kome - how much is playtex milk bag? i remember last tm someone was saying need to manually clip the opening is it?

meerkat - thanks i go n see.

Alfafa
Having sore throat now.... just popped some vits, hope it works! Missed your lunchie, i'm sure you had fun & yummy food!

Jasmine,
Sorry hor, how do you know that Connecta is more cooling compared to Pikkolo? How about vs Beco? Cos my bb perspire a lot... I'm still undecided which to get. So tempting to get after seeing all the gd reviews & nice pictures hehehe

hi meerkat, vernice,
the one by small small world at $119 is a parklon mat, not LG Prime which is what sassy has. It is also a fair bit smaller plus thinner.

i'm not sure what exactly is the diff betweem parkon n LG but the former is much cheaper usually. I personally think that the thickness is most important. sassy's 15mm seems about right. In fact it can go up to 18mm, but the price is not right. lols

Vernice
I got the 8oz one from oversea spree at $13 including shipping charges. Yes, you need to get something to tied the bag.

koala,
i just luuuuuuuuuurve the choco cake which has melted semi dark chocolate oozing out the moment dig in. pumpkin's strawberry cheesecake is nice too. but note that the portion is small, probably kinder to our postnatal waist line too. prosper had the roasted blavk sesame puree with ice cream.yummy

hope i didn't aggravate your sore throat just by this post. hahah

my fav is still the wild rocket signature burger, done the standard medium rare. ooooh la la

koala,
if keeping your bb as cool as possible is your greatest concern, i would suggest solarwave connecta, which unfortunately, only comes in plain colours. Annmelody has it. i haven't tried it myself but i read up on the special fabric online and it is apparently used by many diff carrier designers for their cooling range of carriers.

devil Haha how u feed secretly? U staying with mil ma? Haha.

Devil n Oxgal, mw mil also don't like me to bf. Say next time bb don't want to follow her hard to take care Haha. My hubby insist so in front of him she keep quiet. But in front of me can say things like, bf tiring le, cannot zzz well, bb hungry very fast. N when bb cries, she will say Aiya, if feed Fm, I can help u feed. Or when she talks to bb, she will say, don't know if u know how to use btl etc, Sian Haha.

kome - how many bags are there in a box? then what can we use to tie the bag?

alfafa - u really bad..tempting ppl. yumm..feel like having choco now

Alfafa, the last time I went to relish, I also had their strawberry cheesecake! Its definitely Yummy. Special definitely! Out of this world for sure!

Vernice
Wahaha.....i am looking at it LREdy. Still trying to stop myself to get it. :p

For 8oz, there are 140pcs per box. I get the clips to clip the bag. You can use anything to tied it even a string also can, but 1 problem is you cannot let it lay flat in the frigde. The milkbag had to be store in standing position.

alfafa - received mail! thanks!

cindy - haha my mum also same lah..just that she say drink BM will get hungry easily..as if FM won't get hungry that easy. i just shut off my ears lor..

kome - wa..control urself! ur last batch came liaoz?? This wetbag BP seem more exp right? but they got more hello kitty design. Wa..playtex very cheap hor! hmm..wondering if there is any Spree now

cindy,
but the portion for that is small. :p

i think relish has nice desserts, and i give them an extra star and a half because they are free with very main course ordered. wed only.

vernice,
i'm terrible hor. go around tempting pp to spend n spend, and now chocolates. hehe

speaking of cakes, i realy like the key lime pie at PS cafe. thought it was the greatest in singers but then i must admit, i hardly ever find key lime pie in singers so that was the best out of 3 i have tasted. pumpkin said that apparently marmalade pantry has a much better versionb.

as for tiramisu,
it has to be the one by da paolo. did i spell that correctly? the one at chip bee garden, opp HV

i like playtex! kome, yu are talking about playtex is it? once it is frozen you can place the bags in any position you want. it's only when it is still in the process of freezing that you need to put it in a standing position.

cheapest in the market. just get the cable ties from any diy shop or rubber bands will work too

woew my bb just gave a giaant poo. need to change diapers now

Vernice
This wetbag more exp. Haiz.....why last time i brought those wetbags don't have all this cute design. Now got so many already still hoe to get it. My previous wetbag send to my PIL's house so will be asking hubby to check for me tonight.

Playtex milkbag is really cheap but if you do not place it in standing position, the milk will flow out lor. How many ml can you get for each pump. Coz if alot might not be good to use.

Alfafa
Wahaha....i do not have so much BM to keep in frozen lar. Everyday pump everyday use up.

Prosper
Good lor. This BP design is more beautiful than the previous one, but more expensive lar.

Alfafa,

I'm always game for good food, even better if its cheap & good hahahaa (ohhh i'm such a foodie, had always wanted to start a food blog but say only no action LOL)! I've also gained more weight after birth cos appetite was lousy when preggy... sob sob....

Waaaa the desserts sound good. Mmmmm, now I've craving for PS Cafe's sticky date cake with ice cream!!! Too bad I've given up on beef few years back or I'll def try the burger. Had those free burger sandwiches served at Mortons Bar before and absolutely luuuuurve it!

Thanks for advice on the Connecta. But then, I cant bring myself to get it if its plain colour lah..... wonder which is the next most cooling?

Oh no, I'm also v v v v tempted to get the playmat but kinda exp... help!!

alfafa - For Tiramisu, try the one at The French Stall. It's light yet creamy and $6 per serve, can't complain.

Thanks to everyone who made payment. I'm sieving through all the e-mails now, pardon me if I miss replying to anyone.

Juz up from nap...ooo i really needed that, charged pu for my 5am marching session again later tonite, gesh...when, oh when will my little boy sleep longer...

I'm still torn between parklon and LG prime...does anyway know if it's really a big difference...

I'm a lansinoh milkbag fan, the fact that it lies flat while freezing means when it hardens, it's a flat sheet of iced milk. Can store so much more in a big plastic box. Oh yeah, remember to put some soda powder at the bottom of your plastic box mummies, it "protects" the milk from other odours in the freezer.

alfafa - ya lor terrible. hee Joel also just awake for milk n here i am pumping away. so my mum will have to help me bottle feed :p ya me was asking kome on playtex milkbags

kome - i can only get abt 150ml per session wor...like that worth it or not? i also don have a lot of milk but tot can store 1 pack per day n use it when i return to work lor..
heehee sell away those u not so like one lor..then can get new ones..this BP like abt $2 more exp?

koala - heehee me too tempted leh...but my hb not really willing. he ask me to get the cheapo one..sigh...now i am trying to make price n design comparison across all 3 BP

Vernice
Wahaha.....cannot resist temptation lar. I go get it first if not later OOS again for those fabric that i want. Will see later if i am able to sell off some of it that i don't want. :p

koala - i tried both connecta & pikkolo the other day... connecta material is slighter thinner... do bear in mind connecta has 2 kinds of carriers.. one is the solarweave.. which of cos is much cooler and lighter... more for hot weathers... and the other is the normal material.. i think its cotton or something.. =P anyway, pikkolo's shoulder straps have thicker padding... also pikkolo has double buckles to adjust at the sides... im nt sure how to explain the usage for it becos ive forgotten =P at the base, there is a built in rubber thingy to adjust the base where baby sits... some babies are nt able to open their legs too wide.. therefore, you can adjust the base to be smaller so bb is more comfy... =) for connecta, the strap comes in the box... u have to place it urself... its like a strap with the buckle... this strap can also be used as a back strap if u wish to carry ur connecta not in the cross method.. i hope u understand what im tryin to say... WAHAHAHA...

kome/star - but lansioh more exp right? i am trying to find a cheaper way of storage.

re:playmat
apparently they say LG is of better quality tho parklon has improved

kome - wa like that very risky leh..scarly cannot sell how?? u like the hello kitty one huh?

fatfish - only same temp then can mix ah? i sometimes store my fresh EBM together with chilled EBM leh cos not enough bottles..can?

fatfish

Missycandy
Seems like you love the connecta very much. Wahaha......initially i should stick with connecta instead since it is more cheaper than connecta.

Vernice
Wahaha.....cannot sell than give it as a gift to my friends lor. :p I like cute things lar, thats why cannot resist all the temptation.

RE: Cradle Cap
Don't peel it! as it might cause infection if got open scar. My friend did that and cause his baby to have pus.
My baby also have Cradle Cap. I apply olive oil, leave it and let it drop off itself.
If cradle cap pesist, might got fungal infection; then need to apply the cream prescribed by PD.

Hi Ida,
Can the Jap Carrier use for front facing? or only back facing? How much $?

BTW, do U know how to become Kiddy Palace's member?

Missycandy, i'm keen. Need some retail therapy as going back to work soon.

idlecat - i don see the playmat in retail shop..

missycandy - u know what is at the motherhood fair?

kome - haha idea too...i also like cute stuff esp pooh but they don have..

Idlecat
Jap carrier use for front carry only. We brought it at $16, not sure if she got increase the price or not.

You just tell the cashier that you want to do membership card and pay $10 for 1 year.

Queenie,
yah u can do so. Thanks! I've got your mail.

Vernice & kome,
I m tempted too on the wet bags. I like the twinkle one..so sweet.

Prosper,
look at the thread that vernice attached, their hello kitty design is nice

Re: EBM
I was told or read somewhere that we can only mix if they of same temp.

vernice, is it? hubby want to see the actual playmat material first leh...

Thanks Kome. Recently bought stuffs from KP with 15% discount only as non-member.

Idlecat
There is one shop selling baby's pdts at Peoples Park Complex that sell the LG mats. Saw the catalog there. Can't remember name of shop, some mummies here may know.

I just bought a parklon from World of Korea for a friend's son, delivered to me yesterday.

This thread is very 'poisonous' wor, mummies here are all shopaholics. I too have been buying things from the BP threads. Just ordered 2 GAP rompers at $9 each.

RE: Insurance
Anybody start looking at baby insurance? hubby is chasing me to look at it and get some protection for our baby as age before 6mth is cheaper. Any advice what type of min coverage should we look for?
