she wan to drink fr spoon better than reject milk totally lah. btw, how is ur baby? ok oledi? u urself take care leh. must drink plenty of water. can drink pi pa gao. it help to relieve sore throat. n some ppl say drink lemon+honey is also helpful. take care.

how is your jordon now? hope he is fine. there is some time my boy oso like urs. we oso dunno wat to do. force him oso no use, he will push away milk bottle by one hand, if we force, he will use 2 hand to push away the milk bottle! wat my mom did is try to giv him lesser milk but more frequent. heng few days later he go back to usual drinking habit.

Kindermusik was fun!

overall lotsa involvement btw mummy n bb. sing songs to them while teaching them simple actions like wave, clap, bounce n jump, intro new sounds liek train whistle thru songs n dance. play peek-a-boo using a parachute. too bad my little Summer was cranky cos it was her nap time!!

Summer was like clarice once. i change her milk bottle fr avent to nuk n it worked! but now she changed back to avent liao. i oso tried spoon feeding her milk cos i was desperate! tat worked as well. but bery xiong!!

the class is fun but hor. very shack for the mummy.. imagine i have to carry a 7.9kg rice bag up down left right.. walk in circles... faintz.. i m so exhausted now.. hahaha...She KO right away when the car drove off..

i did not sign up as i thought she is still abit too young for it. Perhaps when she is slightly older.. I went to see gymboree.. its look more fun with the gym.. up n down for them to train on their physical skill, however, its not as musical as kindermusik.

Wait for me to organise gymboree ok. I am planning for this also. But 1st let me finish with my Kindermusik trial. I think gymboree more expensive. Let me find out more details during school holidays. 1 more week to go! Hurray! Then almost everyday can play with my gal liao.

I have the coupon for the free trial for gymboree. Just called up them and said no validity date as i thought maybe i will bring my girl there once she can be more mobile n can enjoy more..

Each class, they can take up to 12 babies with trial.

Those bought Gaia with us, like Maureen, Jes.. DUN throw away your Voucher ok??? Its still valid.. We can all organise to go..

$40 is ok lah. I ask the HarbourFront branch, they told me it is $50 plus.

2nd Baby,

Chateau very expensive right? I once a Chateau dress during my bb 1st month celebration. I dun buy so expensive clothes cause my gal very rough type. All my Carter's clothes very dirty liao. Luckily onli $10 for 3 or I sure heart pain. Hehe...

Hard to enjoy marking. Now whole family, my hubby, my gal, my mum all taking afternoon nap. Me still struggling to finish marking.

gymboree seems much more interesting. I went to take a look too. its $399 for 12 classes, now got promo free 2 additional classes. but classes are for min 6 mths & above. haha.. my gal way too young.

I'm getting abit anxious for my baby gal. I realised my baby seldom babbles or coos. She is coming to 5 month old in 2nd June. By right, babies should coos alot right esp when caregivers are talking or playing wif them...

But my baby only smiles widely and kicking her legs and moving her arms in excitement when we interact with her. But she rarely make short vowel sounds like ooo, ahhh, ehhh. Only "mmmm" once a while. So getting quite worried. I've tested her hearing alot of time and she can respond by turning towards the direction where the sounds came from.

I will let Zach try gymboree - tink more suitable for him since he like rough play more..haha. I will go prob after he turns 6mths..the following 2 weekends is not possible -cos bz. We go mid-june lar.. during school hols, easier for everyone.

I personally felt the Kindermusik class is really nothing much..
 
Hi mummies, jus wanna share I saw snuffles(vapor rub for bb) at d living pharmacy at great world city. Remember Sam mention b4 this is d bb version of vicks. Hth..
 
Kindermusik: Seems to have mixed response. Guess bb are all very different n they have different preference. Cant have 1 programme that suit all. Guess we mummies got to let them try out different types then know which one more suitable for them. Sighs.. Going to burn hole in my pocket again. Somemore we are talking about enrichment class, we have not really touch on pre-school education. Heard that schools that got special programmes cost close to 1k per month.

My bb is 7.5 months liao. But compared to her peers who is calling mama or papa, she can be considered super slow except for 1 or 2 times out burst of da-di(daddy). She onli will go wawawawa non-stop or ah at times.

Most of the times she is like ur daughter, smiles wildly, kick her legs in excitement. But she is much faster in motor skills, fine motor skills also. I supposed for some bb, they are better in motor skills but slower in speech. Just like some bb are faster in speech but slow in motor skills.

If u r concerned, u can ask ur PD when u bring her for checkup or injection. But I really dun think ur bb is slow.
 
Ya my second one (daughter) was very difficult. Even when I started her on porridge after 6 months, she would vomit out all my food at least 4-5 times a week. My eldest son is more manageable though

Very Xiong ah. My current 3 rd one (another daughter) also not easy. Reject bottle, drink direct from breasts so little until she is only 5.75kg at 4 months. Then always diarr, recently sick with flu.

Are daughters all like that?!?!?!?

Do you often interact using baby language like 'Goo Goo Gah Gah", 'Da Da', eccentuating the pronounciation slowly using your lips? May be that might help.

What about using Elmo and imitating its voice to talk to the baby? Babies loves big eyes and voices that sound like Elmo. May be you can try that and see if she is responsive.

i m down with sorethroat n fever.. Suddenly one.. Along the way back from the class, i suddenly felt my throat pain.. n immediately fever arise.

Now i m 38.5degree.. no choice got to wake up n pump milk.

haven gone to see a doc yet...

I was very blur during the Kindermusik class. I don't really know who is who ... -_-

After the lesson, i have to rush home as baby was sleepy, she doze off after a very short while when bording the cab. I'm glad that at least sleepyhead was rather co-operative throughout the session, in the sense that she did not doze off during the session.

I only know Iemik0 was sitting beside me then. The rest i totally blur, oh yea, i only remembered Phylicia and Hayden too, he was super active and jumpy!!

KT & Fabbie, ya I baby talk to her everyday and she does react happily to everyone who play & talk to her. She has 2 little cousins to talk to her everyday but she just won't burb out baby sounds. Only will shriek when very excited.

Hi ypg, thanks for assuring, ya I will try not to think too much. Maybe she got meningitis before, now I pay a lot attention to her milestones, praying & hoping that the meningitis didn't affect her cognitive development.
 
Gymboree

There are several different stages depending on baby's milestone. For classes between 6mths - 10mths, they target at certain core muscle of the bb, developing different motor skills. For crawling babies, will be diff set of activities. So doesnt matter at what age baby attend the class.

I had some memories of Adel too (who was siting beside Iemik0), cos her son's trouser was quite loose that time. I was too shy to talk throughout the whole session :p

Erm.. anti colic Tommee Tipee bottles:I am using lei. No leak at all. The hole is at the side of the valve. Just press it down hard and it should function properly.

Seems like all babies KO after the Kindermusik class? must be very tiring Haha..
 
by the way, any mummies still taking multi vitamins prescribed from the gynae? I still taking Obimin lei..wonder if it is still good for us, i am still breastfeeding though.

kindermusik was fun.. haha.. i will sign hayden up when he can walk coz the mobile version of kindermusik is super fun one.. haha..

gymboree is like structured gym class.. but not so suitable yet.. when they become mobile, then they can exhause all their energy jumping ard.. but i think i will prefer go go bambimi!! keke

bur, tara.. hayden slept for 2.5hr after we got home!! haha.. i finally know how to make him sleep liao! hahahaha..
