hi everyone, long time did not log in already..
after reading all the posts, realised i m not the only one facing bb issues :
Waking up at night:
BB can sleep like a pig in the daytime (3-4 hours consecutively) but at night doesnt want to sleep, can wake up every hour for milk (i m doing TBF) or want pple to carry her, it has been 2 weeks already and still trying to monitor her sleeping hours. Anything i can do to make her sleep longer at night?
Itchy feet:
I also kenna the itchy feet, rashes started after my delivery on 7th Mar in between my toes and my soles, sometimes itchy and made my feet looks wrinkled and dry, no choice, got to keep applying the cream (Elomet) that my gynae gave, but he did not tell me how the rashes came from and when it will go away leh...
Fingers & wrist pain:
i have been having that, esp when i tried to open and close my fists, heard from my massage lady that it was due to water retention, so whenever she massaged the joint areas, the pain is unbearable!!!
Pacifier:
Asked my PD and he said if the bb doesnt want, no matter how you force her to take it, she will just spit it out, so it depends on individual. My MIL introduced pacifier to my bb since the day i was discharged and i was super mad about it, cos my bb keep spitting it out but my MIL continued to force the whole thing into her mouth though she was crying badly, i felt so heartpain seeing it. At times during changing nappies, bb also cried, but my MIL ignored the fact that bb's bottom was half done (naked) and might catch a cold but all i saw was she was looking ard for the pacifier and stuffing it into my gal's mouth.
In the end, my hubby told his mother off, giving example like pple dun want to smoke, why you keep forcing her to take the cigarette?? Better for hubby to tell his mother off, dun want to create more misunderstandings.
