gave my gal try healthy times carrot jar. Wah e carrot really abit hard wash off if she anyh blow e thg sudly. Aiyo end up i kena. Gave her mix w milk also e carrot itself both she got eat

the carrot jar already contain water right..to make it puree..if its soft enough and ur girl accept then u can give as it is. if u make from fresh carrots (i.e. steam, mash/blended) then if its too thick or not creamy, can add milk to make the consistency right.

really kudos to u and lonerunner for organizing.

Went to taka toy fair. Really the craziest. Didnt buy anything. Went isetan. Mummies who are cardmembers, if u purchase $30 or $50 can buy some items for about same price. I thought i saw food jar and flask. Too bad i am not. The talking hall got fox and pumpkin patch baby and kids sale. Mostly for girls tho. Taka talking hall got sale on swim wear. Bought a liferacer swimsuit for my boy about $30 plus. The thermal ones quite cheap too but no size. Really alot of designs for girls!

Any mummies tried spinach on bb? I wonder how u intro. As puree? My boy loves sweet potato puree and cereal mixed with potato. He don't like fruits. Tried banana, pear and apple. Sigh. He is ok with avocado and pumpkin.

I have a small tin of KARIHOME stage 2 and MAMIL GOLD for exchange to Similac follow on. I think will get FRISO next wk. Let me know if u keen.

nana, my girl also likes potato..i als tried giving her banana mashed..she also didnt like it..good thing lili told me to try scrapping off from the banana straight instead of mashing the whole thing and viola, naomi likes her banana ...i guess after mashing, there is some oxidation and taste changes...did u try pureeing ur apple and pear with the milk that he is used to?? or u can add some apple or pear puree in the cereal that he likes. add bit at a time and gradually increase amount so he can adjust and get to like it.

Didnt notice venue no longer at pandan valley. Hmm abit way off for me.

My hb just told me with the 4th death case wrt to h1n1, he is not comfortable with idea of me going. Furthermore 5th-6th mth is the period at which babies immunity at lowest. I may have to cancel my run too

any recommendations for high chair? is the combi high chair good, i.e. the one with the rocker function, notice that its not the plasticky kind of material unlike other high chair, so worried that its not easy to clean, and with the rocker function, the chair seems to move a little even though the rocker function is lock, any comments?

Which combi rocker are you interested in? My girl uses the Rashule, which is not too bad, very comfy and secure. With the rocker function locked, you have to also lock the chair wheels so that nothing moves. My mum used to let my girl nap in the rocker when she was 1-3 months, then now, its just for her to feed porridge and play in, cuz my girl does not like to lie down much anymore.

As for cleaning, I wipe the plastic parts, and the fabric can be removed to machine wash easily. Usually I will lay a piece of nappy over the cushion fabric for my girl to use. This way, its softer for her to lie against and also won't dirty the fabric so easily.

im a march mummy and I tot this may be suitable for some of you. My hubby is going to run a talk about financial planning on 8th August, next saturday. The talk will emphasize on children's education planning and hospitalisation plans. On top of this, there will be aalso be a talk on will writing. My baby is also using teh Combi Rashule. I think its very good. Got it as a gift from my colleagues during birth. My mom will let bb sleep there up to now, still using it for naps. We also take the fabric to maching wash. Hehe.. Same like DJmama; I will lay a piece of nappy cloth over it.

Justin can still nap inside ah... Merisse got no space to turn or shift in the rocker liaoz... now we let her sleep on the mattress on the floor for naps... so she can perform her sleep stunts... roll around, shift 360 degrees or kick all over the place...wahahaha

Do you want to test Earth's Best Organic Cereals, Hipp Organic Jar Foods, Hipp Teething Biscuits, Earth's Best Teething Biscuits or anything else? I think they are bringing in a new type of rice cereal which is supposed to be very good too. Let me know so I can liaise with them.
If we want to buy anything, one of us with a car can prob drive to the shop and they will bring the boxes down to taxi stand. Or do you want me to bring some stock to the gathering so you can just buy on the spot?
 
Also, I have 2 spare 'rubber giraffes' as MIL brought a few back for me. I wanted to give as gifts to my friends but who knew they already have it!
