Infact im thinking if ster my bottles in office will change my load anot but i think again. Suan le. so manfan.. Now my office left 4 bottles and each time when i go office i would bring 2. So its better for me. rather than i everytime bring 6 bottles to work! haha. i bring 6 bottles bcus im scare that i may pump 3 times in office if i OT.
Yesterday first day of work okai ba.. but abit nua. Morning i at home i finish pump like 845pm at office i pump about 230pm and at night i pump like 11pm like that. Im thinking maybe i should pump in office like 3pm like that. Hmmm cus 230pm for me like abit too early. Hmm so fan.. but my supply still okai. i pump half of the bottle of pigeon i stop thats like 10oz for 15-20mins. Not emptying my whole breast. I do that only at home. this morning damn drama at Hayden's school! The lift was spoilt n then the emergency exit door was locked! we were the first there and then just waited and no one gave instructions or managed expectations.. i was fuming coz just last thurs, i was stuck in their car park in a taxi with a feverish baby n the gantry wouldnt open.. i had to call the gantry company and threaten to call the police then they opened the gantry for me...
to end the dramatic morning... it poured once i reached office! ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

thinking of getting a 2nd hand pump leh.. but then not too expensive as i know all 2nd handpump PISA is about 300+! faints.. i duno how sia. and i duno when im going to stop breastfeeding. arghz

Think my little Summer is the youngest n smallest baby at the gathering lor.. and recently keep refusing to drink milk fr the bottle.. cos she wants to latch only!! Faints!! Ytd i fought a losing battle w her.. She tong w/o milk from 10am till 6pm lor.. cos she wans only to latch!! until i surrender, bo bian give in let her latch.. she can somemore sneak a smile in between her latching.. guess she's saying " I win!!"

Hahaha summer is so cute hehe and from the photo i saw she really change alot! ehehe back to work okai lar.. abit nua lor.. now not very busy at the moment but soon it will be. I didnt really think much about my gal leh cus i think im more into work than thinking of her. Haiz. but when im back home i see her i feel so sianz.. sianz that why i cannot take care of her everyday. and i think soon i will miss her more ba. Hope she remember me and will miss me!

U drag ur pump everywhere? no wonder the bag give way!
I usually bring the Avent manual pump (it's lighter) when I go out (e.g. visits, gathering, shopping). So far I only use e manual pump at my granny's, my mum's n mil's place. Only once I used outside of my comfort zone is during the baby fair at Expo (so diff to wait for a room and I gather stares cos y the hell I need a room if I have no baby to nurse! And my right breast so shy until little milk come out...)
Where do you pump if u happen to be in a shopping centre? When you going to stop BFing?

Ur bb not that small lah. Mine is considered small ba. Not fat fat and not tall tall either!
My baby is a small drinker plus she is born small lah (2.65kg).
U will keep losing the battle until u do what phyl do! i.e. let someone else feed her bottle. Let me give u a tip on how to make her refuse to latch. Give her a teat with a faster flow (if she can cope). At least, my impatient baby prefers the bottle as it gives her milk faster than her latching (maybe my "let down" is a let down)...

fabbie, i usually pump 3 times in my office, once when i reach at 8.30am, then 1pm & b4 i go home, at 5.15pm... gotta pump in office whn i reach cause no time at hm, then after i bring bb hm, i shower, eat, play with her, then b4 i sleep, pump again...i tried different timing, this works for me...each pump about 8-10mins, plus setting up and stuff, bout 20mins in total...i intend to do it till she's 6mos...cause very siong...

I use the bag so tat I do not need to carry so many different bags. The cooler will be in the backpack. I find the bag ok lah. Just missing my handbags tt's all.

I dare not pump in toilet leh... U use batt for the PISA? I haven't tried the battery adaptor yet. Me intend to start cutting my ss when my bb hits 6months too. I will cut ss till it's equal to wat she drinks in 1 feed (yeah! no more need for milkbags!). Hopfully milk will dry when I hit 14 dec.

Btw.. ask you all. who got use medela quick clean for breastpumps and accessory wipes? so weird leh. i read it and i dun quite understand. haha mayb im topid. so i got to rinse my pump first then use the wipe to wipe my pump right? then later rinse it with water again is it? cus the wipes got abit soap leh.. anyone experience it before? hehe
I have checked with my PD and she says my gal is of average weight. Anyway, she drinks only 90ml every 3-4hours. If I try to give her more, she will try to spit the milk out or let the milk dribble out from the side of her mouth. Breastmilk very precious, cannot let her waste like that.

She drinks abt 85ml (mostly) to 115ml (v occassional). Usually, I give her 4oz each time (then she will help me waste 1oz). If I force her to finish, she oso let it dribble out fr side of mouth or making the vomit sound.

Today finally saw how the infantcare bathe Zach and today is the first time I heard Zach cry when bathing which nvr happen before. They fill up the tub wif water and they din lower him down slowly to let his feet test the water. They put him down into the tub immediately and then wash his head etc.. he got scared that's y cry! Saw it n i oso wanna cry.. really wanted to tell my hb tat i dun wanna work liao n wanna stay home to take care of him. Even when wiping his poo, they are not liek us mummies wipe slowly n carefully.. they juz wipe then turn on the shower head and wash hit butt and he got scared oso cos suddenly got water touch his skin n he oso cry! Sigh.. then i realise the teachers dun really communicate wif him..arrgghh..
kath ah.. erm.. the way the school takes care hor.. we must really close eyes la.. they are not like us coz they do this as a job and they do it everyday... they are not the parents ma... i learn to close my eyes tight tight liao... i have to live with my son lying on a rocker looking at the ceiling.. i also have to live with oily oily bottles.. i also have to live with them ignoring hayden coz he doesnt scream his head off to get attention from the teachers.... i saw them picking up a pacifier from the floor n sticking it into a child's mouth without washing it first.. i also saw the teacher open the door n a mobile baby kena whack in the face coz the teacher nv see her.. i also saw a baby climb the bookshelf and the teacher din see..... so we must learn to be blind....

Wow, infant care sounds scary! Btw, even if the child is taken care by your own mother/mil oso hv to turn a blind eye. Cos there are bound to be differences.

I oso paranoid by my ger's weight. Esp when I see chubby babies her age n hear pple comment "wah, your baby just born uh?". Tat day my parents just ask me to give my bb formula cos they think breast milk got no substance! :'( They retracted their statement aft seeing my bb recently... Sigh sigh...

1st day for A to be in IFC. I was there around 2hr+, principal tell me all rules n regulations. anyway, it's so funny... the principal asked not for the baby not to sleep on pillow, not to drink any sweet drinks & in future not to take any food with colouring (eg. vitagen, sweets); teacher said will train him to go zzz w/o pacifier. i think our baby will be commando style trained.
actually a bit upset. there's a 16mth old gal at IFC and she is even smaller size than A.
btw, that day at snowger's house, there's a short-hair mum who came for awhile and left. who is she?

Ivy - haha, thanks, we communicate over sms. my mil bought a maclaren daytripper at less than $100 at taka for A. Heard from her that need to get head support as it is meant more for 6mths onwards. although it's 3.8kg, heard that it can carry up to 25kg.
mayelynn - i used to call him king kong, but other mums told me don't call him that. but his growth is not that rapid anymore, so i don't call him king kong anymore. Anyway, he got many nicknames - piglet, small brownie, ambrozee, apazee, etc etc
ypg - the PD's clinic is right next to polyclinic. and polyclinic can get cheaper jab. i didn't get to be ard the sick pple. at the ticket kiosk, they send me straight to rm 15-17 for the jab, then send me to Dr for assessments. all ard me are mummies n babies. My colleague got big eyes which can melt guy's heart. that's why. Ambrose's eyes and lips starts to look more like mine... the rest still look like father's. i don't know if he is cranky today, coz i haven't fetch him from IFC.

A's bones are not v heavy, which means the rest are fats. H is fairer than A. anyway, yes we can arrange for a meeting up. weekend is better.

fabbie, i oso got the wipes, jus open & oso find it very soapy leh, the instruction is to jus wipe, dun hv to rinse... think the soapy feeling will disappear after a while... but i nvr use to wipe my pump parts... usually i use and keep in a zip lock bag in my office fridge, then rinse with water b4 i go home.. when i am outside, i oso oni rinse with water and use again... thinks its ok cause my other coll. oso does that... i oso got the microwave bag but very leh jay leh...

i also got the mircowave bag. i got 1.. and i scare i blow up my company mircowave thats why no need! Oh so meaning once i pump finish i rinse my pump in a container and then i put it in the frigde(not freezer)? then when i want to pump again i take it out and rinse with water then i use it huh. is it?
I cannot be taking degent to office. my toliet is public de. hahah and it look so topid if im taking a bucket. hahah

Hayden's head is also 41cm... he is 61cm though and his weight is 7.5kg at 3mths 5 days old... maybe he got heavier bones... haha... Hayden has a big big tummy.. esp round after a full feed... hmm.. you colleagues says big eyes can melt a guy's heart?? but ambrose is a boy!! hahaha... the korean pop star rain can melt my heart.. haha.. i think hayden's eyes are smaller than ambrose's eyes.. cool cool.. we'll meet up one weekend ya!!
