Prosper, you pump in ladies? my office also no nursing room to pump. i wanted to pump in conference room but my colleague said the lock is spoilt, meaning anyone can step in while me topless.. sighs.. in the end, i have to ask my boss to lend me his room, so everyday i pump at home before gng to work (ard 8am), then another time before lunch (ard 12pm) and 4pm and 8pm. Tiring but i believe both Kayle and Kayla receive the best from their mummies. I read from a magazine that the best gift from us to bb is breastmilk, cos ONLY we can do it, no one else can....

Missycandy & alfafa, saw ur posts abt the 'thing', so spooky... i believe they can see such things cos Kayla always smile to herself when she was younger with eyes staring at a spot for a very long time, though my mom told me it was the Chuang Mu who made her laugh, in my heart i was thinking as long as 'it' doesnt scare her or make her cry can liao.. it came a stage when she always get startled in her sleep then i use the pomelo leaves to shower her, after that everything turned normal again.. there was once something happened to me when i was in my teens. I dreamt that someone molested me, trespassing my private properties.. dunno if it was a dream cos i knew i was awake and my eyes were open, only thing was my body cant move and i cant shout nor see 'it' though i can feel 'it'. scary right? the next moment it was dawn and my parents brought me to the temple and they gave me a tailsman to be placed on my bed.

what is the charges per pax? i m tinking of bringing my hubby and bb, how much will that be? anyone can advise?

anyway my mom told me when bb reaches home, make sure we (hubby or me) got to say "we are back home" to bb while stepping into the house. dunno what it means but anyway we always say that to bb, aiyoz.. this pregnancy till after delivery makes me a bit of pantang already... i dun really believe in these but ning ke xin qi you, bu ke xin qi wu...
 
regarding the 'thing' i also believe babies could see. there was once when my baby cried non stop and kept staring at a spot on the ceiling. hubby realised smthg wasnt right and covered his eyes and he gradually quiet down.

my baby will also smile and coo to our ceiling lamp nowadays. i'm convincing to myself that he is attracted to it cos it is in black n white pattern and he finds it interesting??

keron, i had similar encounter as u. it happened a few yrs ago ard 3am when i cld sense the side of my bed being pressed down then chged to the other side. i tried to scream but cldnt and i thot i saw a shadow disappering. after which, i cld shout for my parents.

I was also told by my mum to say that to baby at the doorstep before we enter our home.
 
i think i should reduce my pump session from 5x to 4x.... Really getting tired...

Lil zac keep crying today. Dunno why.
he never poo for 2 days... Was thinking issit he uncomfortable cos of this...

Haiz, of all my 3 kids, this boy is really harder to take care.. With the sisters, i dun have so much issues..

ya my mom always tell my bb reach hme liao etc. and ask me don go out late and return hme late with baby etc.. i don really believe but i juz don go against her wish lor.

u gng to stop ur ms ? maybe zac juz want u to carry him for comfort? my mom always tell me if bb don poo for 2-3 days will be cranky one. but i donno true or not. u mustnt think this way.. u shd think each of ur son n daughters is special in their own way. =D
 
irene, agree with queenie that u shd be more positive k. my baby is also very demanding and drains all my energy everyday. feeding him is a battle to me everyday. he will suckle for a while then refuses. gonna spend abt an hr sometimes to feed him..
I believe the difficult time is just a passing phase and they will get better to look after very soon.

I also find that taking care of boys generally are more " siong than to a girl.. when they are older...lagi worse.
 
ann i think take care of girls more siong leh...though they can confide to mummies but need to constant worry abt their safety...aiya but so long its our child, both gender also must worry...must worry until they get married then worry abt looking after our grandchild...keke..i think too far le...

teddybaby, the PISA pump's breasthield is "fixed" so i can't install the new breast shield leh? so i still need to buy the connector right? worse thing is first few years is closed 6 weeks for reno, am suffering w the old breast shield now :S

ur bb also suddenly refuse bottle? They definitely know their preference. i reintroduced bottle to my gal properly, kept chatting with her while she rinks. she would cry a little bit n drink. i told her this week is 2 bttls a day. guess wat, after the 2nd bottle, which she took reluctantly, she was so smiley n kept staring at my boobs!

i'm not stopping my ms.. Just reduce one pump. it's very tiring n time consuming for me to pump at 6.30am, 10.30am, 3pm, 7pm, 11pm or 12am. I'm thinking of doing away the 7pm pump so i'll more time with the kids.
My colleague said she reduced but overall per day supply still can maintain.
Anyway my freezer is full of milk, need to use them up before expiry also.

wah, today will be my 3rd day in office n i'm feeling very tired... Want to continue to sleep now....

As 4 e engorgement, may b less in e day but not totally no...in fact if no engorgement in e day, i a bit sceptical if bb has enuf for e nite...if my boi patient never mind but if e ms goes by drips, tink he ends up either frus or sleeps by my nipple...

do u still latch zac on? from 3pm - 11pm is 8 hours apart .. i think every1 of our body is different so some can reduce pumpings some might not be able to..
why not u just latch him on for 7pm slot? hehe oh i just saw ur freezer full already.. hmm juz discard a few latest of the oldest collection? juz my humble thots..

Queenie, if i changed to 4x pump session, i'll shift the timing a bit. 8hrs is too far apart. Most likely will be 6.30am, 11am, 5pm, then 11pm

I'm letting my dog drink my frozen ebm to clear some stock.. my 3yo dun wanna drink, if not can ask her clear for me.

hmm u can try lor . but muz be careful when it turns hard rock. hehe luckily ur dog willing to drink the frozen ebm.. kekes mix in ur 3yo's milo or something. kekes. or u can use as facial ? but is a good sign for ur ms..so envy ..
 
ya.. maybe will try next week.
cos i realised if i pump at the 7pm slot, with the washing, sterilising, 30-45mins gone. these are precious time to be with the kids.. especially one long day outside at work.

letting Zac latch is one solution also. but this boy, really see his mood de... happy then he latch, not happy, will cry murder...

It will be better if mummies can stop after 6 months as its minimum to stop at tis point. And baby will start solid like cereal, so can slowly stop starting from 6 months onwards.

this morning woke up with two rocks on my chest. so means let it turn hard ok lah, it will slowly decrease milk la... shall do that.

Cannot stop pumping, just pump as usual but dont need to empty our breast totally and also drag your pumping time slowly like if you pump every 6 hours slowly drag like 6.5hrs than 7 hours.

I also add my EBM into my #1 milk when she not looking. hehe... as when I ask her want to drink mummy milk, she will smile and say "I dont want" I want milk powder milk. And I also got good MS and my boy can't finish in 4 days, so have to add some want feeding my #1 too.
 
jasmine, usually i do 5-6 hrly pump. 6.45am ,12pm, 5pm, 10pm.

If i drag to 7-8 means:
6.45am, 2pm, 9pm means 4am i got to wake up and pump.. if i dun wan to wake up middle of nite. but if wake up at 6.45pm, will be too rock liao. cos drag from 9pm - 6.45am
 
prosper, just pump when you really buay tahan. drag as long as you can.

jasmine: haha will still continue to bf la, till milk dries up, but just not full bf lo. too lazy to bring pump stuffs to work, then wash, then come home again haha.

Now I also pump 6-7hrs. 5.30am, 11.30am(At work), 5.30pm (Before I go off from work), and last pump is around 11pm before I go bed.

To me I will do it for my boy even if its troublesom. I bring 4 bottles, the ice packs and the motor with me everyday. Coz I have spare parts which I have left 1 set in office to use.

I have a sterilizer box which I use microwave to sterilize it in the office pantry. I will wash during lunch and early morning when I reach office. My milk supply the same I got 300ml each time I pump. As my office have move, so now Im using the spare pantry room with door and lock which no body using it for pumping, I have to print out a sign to paste at the door as cleaner usually will knock on the door will know Im using the room.
