i think the worst is when u come home. she's sleeping.. when u wake up she's also sleeping so at the end of the day she whole day didnt see you.

2ndbaby, luckily din go to robinsons. Snowger was telling me it was so so so packed and the queue at cashier was snaking long! Talk abt being in recession or swine flu..haha
I asked her to help me purchase SKII stuff n above $100 get $10 voucher. Not bad lar.. other stuff i not sure cos din ask her to get.. dun worry lar, robinsons have sale all year round

Is it fungus caused by insufficient drying? I use to get white patches on my face when I was young. My grandma say is cos I went out hot hot then use water to wet the face.
My ger went to see the skin doctor (who is oso a GP) downstairs my place for her super bad diaper rash n it was cured 3 days aft using the cream the doc mixed. My neighbour oso went to him for a condition similar to yours and cure aft 3 days... If u all want to go to him too, I'll put up his contact here...

I went for the close door sale. And I spent a whopping $300plus excl the SKII for kath. (Wah lao, first time i spent so much lor) I think most of the disc will still be avail for the non-close door.
I think the nursery has pretty good deals.
The disc were even more generous than the traffic stopping sale.
Cosmetic level- selected brands participate in the $10 beauty voucher for every $100 in one reciept (a bit diff to explain how this works).

snowger, usually i find it difficult to understand those voucher voucher thing.. i still hv metro 20% voucher which they will gv out everytime there is a sale for their cosmetic items.

my sil kid suppose to go sch everydae but he got urticaria, so she don wan him go sch even thou not contagious. den we ask mil to tell them tt we unable to take leave for todae even thou my bois sick coz hb got lots of work n i got not enuf staff for work as well plus swine flu alert gg on.
they insist we take coz our kids r sick. but in d 1st pl, their kid suppose to go sch, so if they don wan him go sch, they shud take instead of us ma. they say we din practise wat we preach coz we told them whose kid sick who take. but if thier kid well, they jolly well shud send him to sch n don demand i take leave ma.
told my mil tt i will put him in infant care n she say go ahead den fine lor. don come to us if they don hav money. mil alwaz complain her elder son no give her money n ask us for more. i don care abt them anymore.

me too!!! I look at all my credit card bills and I think my spending is getting way scary!!! :'( Gotta lock myself at home. Nowadays, like to buy this and that for my ger ger. Ger got even more things to buy! *URGH!*

Aiyah. I am also threading on thin line liao. Have been so pissed that my ger got her flu from my neice n nephew. AND she has not recovered yet. So upset I told my hb off liao. But IFC is still not gd solution since bb can get infected with virus too. DARN SIAN. Maybe I shld take no pay leave to take care of her myself. But then I got no patience leh + I am a super bad mother. *HAIZ* Too bad my grandma is old liao else ask her to help me take care.

same here. laz time when their kids sick n jayzon was onli a bb, they din even inform us until we flare up at my mil. coz she know n din tell us.
at least at IFC, i wun hav to c or hear from them. sick is no choice. now kayson kip falling sick due to them passing to him as well so does not make a diff for mi. i will juz apply for leave n inform my manager. appraisal affected oso no choice. my kids r my 1st priority. unlike tt 2 idiots!!

The most infuriating part is that the kids are already coughing and one was like sniffing in the mucus in the nose. So I told my MIL to ask them to stay away fr my bb n dun touch her. She can still tell me "No la. Where got cough? They not sick.". I told my hb next time is either they go or my baby goes. Then he ask me "Who take care?" I said of cos me la! Else? Leave the baby in my own home alone? *VERY pissed n ANGRY!*

how abt finding a nanny? i waiting for my aunt to give mi answer if she can look afta my son plus her granddaugther anot. if cannot den tmr, i gonna start looking for nanny.

juz, mabbe cos ur mil thought u alr started A on solid how come never give teether biscuit lor. Anyway, teether biscuit dun hv to be given onie when they hv teeth..it is meant to be given to them when they are abt to teeth.. anyway, sick oso dun give lar..too heaty.
emeraldbride - A doesn't look like he is abt to teeth, just more saliva only, but gums look nothing growing or nothing sore. when A learns to put his rubber teether into his mouth and when he is well, then i see how. he just start semi-solid this wk. i wanted him to slowly try all the food. he is ok w frisocrem, so will move onto another cereal. teether biscuit can always wait.

Actually we are quite forturnate to be able to transfer Bryan to the new infantcare centre. As the centre is new and there are only 4 babies (including Bryan) for the 1st month, all the babies are healthy and well + the toys are all clean and new. Now, even with an additional 2 babies, they're still in good health.
I think from my previous experiences with infantcare at the old centre where there are more mobile tots then babies, the chances of our baby getting sick is much higher.
So if relationships is failing with your other family and they're not exercising understanding for your concerns, infantcare is not bad an idea but you've to really assess the ratio of mobiles to infants and if they are indeed separated by rooms etc. Jobs market is really tight now so hang in there

How come my baby still cannot pass the 7kg mark?? He's gonna be 5months next week leh. Abit sian.. summore cannot start on cereal. Mabbe my breast milk not fatty enuf..he dun seem to grow leh. How ah?? Eat KFC everyday?

I dun think it's cos breast milk not fatty leh... Cos nutrients in BM is fairly constant. The oni diff is the type of fats-saturated & unsaturated. Eating more unhealthy stuff will cause BM to contain saturated fat. Which means no good for bb in long term bah.
Could be the amount he is drinking? I keep forgetting to ask my PD cos my PD stress that my bb is not drinking enuf... *Hmmm* My ger's weight gain initially was more than 250grms (1st mth) then it dwindled to 100grms +. The last I weigh my ger ger she oni gain 100grms+ in abt 2wks!

Actually I wan to ask my PD wat is the consequence of a low weight bb? Cos apparently the PD won't be concern as long as bb is hitting the milestones his age (e.g. muscle tone, etc).

damn moody sia... tomorrow tout have a great chance not to work tomorrow.. didnn't expected i heard from my director i need to come back tomorrow. my heart sank sia.. and i seriously keep thinking should i quit or not. Dun quit i will keep doing these OT that makes me mad and tired.. if i quit how am i going to feed my gal? haiz.. why so fan. now i only PRAY that i last min no need to come back to office TOMORROW! because its a PUBLIC holiday! company dun give me extra pay but only give me off. i rather i get OT pay man! . puiz..

i checked with my PD the day before on how much should baby Louis drinking now on his 4th month. She said per-day is 800ml - 1000ml. but since last week my boy can't drink that much.
ya, kath, don't worry on zach hitting 7kg, if he healhty, happy then should be ok.
