French stall? hmmmm long time since I go there. $6 a piece? might as well buy the one from da paolo. $10 a big big big slice. :p

Hmmm speaking of french stalls, I love my foie gras ... sorry huh me not very politically correct one. I really like to go equinox lunch buffet for their foie gras. But cannot eat too much. Two servings and I KO already. SO RICH! SO YUMMY!

If you have the feed at raffles card of the amex plat card it's automatically one dines for free. So if two of you go it becomes one for one. In the end, you only pay $70 nett for two persons, inclusive of a very nice main course. Good deal!

my hubby also has the feed at raffles card and we tried most of restaurants b4 the little one came along.Simply cannot resist the one for one offer. Haven't have a chance to try equinox though.Lurrve the buffet dinner at raffles hotel.Do you know now you dun need to produce the feed at raffles card to enjoy the 1-1 offer? Just need to show the amex plat card. Heard morton's steak sandwiches are superb too!

anyone tried bringing bb out to watch performances such as dance etc... i am very tempted as there is one event coming up.. i will be embarrassed if Bree cries during the performances.. haiz..

idle cat - think kome answered my questions - y u never sign up on the spot.. straight away will have discount as well... now storewide till end june.. thereafter 10% discount on normal items..

jap carrier can be both ways one.. only back facing is better... u wan?
 
ann, Haha same same. Trishelle also refusing to zzz in the day. Think half hr naps at most. Also like to eat fist until whole face covered saliva cause moving that dirty fist ard! When she sucks her thumb n if thumb dislodge, cry liao. Hah. But hope he zzz well night time? If so, day time no zzz is good! I think your idea of buying n keep then pretend its a gift is good. Haha. I shall think abt it. Wonder when is a good time to give to her... Haha. Yes her standing hair. Hai... Me gave up on it liao. Its her unique style. Haha.

Queenie yea Haha me got 1 each for #1 n 2 to put their diapers n extra set of clothings and another extra to keep their dirty clothing Haha. Buy la.. Good!
 
alfafa, the lunch buffet only 70 for 2 pax? can't remember, issit the italian restaurant on L1 of fairmount? I only been once and hb dun really like it. just got the amex card renewed but feel so wasted of not making much use of the card cuz hb very cheena one, only fancy Chinese food. u got try out the spa? also 1 for 1, not bad. But now breastfeeding can go? would milk leak or not? would be so paiseh if massage then leak milk.
 
for those using milk bag, can the bag be laid flat for freezing? I'm using Gerber bags to store and I put it at standing position to freeze. when it's frozen, it's pretty fat. In the end, one plastic box can only store 7 bags. If it's zip-log type of milk bag, would it leak if lie flat?

i think some performances may not allow you to bring babies in. so have to check the age restrictions. personally, i dun think it's a good idea to bring babies to adult performances. i wun like to be disturbed by crying babies at performances, so i shouldn't do it to others. well... unless they are really well-behaved ones and wouldn't make noise!

Where is the french stall? Is the coffee taste in their tiramisu v strong cos I dun like it too strong. Yep, I agree with Alfafa that Da Paolo's tiramisu is gooood cos my hubby (bf then) used to stay in Chip Bee Gdn and I always buy it hehee.. used to cost only about 5 bucks for the small box hor.

The equinox lunch buffet is served everyday or just the weekends? Foie gras I LOVE, anything sinful is always good!! The last time I had it was donkey years ago at Ritz Carlton's Sunday Brunch.. yummy but super exp (I think for the same price, Mezza9's champagne brunch gives you more variety of food minus the foie gras)!!! Anyway, I wanna bring hb there since we hardly utilise the raffles card hahaha what a waste hor, its usually the Pregos for us cos we both love pasta.

Any other good deals with the card??

Wildrocket - I tried it once last year. Food's good, can't remember what I ordered but the portion seems small or just nice only (me big eater LOL). Desserts were quite yum too. Place is tiny so you might wanna call for rsvns.

Cradle cap
If you have bought California Baby Calendular Cream, can also apply. Btw, is cradle cap on the head is it very obvious i.e. yellow patch? Cos my hb bathed Chloe last week and when hair is wet, we noticed her scalp looks patchy but its not yellow colour and when hair is dry its not obvious at all.

Nowadays Chloe likes to use her tongue to push the bottle teat to the left &amp; right side of her cheeks while drinking... aiyo is she being playful or what.

Today she super grouchy, no no actually since yday, keeps crying before milk, after milk, before sleep and after sleep... buah tahan! I scolded her cos she was screaming away while I made her milk and when I gave her the bottle, she seems to remember that I scolded her and started crying so sadly after like 5 seconds while drinking. Me so so guilty, quickly sayang sayang her... took her a couple of mins to get back to her milk. Bad mummy.

koala - queen of carriers is alfafa =P lol. i only own 5. 1 ergo. 1 jap carrier. 1 babyrock sling. 1 balboa sling. 1 connecta. all really cheap compared to pikkolo. =P hurhurhur. kirsten is always playing with the teat... haii.. plus she cries during her feed... someone mentioned becos small hole but i tried bigger hole and she cant cope with the increase flow.. she will choke.. -_-"

anyway, with the current crying.. i really think and hope its a phase... i try not to carry her too much but most of the time its because she is really tired and wants to sleep... but cant... haii.. needs to be carried/cuddled/patted/rocked to sleep... tryin not to but she just cant sleep on her own yet... =(
