snowger, zach is latching 5x per day at 4hrly basis..usually no matter what time he drinks at nite he defn must drink at 11.30pm so that he can sleep through the nite..haha

juz got back from robinson's expo sale! So crowded cos alot of other exhibition going ard.. i so tired carrying zach ard using bjorn and my thigh hurts..sigh

my colleague told me to get pneumococcal coz her friend's bb died from it at 2 yrs. so poor thing. i hear already i quickly go jab my boy. anyway i am very kiasu.. i jab everything.. now thinking if there's dengue one i also wan to jab. coz i very scared of bb getting dengue.

yes its the hougang st 21 ntuc.. then confirm is ur hubby la.. with ur gerard. i think ur hubby saw me.. i was with my baby in a bjorn. im sure he will recall. but i din see u coz i was there awhile only. wanted to buy mamy poko but sold out liao. so i went off.

I think nowadays with baby being so exposed to people and crowds, just close one eye and give 4 doses of the pneumococcal injection la. Prevention is better than cure. I'm like Mayelyn ... every damn injection, I take.

i rather now baby pain for less than 1 minute than next time if choy.. anything happens, not only baby pain, i will have heart/head/wallet pain!
i seriously thinking of chicken pox vaccine, dengue, any damn jab there is for babies, i will make sure he has it as long as there is immunity.
talking abt vaccines, pls dont get the HPV vaccine. doesnt really benefit us

my boy take 5 or 6 feeds per day at 4oz each. his last feed usually at 8plus to 9pm then he will only wake up for milk at 8plus the next morning. HE is like that since 2mths+. At first 1 was worried that he dun have enough milk so i wake him up for milk but he dun wan only wan his tutu. So now i knwif he wake up is to look for his tutu so i no longer make milk for him. He do sleep well and poo once every 3 to 4 days. His poo pattern is like that b4 he sleep through also. i dunno his weight as well cos only see PD for jab in Apr.

most likely i wil take then.. infact im that kind of kiasu mum.. everything also take.. but my mum.. like tell me.. like y everything i also take.. then start to nag nag nag.. cus recently i abit thing i think my gal is not well i want to see doc.. aiyo.. why so fan one.. bb abit thing like flu or wat.. we got worried so much// haiz
wah.. damn it.. im so so so stress now!.. my left breast got a very very big lump.. i massage and pump for so long.. the lump is still there.. and no milk is out yet!!! its not so painful duno why maybe bcus im quite tired now. but then my left breast at one side is soft.. below is soft too. but another side is one hard like a rock!!! i massage and press it.. It just wont come out!! so depressing!! how ah?? and i really want to see doc to stop my milk liao! so stress to see milk is not out! sighz.. now im trying so hard to get that lump out of my breast. sighz. any idea??

My cousins's girl was ill from the virus so I'm playing on the safe side to get O immunised early. Also, Tara goes to infant care so I don't want O to catch anything from her. Its compulsory to be immunised in US. MOH reviewed it but decided not to make it compulsary

can use hot towel? Actually i also thinking of slowly stop pumping milk liao. Now i still can afford time to pump but once i go back to work i dun feel like spending too much time to pump when i get hm. Recently when i use my medela mini electic pump can only get 2oz. Then switch to avent manual get 4oz. I use my hand to pump can get 10oz. Use hand to pump is so tiring and taking too much time. when i go back to work i will reach hm only ard 715pm. If i still pump milk then i wont have much time to spend with both my boys. Therefore i feel like giving up. Find that spending time with my 2 kids are more important.

after 2hrs of pumping and massaging.. some how im able to clear my lump.. i think not only spending time with our kids is important. i think our temper wont be that hot if we stop pumping.. and we dun have to bring topid heavy pump here and there.. wah u can 715pm reach home. im even worst.. duno when i will reach home sia.. but i think i will try for 2 more months to hit 6 months.. arghx. im trying very very hard! haiz.. i just hope dun have such cases like this today. if not i sure quite right away. =( hope i still can bear 2 more months. arghz

I wonder can i tarhan till 1yr anot. btw if we are still breastfeeding we only got 20% of getting pregnant wor.. but its good to try! hehee.. you can tarhan feeding her so long! i duno can i take it anot. i already 1 week been bringing 1 brick(pump) to office cannot take it liao! haiz.. Really thinking at the end of the day who is the last woman standing here in breastfeeding her baby. Hahha i would pei fu that person!

Sigh.. i totally understand how u feel as this is wat i felt everytime.. QUIT.. cos i m so in pain n tired of the block n lump... I am also trying to persevere
I borrowed from Kath the avent manual pump. WAU LAU.. i dun know how to use it and pump out only 240ml after 2 hrs... faintz.... After tat.. then i realise the trick to use it.....Thanks to snowger to ask me to read the guidebook. But this has not clear my lump yet.. still try...
Freestyle still can help me pump out 300ml within 30mins or lesser... I think i just alternate use both at the time being to see any results.. SOB SOB...

as per polyclinic Dr's advice, we reduce each of his feed by 30ml and stretch to 2.5hr. so far still monitoring if he is ok... but he really slim down fast with this diet plan. hopefully he is slimmer by the next gathering.

juz, i find hayden very sai nai... erm.. he is sticky n fussy.. but there are ways to get ard it..coz most of the time he just wants 100% attention from me... so i cannot peep at the tv or MSN sometimes.. haha.. he also doesnt allow me to eat.. haha.. demands to be carried when i'm having my dinner.. but now thanks to bumbo, he stares at me when i eat. keke.. i think all babies are different and they are all cranky in their own ways... even the best tempered baby will be cranky 1 time or another.. oh ya.. and total breast fed babies tend to be stickier..

bubble, fabbie ah.. how often u all let baby swim huh.. i let him swim on sat and sometimes i reuse the water for a sunday swim too.. haha.. u all leh.. alot of water hor... i used the remaining water to wash my balcony n water my plants...
jo, think u shuold try pumping in the day n latching at nite.. then can bond with Ashlynne ma... i agree pumping is taking precious time away from our babies...
not to be a wet blanket la.. but hor ever since i came back to work i always get lumps n infection.. coz i no time to pump.. cant pump in the middle of a park also ma.. so its quite painful and jialat.. yesterday i gotta hold my breast when i walk down the stairs.. coz the bouncing will make the lump so painful.... jia you to all la!! =)

on ccl todae. hb has been taking d last 2 daes coz my lil jayzon got scalded by his hot porridge during dinner time on tues. heart damn pain. leg veri red n he suffered from 2nd degree burns wif blisters. sob. tink my mil oso in shock as she was d one feeding him. den ydae suddenly down wif high fever. scare his leg infected.

yipe. we rinse immediately but don seem to work tt well. i tried wif salt. works beta. hehe. thanx for d tip. btw, when u push d air vent outwards, is there like a small hole in d teat? mine seems to hav.

wif rotarix, chances of diahorea will be inevitable but at least it wun be a severe case, juz mild one. my nephew din take n had diarrhoea every mth till he 1yr old. imagine how much wt he lost!

pneunomoccal cant prevent minor flu. its more for pneunomia, mengitis, otits media. can onli try to build bu immunity by giving vits.
puree can b givne from 5-6mths onwards. juz like cereal. try not to introduce earlier dan tt age grp.

Yes! When u push the vent outwards, can see a "cut" at the centre.
Supposedly this clever little hole will let in the air to create bubbles when the bb drinks! Keep washing with soap! The performance will improve!

infact depends on each other breast de.. some breast can give out alot on manual pump.. So you decided to work and pump mah??? infact if i got lumps at home.. i dun mind.. at least got time to pump.. but if in office i think i will go mad liao.. Haiz.. i started to miss those days when im being my usual life.. sighz.. i also dun think i will be the last woman standing! but will try lor.. arghz

hi all,
its been a long long time since i last post here...have brought BB to HK for holiday & started him on his infantcare this wk...
I need help...I think my BB is experiencing seperation anxiety..
Today is his 3rd day at infant care....1st day was terrible...I put him there at 9am & pick him at abt 4..in btw I BF him during lunch time...But when we brought him home, he was "complaining & nagging" non-stop, as if "scolding" mummy & daddy for leaving him there...& totally not his usual cheerful smiling self, in fact he refuse to look at daddy & even me!!! so sad
then at home..the whole nitetime sleep routine haywire...
He used to be able to sleep on his own..ie after his bath/massage/last feed, will put him to sleep & he can sleep on his own...But now these 2 days, he kept screaming & cyring the moment we try to put him down..think he's afraid like mummy & daddy will not be ard if we put him down...
I was so so so upset after the 1st day..even wanted to stop the 2nd day...but HB says to carry on trying..2nd day yesterday was better..at least when we bring him home, he can still talk & smile at me...but same thing, cant leave him alone & when we try to get him to sleep he refuse...Obviously he's tired yesterday as he didnt nap much, but he refuse to sleep, seems scared that we will leave him after he sleep..Haiz...
Today's the 3rd day..hopefully things get better..

i just read thur the post & realise that..OMG I've been drinking coffee & drinking coke...but i nv knew that tt might affect Bb's sleep at nite....sharks! I just finsh 1 cup of kopi.. got to start cutting down...hopefully it helps to BB to learn to sleep thur...??? But with the recent change of environment (start of infant care)....I think i might take longer to get Bb to sleep...

today decided to keep Zach at home..he vomitted out the milk he drank tis morning and he coughed once or twice too.. sian ah! He seems to be very low in appetite or if not tat he could be improving his suckling technique cos onie latch for 15minutes can last him 4hrs to 4.5hrs liao and my breast became soft after tat..hmm...
Heartache to see him not much appetite n spit out milk after each feed..i wonder did they burp him after his FM feed yesterday..arrggh.. the more i tink the more i wanna resign n spend time wif him

pastels.. was it easy bringing bb to HK?? U total latch on during the trip? Was there alot of nursing room at their shopping center?
My baby is also at infantcare but so far he is okay leh his sleeping pattern still the same. I guess is cos they let him sleep most of the time thr except for feeding time. He sleep abt 5hrs between 7.30am to 3pm which I guess is enough. However, Zach is always cranky when we put him to bed at nite. He needs me to sing to him first then latch him on onie he will sleep. Hahah..he makes it his routine to have his 'supper'

u using NUK latex or silicon tits? I'm using the latex one.. also notice the cut... tot my maid spoit it.. ha ha.. so its originally there one la??
I hate the rubbery smell lei.. how?? silicon one a bit harder.. my gal will tell the diff n refuse to drink lor.. so headache.. I'm still on 50% latch n 50% bottle feed per feeding session.. so tired..

Cindy - according to Dr, obesity can start when they are babies. so anyway, the diet plan which the Dr give for this baby is 120ml water + 4 scoop powder every 2.5hr. he used to drink 150ml every 2 hr. i think the diet plan really works.
Snowger - sigh... i just wonder why that babysitter can quit coz of his 2 whole days crankiness. her own kids really that guai meh?

Ya lor.. different ppl suit different pump. I m just trying my best to see if which pump can clear breasts properly so that it will not cause lumps & blocks. Breastfeeding is very very tedious especially with all these lumps & blocks..not just not enough of zzzzzz
Tried Manual pump this morning.. realised tat it also dun empty breast tat well too .. or i still dun get the hang of it.. All are well until when breasts become soft.. no milk out yet i still felt my breasts like half full...Yet i m too lazy to use freestyle to pump out the excess ....

My BB sleep thru the night already.
Haiz.. my girl makes me & HB crazy today.. As our baby start to recognise places n ppl, we brought her back to our own home as my mum went holiday. Usually, she only be at our own home on Sat & Sunday. But last few weeks, we did not overnight..
Bcos she started to recognise place.. she need 100% of our attentions.. cannot put her down.. abit abit cry .. stare at the ceiling, pout & start cry.. think think abit also cry... I need to talk to her alot.. even nap, i cannot even leave her side cos she seem to know n will wail out loudly!!!!!!
ARGH.... very tired .. she is not like this at my mum's place..
Later going for her 2nd 6-in-1 jab.. i so scare she get even more cranky.

My ger ger dun like the latex teats mayb cos of smell n taste? My latex one went out of shape aft i sterilised it. The silicone teats are still quite soft as compared to avent or pigeon.

Maybe ur tat nanny has low tolerance for fussy baby? Some are inexperienced or just want to earn easy bucks bah. So when ur bb demands too much, they rather not take on the job n look for another baby.

phyl, the playmat tat u buy is cheaper than the one i bought hor..we bought the same one but from diff supplier. I bought fr small small world but i tink the thickness is 15mm n cost me $300 leh..
u all so lucky to have babies that sleep thru the nite........
Hayden will bathe at 8pm, drink milk part 1 at 8.30 then part 2 at 9.30 then sleep till at max 3am then i latch.. after that if I AM LUCKY, he wakes at 5-6am... if i'm UNLUCKY.. he will wake hourly after that.
