Hi Pink Piglet,

Me too...Can't wait to go.
Any MTBs here are intending to be or are SAHMTBs?

Hi Wishaboy,

What did u lose?

Yes. I have tested positive in 2 separate tests. And this should be my 7th weeks. My MS is bad until see food or think of food already feeling nausea. Me too having the though of having 1 baby is enough... haha..

Mummies : We will tied thru no matter what . . just bear with it and when you see the small one grow as times passby .. u will be happy and all it's worthwhile to bear thru MS or worried .

Magd
We here still hope you'll find a way to keep this baby. There's always a way, right? So what is you and your hb's decision?

Relieved to hear that your BB is doing well despite the big scare. Best to stay rested. Stay strong gal.

Welcome new MTBs Sandi Teo and Siew Yee!

Sandi Teo
I haven't had any MS. Symptoms I had from start till now are, bigger boobs, tiredness, very slight nausea (more towards the evening), bloatedness, fluctulance, spotting, light headedness and relatively good appetite. So everyone is different. Don't worry too much if you don't have MS. I know many mummies who didn't suffer MS.

Hi Wishaboy,

Phew...

Hi Babe,

I also realised bigger boobs, painful and swollen...I'm only on the 7th week...any idea when is best to buy new bras??? mine like can't fit soon....

gingal
I think it's best to start shopping only after 1st trimester. If you can get bra back extensions, might save yourself some money for the time being. Try not to wear underwire bras as they may make you feel more uncomfortable. Heard from other mummies that nursing bras are more worth buying.

gingal,

Dont worry, no need to buy now. Think the growth would plataeu for a while then start again. I filled up my bra last week then suddenly the growth stopped. Whew! Cos i agree with babe that nursing bras are more worth buying... colleague say that size would go back to normal after we stop bf.

Should I start shop for shoes? Heard that feet will swollen... but current shoes slippery.

Yesterday stomach ache 1 hour...don't know anything wrong with my bb...still a long way to reach gynae checkup appointment. Should I ask for medicine for stomach ache?

Oppsgal
Sounds okay. There's a lot going on inside your tummy area. I believe it's your uterus growing and your body is making room for it and may cause the aches. Wear loose outfits and try to move a bit and not stay in one position for too long. Hope it settles down and you can feel better. If you are really worried, you can call up your gynae for advice. Take care.

Oppsgal,

Think it is okay... seems to clash lovers and partners but we are the ox's parents..

Me also goat..

Ox seems like hard to teach.. "Ox can also be a bit stubborn or dogmatic. They prefer to lead and dislike to be pushed around."

Yea, I think later on, there will be more symptoms like heartburn, shortness of breath, sluggish bowel movement, etc when our organs get pushed upwards and everything in our body will feel tight and constricted. Well, hang in there. We will all feel one symptom or another at some point of our pregnancy. Fun stuff, eh?

But I read somewhere that as Ox 2009 has the "Earth" element to neutralize the negatives traits of the Ox. Or something like that. Sure hope it's a good Ox!

They never categories the horoscope into what goat match with what kind of ox, eg metal goat cannot match metal ox or what...

Babe
The website says that Earth Ox are practical and down-to-people, are dependable and disciplined, loyal to both friends and family members.

Hope good ox too... haha. Cross fingers.

Earth sheep don't seems to match the description.

Hi Babe/Asura,

Thanks, listen to u all and better dun buy new bras yet. Extensions dont think will help, cos it's my Cup that is smaller and squeezy now. I cannot don't wear without underwired, goes out of shape...very funni...i need the support...Arghhhh...

Hi Oppsgal,

I think our feet wont swollen so soon, but u shld try not to wear slippery shoes anymore. I am still wearing my heels/open-toe pumps to work. Reached office, change bathroom slippers.

About Horoscope of Ox
It's so true, My MIL always says that abt Ox.
" sign of prosperity through the strength of will and hard work", "their feet firmly planted on the ground", "prepared to toil long and hard in order to provide a comfortable, stable and warm environment for themselves and their families.", etc etc...It's reflects true on the Oxens i know, they are stubborn too! keke, but being a Rooster and my Hb a Snake, Ox is our best match! (Ppl say it's "San1 He2")

I will also experience stomachaches now and then, i kinda feel it's becos bb is expanding and growing, that's why the slight discomfort. So dun worrie too much ok?

* Anyone's tummy already showing??? Mine like not keeping well, i did not put on weight for the 7 weeks, but i can't fit most my bottoms anymore.*

Hello All Mommies,

How are you? I'm new and here are my details:

Nick: Lizy
YOB: 1979
EDD: 07/03/2009
Residence: Yishun
Baby #: 1
Gynae: Dr Marianne Hendricks
Hospital: KKH

I will be going for gynae checkup this coming Fri. Really looking forward to this as we'll be hearing BB's heartbeats this time. The previous checkups Doc said BB was too small and we might not be able to hear the heartbeats clearly.

Really nice reading this forum as I found a lot of similar preggys' symptoms are also happening to me right now. And it's so comforting to see you gals encouraging one another.

Kome, I did exactly the same thing as you last night. Woke up in the middle of the night a few times, switching on and off the aircon, going to the toilet etc... Didn't really sleep well...

No lar. My MS not everyday

Sun
I also don't like MS, but some MTBs have mention before. MS also prove that you really pregnant. Must tahan tahan tahan. Me althought not so bad but also not very good. Hope everything will be smooth after 1st trimester.

Gingal
Me me.....i find that my tummy growing abit bigger. Heard that #2 tummy will show faster? Haha....Don't know is it my tummy before i pregnent or is it due to pregnancy become bigger.

gingal,

Cant really see the difference in my tummy size but noticed that my bottoms are starting to feel tight, usually they are loose. Think growing slowly, afterall the change cant be happening over a nite!

Hi Lizy, Welcome!

gingal
Yea, my Triumph bras are quite thinly padded so the cups expand a bit to fit my now bigger boobs. They are really comfy as there's no underwire. If your bras get real uncomfortable, then just buy a few bigger ones later? My tummy is losing it muscle, I guess the progesterone is loosening up all the flab so it's hanging out. But it's not grown much. Can still fit my work pants and shorts.

yooo hooo.... u counting down to going home... im counting down to see peanut for the 1st time.... kekeke... half hr more... going to have my bath then walk over to the clinic & wait for hubby... hope all is well... hopefully i get a photo... will i get photo??? hmmm... anyway.... update later.... anxious liao... hee hee

My gynae only gave me pics before i sign up package. After that i don't have any.

Hope to have for all the 12 mths leh......

Hi Babe, thanks for your advice! I am worried becos I read somewhere that the more symptoms you have, the healthier is the baby.

Hi Siew Yee, I'm also at TLC but I'm seeing Dr Eunice Chua. Your Dr Tseng is very suave & handsome haahaa

hi, sandi teo
i oso do not hv much symptoms, only nausea on and off. hv u gone for ur 1st scan yet? me haven't, think will only an xin after the scan.

Hey Sashamama, Jiayou! Pls do rest well and don't think about school anymore. I know it's v bad to say this, but the sad fact is we can always be replaced but we need to be strong for our family and baby.

I just went for my scan and EDD is confirmed 12/3/09.

These few weeks have been v tired i kept sighing loudly at my desk in the staff room--too many negative energy!.

And do any of you mummies out there really feel 'hormonal'?!?! The other day one naughty student made me so angry but i was so tired i just stared at him and teared up. But thankfully the girls in the class shushed him up.

I was eating at Delifrance at TMC today and looking at the radiant mamas that walked past, i feel so washed out! Started to tear up again. I can't believe it.

hi, clio
it's normal to feel emotional during 1st trimester due to the buildup of hormones in our body. do take some time-out whenever u feel overwhelmed at work. u are right that our family is more impt than anything else.

how many wks r u now? did u c bb's heartbeat yet?

Hello elina,

I'm in Week8. Another 4 more weeks to go to get out of horrible MS.

Yes, saw baby's heartbeat- but when do they let u hear it? For my #1 i didn't get to hear my baby's heartbeat till 3rd trimester.

hi elina,
i went for my first scan on 18july, and at that time found out i was about 7 weeks preggy
happy.gif
could hear baby's heartbeat, so exciting. just did my 2nd scan last friday cos i kept feeling "cramps" so got worried but doc said it's probably due to the wind & my bloatedness.

Clio, i've been feeling very moody and seems to get irritated quite easily tho i try not to let myself feel that way. ya & at times feel emotional for nothing too. let's try to take it easy & we can always talk about it here ok.

actually i've been v worried too. been longing for this baby for almost 2 years and even quit my job few mths ago cos of the stress. now with the pregnancy, i think will be harder to find a job.

clio,
im a 1st time MTB, can't help u on ur query regarding hearing bb's heartbeat.
happy.gif

hope the rest of the MTBs who has experience can help?
