tuskywoolie, i am using pacifier for my baby, although at first I really didnt want to but somehow the pacifier helps to stop her from crying nonstop at times, so feels that its better to stop her from crying. Guess its really up to individual.

Nancy Hauw, can try Hipp Organic milk formula. It really has less bubbles than Nan which I used previously. Also dissolves fully with no lumps. Not sure if it is coincidence but my baby burps more easily now and seems to have less gas troubles.
alfafa, I got your message about Chicco Polly! But eh, I saw the Peg Perego I want at discount. Still thinking... Hope the insurance gets settled soon. It's dismal that they would throw out your case when you have been paying the premiums!

I change to Karihome Goat Milk as my 2nd gal is drink this series as it's help her since she always sick and easily get phelgm and changing to this per advise from chinese physician , I see improved for my 2nd gal . So I use this for my boy lor though first year FM they did not add DHA as they follow the guidelines to be as close as BM , after 1 year old goat milk , DHA etc is added . My personally feeling is the the recent Enfalac series have higher DHA which my boy cannot digest so got bloated stomach etc ... last time my 2 gals when young drink no issue .. think have to try and error to find the most suitable FM for your baby . </font>

hoho3, staying at Shelford. If your mum/maid attend the talk and eat the food, then yes, you would need to pay for them. But if they are just minding your child, then no need.

Please note for mummies who want Sophie, I am ordering from a shop who charges 11.80euros plus shipping. They will pack nicely into box so I can check in at the airport. There are some other websites who sell it cheaper at around 8 euros BUT they don't have ready stock or charge some handling fees and more expensive shipping or not from reputed business so I don't want to risk giving them my credit card info.
Please be comfortable with this ok?
I thought $25 is ok since it's $35 from the BP and $39 retail (need $150 min order for free shipping)

is it true that babies will get phelgm from drinking fm? i'm feeding my boy enfalac as supplement for my bm as well and noticed that he gets a lot of phelgm. always suspect it's from the fm but my mil and hb dun believe
it's makes his breathing so hard sometimes with the "konk konk konk" sound.. too bad not enuff ms for him...

No worries. And as we are ordering more, I am asking them for discount. But er being French, better not get our hopes up too high. They didn't seem too happy that I wanted to order so many, almost as if I was giving them trouble. Argh... the French, it's a love-hate relationship

Hubby normally away for a month and back in SG for a month. during his time in Sg, he does not need to work so he will be really bored if i just go off. can i ask him to come along as well? do include the charges if needed.

Sung : My elder gal take Enfalac series is ok . My 2nd gal take already and when she is sick , she tend to have more phelgm and so chinese physician ask us to change to goat milk though more expensive than cow's milk , we change and I do see improved in her condition , now even when is down with cough , lesser phelgm and she recover faster . Yes , FM do cause phelgm and if feel Enfalac not suitable for your gal and she has a lot of phelgm , u may try other brand to see if it's help .

sung, i tink take me out of e playmat order...not wat i hav in mind. i prefer those w mobiles/other interactives...very visually grabbing but a bit pricey...
irene...i order e design Olive lacework connecta...they state how pieces r left for each design... ann got e infra red protection connecta...i tink for myself not required...as can always use stroller...some sunlight gd for bb too...bb oredi 2+ mths when connecta comes...hopefully e flu alert can go down n bring him out to gai gai more often. rite now i use e sling bought frm kiddy palace...
fm vs bm again...i agree w changing fm rather than using medication though itz rather instant...itz bad to b reliant on medicine to b relieved...oh this Mr Brown milk bottle...can reduce colic...ever heard of this brand b4...?

My girl's head is also flattened on one side!! She loves sleeping on her left and will shift back to left eventhough we move her head to the right... sigh.... scared it'll permanently be like this since I cant put her on tummy all the time??

check if ur bbs neck muscle have a lump on either side...touchwood but i used to b a tilt rite side bb...as a result my mama had to bring me to hospi to twist my neck like opening up a bottle...i a 2+ mth bb...don play play hor...very heartpain to see bb scream in pain during therapy k...taz why my mama keeps warning me when my bb tends to sleep on e rite...luckily he no lump on either side...only problem wind wind wind in his stomach...

dun feel bad about stopping bf... sometimes we should think this way, by stopping bfing, we are actually allocating more time to be with bb, or more time to do things within our means for our bb (since bf is a task out of our ability)
though i am still pumping, the frequency is reduced and i forsee that i might stop even b4 i leave for france... but it's ok cos like that i can transfer the pumping time to play with bb more
