My hubby and I agrees that if BB no jaundice, we'll let him have it a day after birth. My nephew oso had it a day after birth at TMC.

its not a must right? cos what i do is that i will pull the skin down during bath time for my boy when he is older (like a few months old) to wash the penis so that no infection etc

i know that its v popular in the ang mo country but not in singapore i think. my PD oso never ask me to send my boy to do it ...

Yap ... i always pull the skin down to wash his penis just in case inside trapped any dirt or dry urine cos accordingly to my mum and cfm by my PD that this will reduce the chance of infection and avoid the situation of having him to be circumcise

but now he 3yr old liao ... the penis will have 'reaction' so my boy always laugh and tell me ... mummy, my penis can stand up ... cannot come down ... so funny *faint*

the bumper playmat is like this link, and usually in a yellow bag. i've seen them at lotte supermarket at seoul station. better print a pic to show them unless u hv a translator with u! i've bot 2 so far, one for my hsbd to do his stretches after exercise n one for my girl to play on, hee.... namdaemun is probably the cheapest place for bb stuff, can bargain also.

hehe steph:: car seat we got him the maxi cosi priori XP lohs. he don't really wanna sit leys. I think won't be getting another one la. later the whole car become so cramp ley! how?

and ya loh, the stroller, aiyas, we wanted to get him used to it so we had to test it out loh. the CApella at home is really useful for us to push him around at home, so don't have to keep carrying!

Previously when he was younger, think up to 7 to 8 months, we mobilised him using bjorn, he loves it so hates stroller. Then getting tiring, we bought the beco butterfly but hubby doesn't like to use that so we had to source for strollers loh. SO if anyone wants a beco carrier, please let me know! mine is totally new with box and CD! hehe!

but very difficult to manage ... cos at times my boy will just itchy finger and fiddle with his penis *faint*

so whenever i catch him ... i will pull his hand aways and tell him that its very shame shame to do that lor

maxi cosi is a gd brand. We got the Combi Coccoro carseat. We started using it when my boy is 3mths old, so far he is ok...throughout car journey, he wont reject being strap in carseat & hubby believe must train from young so he don't allow me to carry him even if it's a short journey like 10mins car ride wor. If he fuss or make noise, we gave him a toy/rattle to distract/entertain him

As for space, yup saloon car no space for another car seat so hubby say wanna change to MPV but now economic uncertainty, we shifted our plans till later bah. Save $ so might source for 2nd hand stroller or carseat for #2. As for carrier, i have a hand me down lucky baby brand but have not try it out...don't think got chance to try on #1 cos he too heavy at 10kg now, diff to tahan shoulder weight. Have tried MIM sling though but don't really know how to use it

We are gg to circumcise my boy during birth, think is the 2nd day of birth. When I had my first boy, we did it in TMC, but the pediatric surgeon is from Mt. E. He came over to perform the circumcision but need to do follow-up at Mt.E clinic. Whole process only takes less than half hr. He just place a ring on the penis and it would drop off with the extra skin about a week later. There is no cut or stitches, and according to doc is painless. It's through my son's PD that we got to get the doc, cuz PD usually don't perform it. Oh, it cost $500 inclusive of 1-2 follow-up reviews in Yr2005.
