When do i drink it? Everyday to increase dilation? Or just before i go admit myself in case need arises for induction?

thanks!! bb was 3.3kg at 38 week ... so we were shocked when he was measured to be 3.72kg!! but those frens who came to visit say that he actually dun like like 3.72kg so we think he has heavy bone heehee

missycandy, everytime bb cries, she will make milk for him...every nite bit by bit...then every morning i will see like trace of bb splitting out...heng bb noes hw to spit out some amt else super nt digestive liao.

wintertime, he looked at the chart according to bb's height, says he belongs to 90 percentile (weight) vs normal 50...advised us to give him 80ml..instead.

I actually was quite active also, went to gym and swim weekly till I was at week 37 and had been shopping these past few days, don't know why still not dilated. Just hope bb guai guai show me some sign on 22 Mar.

I went to see gynae yesterday morning. My EDD is on 29th march... Baby's weight gone down to less than 3kg now and I lost weight too...

I asked gynae.. He said last week baby is 3.2kg, how come this week is less than 3kg.. He said it's only an estimation... He said maybe not so fast... Baby's head still very high... After that, he did a VE and said abit dilated already, about 2cm dilated. See him next monday again... Me also having alot of menses cramp like feeling.. Now my MIL with me coz hubby on night shift... They dun dare to leave me with my gal alone worried I might give birth anytime... Haha...
 
clio, i've recieved a call from gmarket asking if i've recieved the diapers this afternoon. I have not recieve yet. Was told to leave a comment at the site once recieved.

Misscandy, my boy drank 90ml during his stay at the phototherapy session also, but come back hm only drinks abt 60-70ml. Was told by the nurse that they get dehydrated during the phototherapy so they will drink more that time.

I surrender to sarong when I had my first gal. That time die die want to let her sleep in cot (borrowed from fren). But dunno why, I keep waking up to make sure that she is breathing while sleeping and furthermore, she sleep very short timing and wake up crying. Got no choice as I had c-sect and need to rest, so ask my hb go buy movable sarong from kiddy palace.

Gosh, it was like a big help from heaven. She can sleep thru the night and really ease my sleepless night. Day time she sleep on mattress but night time in sarong. She got no problem with sleeping outside, just need to pat her on shoulder and put back to pram will do. I whine her off sarong when she is 12mths old.

But one thing not really true abt her is, sleeping in sarong does not make her head round leh. hehe. I think after being parents, we will try our best to do whatever we can to make baby rest and sleep soundly. So just try out whatever way u want first then turn to last resort if no choice.

For my #2, I only bought playpen to try. Dun want to waste money on cot and end up she dun want to sleep again. So my backup plan is, if she dun want playpen, she will sleep in sarong like her jiejie.

Few of my frens who've have use traditional &amp; holistic postnatal massage service also was advice to take milo &amp; egg like caca did to have an easy delivery. Seem that they too had easy delivery and I think I will try also this method.Hope that works on me too. Have try to email them to ask some tips although not plan yet to have my postnatal massage but still they reply to my quires. I even get advise on breast pump too and what to consume for better milk supplies. Very gd advise I've got frm them.

my bb gets real cranky (energetic) between 11pm - 2am almost everyday nw. really have hard time making him sleep...later realised those video clips i took during preggie on my bb've movement 90% are ard 11pm++...tat explains why ba. mummies, any gd idea to share hw to make bb fall asleep? me n hb tried all ways...eventually only let bb latch on is the best. hope i can jump place him on his cot n he sleeps himself wor,.

My confinement nanny gave me half-boiled eggs cos she says is nutritious and I can eat it. As for coffee, I was drinking one cup a day throughout my pregnancy and so I still continue to drink during confinement! Hee.

Take it easy.... I don't think my baby engaged until during the birthing process itself. I was also told that baby was very comfortable inside me prior to birth but I was 6cm dilated upon admission. Things can happen when you are not aware of it and least expecting it. Still have some time to go before full 40weeks

Btw, are you and hubby still "active". Sex can play a role in softening the cervix for dilation and may also bring about contractions ;)

When you say hospital feed a lot is it during phototherapy? During phototherapy baby is dehydrated and more thirsty so they drink more. Cannot be compared to normal times.

Sorry, just scrolled back and read your post. Actually when fever still can feed baby breastmilk! In fact, that is the way you pass the antibodies and immunity to your baby. The only time you can feed the breastmilk to baby is if you are taking medicine that are not breastfeeding friendly, or if there is pus coming out from breast/nipple.
But if you are going to latch baby directly, then wear a mask to prevent breathing into baby's face.

I have decided to just watch the baby and decide how much milk to give rather than follow charts or benchmarks. This was what we did for number 1 also...meaning if baby's comfort level now is 60ml, we continue to give 60ml... then when baby start to cry for more after 60ml, just top up some more. The next time increase to 70ml and see if baby spits out or is satisfied...
 
update;
yesterday my gynea visit , bb engage but only 0.5cm dilate =[
gynea say shd be out next week ... but we keep telling our bb to come out sat morning... hee hee...
then last night have a bit of show.. brownish stain only...
but no cramp.. morning have a more but also brown... eh so is it false alarm? crossing my fingers... but no feeling on cramp?

Was hoping to do it naturally, but BB is overdue liao and anyway gynae says head is very low and am 1cm dilated. Says latest sunday gotta check in...so don wan to wait liao cos neck very long already, haha

fyi - there is free internet access for single bedder at TMC..just have to get the network id from the nurse...not sure for the other wards..

I didnt bring the breast pump to hospital. In fact, I only started using the pump abt 1 week after cos bb lost weight and I had to measure how much she's drinking each time.

If your bb is latching on properly and weight is fine, maybe you dun need the pump yet cos my bb doesnt really want to latch on anymore after bottle feed... hmmm just my 2 cents lah... but I also heard there's babies who can take bottle and still latch on nicely.

I heard of milo with egg but the egg is half cooked. for the egg to be full cooked then it will be like how we boil soup. can i boil the egg, milo n water tog? exactly when should i start taking?

Is induce birth = natural birth... i thou of practising breathing n relaxation from what i read on hypnobirthing to have nature birth wo drug...

my boy also have those pimples at his armpit. and my pd say can use cord powder to apply on it. apply liao v fast it dries up. but for face, tink cant apply leh..
 
Grace - think the those are called whiteheads? mine has them on the nose. it will go away by itself after a few weeks/months...rem hearing that during doctors talk some time back

sun - gmarket's Goon seemed much cheaper than the spree we had some weeks back..you may want to check that out too...
