The promotion to replace your non bpa free bottles to bfree and top up $8.90 at spring maternity extended till end of mth. I changed two bottles ytd. Btw what is the shelf life of a bottle and teat? Muz changed every 3mths? What about bpa ones? Longer useful life?

I saw the limited edition huggies jeans diaper. Err quite cheapo and plasticky looking. Wanted to buy $8plus only but changed mind.

I rented the Evenflo Foldable Activity Center Mega Exersaucer. i like it cos its foldable and for me sometimes i stayed at my parents' place so more convenient for me. I will source for 1(2ndhand) if my boy really likes it haha dunno how long he can play in tat since he's abt 8kg now

My hb preferred (1) as it is more orginal whereas I preferred (2) as bb ChiMun had taken the brand's FM, so we bought both packets lor! :p

huh? need to change bottles every 3 mths ah? ah! I duno leh! I tot only replace them if they looked wore out. BPA bottles lifespan shld be the same as normal bottles. Just that they are BPA free only. Otherwise shldnt have difference.

Thanks for ur advice. I must really learn to walk off at 7.15pm. So far my timing is like 8pm+. last friday my bb missed me so much that by the time I got home at 9pm after dinner and etc, she had cried nonstop in a never heard of cry for an hour until I was home and got me to hug and hold her to sleep. haiz. my heart nearly broken. not easy being a working mother. my project schedule still overdue by 5 days. Really die liao this time. I'd never miss a dateline before!

actually this weekend I brought my laptop back to work from home. But I realised that this stupid VPN dun allow us to have connections to certain systems/databases in office! @#$@#$#$!! So I can only compile my codings and hope for the best on monday when I do my SIT! :p But I din get much work done lah. After all, bb is my priority during weekends. Only when she'd slept then I can do my work. But she very smart. She kept staying awake n sleep little so that she can hug and play with her mum. Like just now, bb slept only at 11pm. Her usual bedtime is 10pm or 10.30pm.

bottle teat - my bb still on #2. let her try #3 abt 1 week ago but she cant accept the faster flow yet. My collegue told me her boy started on #3 at 7mths old.
Speaking of cot's bed height hor, this aftn my bb nearly flip herself out of the cot today by holding on to the railings and putting her leg OVER! I had just turned my head for juz 2sec when this happened! My heart nearly stopped when I saw that and all the folded bb clothes in my arms juz went flying in my hurry to grab bb back into the cot! super dangerous! Really must go and lower the height liao! If not, then cannot leave bb unsupervised even for 1sec!

u can imagine when my first son really fell off the cot when he was young.. few times leh.. moreover the cot railing we already put to the highest, he still manage to climb over. not sure how loh. when he stood up, the railing is just below the chin.

bottle teat, my son started the numer 3 already.. love it haha. he loves when i am engorged too. will complain when no more engorgement, milk flow super slow

mummies: me n hubby goin to collapse liao! frm insufficient sleep!my gal is vry naugty!

she nw besides flippin over to sleep, smtimes jus sleep sideway smtims al the way dwn head tilt up... but there is a risk! we took turns wake up on sat to see her.. wen she flip we turn her.. then sudly arnd 6+ i saw her face dwn!faintz! i jump out frm bed..heng seems she jus turn over only. she purposely de..cos day time she kp flip(once put her on mattress, lie dwn) then she wil kp bang her dwn for the fun of it.. so i think at nite sleepin she also lik tt.

end up yst nite my hubby try to constraint her movement, we put the round baby safe pillow n 2 bolster to 'tighten' her. end up evry hr she cry cos she cant flip over...

really dunno wat to do wif her
 
hello ice blue... im facing same situation... my gal sleep like flipping roti prata left n right got to secure w 2 side bolster, worse started teething wan drink milk night time n day same time also learning to crawl...n we just started cereal she can eat few spoonful each day i so tired must pump milk n look after bb ;)

Harlow mummies, are ur babies drooling alot? BB Sarah has been drooling quite abit n is causing rashes around neck area. Face looks dry too perhaps due to too much cleaning. haiz. Thign area (underneath) also some rough skin. Kinda of worried but dun seems to be serious till need to see PD.

Also, I have not start feeding Sarah cereal yet. Ask u all, nestle wrote on the packaging for bb 6 mths, so can I feed bb now since she is only 4 mths plus. I heard u mummies mentioning heinz has rice cereals meant for 4 mths?

Now Bb Sarah enjoys playing her jumperoo and sitting on the bumbo. Happie. But still dun realli like Sophie. Hope she will like the cup. keke.

So fast, sunday ending soon. Got to tahan 1 more week for weekend again. Are we getting extra monday PH for national day? keke.

Huh! Serious. I will ask my MIL bring her go see moro. I also worried is ezcema so keep on monitoring leh. Eeeks! Poor thingy. Stressed! Mine is pretty red leh. I see liao also uncomfy.I think bb dunno how to scratch yet. I guess is better to be safe than sorry, bring her go moro liao.

What is the brand of cereal u r feedin bb? I am still lost on which brand to get. haha. So keep on dragging the date to feed her. Somemore she got rashes, i dun dare to feed her yet.

I started feeding Justin cereal on Friday for the 1st time. Used the Bellamy rice cereal. 1 teaspoons and my breastmilk. He was ok with it, licking the spoon but was quite impatient. I bot the pigeon's feeding sppon. quite good, has this desgin that the tip of the spoon will never touch the surface of the table. Hence, keep it clean.

I havent let my baby sit in his jumperoo yet. Cos i read somewhere that if you let babies sit in walkers, jumperoo etc, their legs will not develop properl;y and they will walk weirdly next time.
 
Peachmomo, for bellamy rice cereal, do u just pour in your warm EBM in it and the cereal will be soft enough? I'm finding those that can prepare using warm EBM. So far sheepish mentioned Heinz one can use warm EBM, whereas for nestle, catmomo mentioned she had to use hot water.. So am finding those suitable to use warm EBM. Btw i bought the pigeon weaning spoon and bowl too! But think the spoon size may be too small going forward eh...

my baby flipped twice during mid of 3rd mth, then only recently he can flip more often, but still cant flip back after flipping. i saw the health booklet they say around 5 months.

i started giving my baby heinz organic rice cereal yesterday .. been trying to delay cos he is teething n been very cranky.
his first reaction is sour face, subsequently he loves it and seems to be asking for more.

my baby is 5 mths old...hasnt flip from back to tummy but is flipping from tummy to back..i will assist and encourage her in the back to tummy flip and leave her on her tummy..once she is tired, she will flip back to her back..i dont have to flip her anymore

i haven introduce semi solids yet..im planning to give when she is 6 mths but i have a feeling that she cannot wait that long cos her feeds are getting very frequent (2x an hour)..shes seeing her PD this coming sat and if shes ok with me starting, i will start after the visit

Answering my own qns posted above n sharing with u all. There is rice cereals meant for 4 mth under Bellamy brand. Saw it at cold storage but I didnt buy. Hubby say no hurry to give bb solid so I wait..haiz...I cant wait to see her expression with food in her mouth..keke

My boy also born on the 23rd Feb though his EDD is in March!

He can't flip on his own, gota assist him by turning his fat thigh to one side...then he will flip with much frustration!

At 4mths old, My PD advise me to start on Heinz rice cereal (can be bought in NTUC or cold storage). My boy loves it and will feed 4hourly. At the moment, only start to let him try the rice cereal and also avocado. Will proceed to other fruits next week.
