Formula Milk
Jolynash's colleague is able to get similac stage 1 at a price of $36 per tin direct fr supplier. Similar Stage 2 per tin (1.8KG) at $66. As for Enfalac A+ & Enfapro the price will b $31 each. The supplier will increase the price of Enfalac fr $1-3 starting next month. The promotion is till end of this month. The supplier will not take in orders fr mid Apr to May. If u r interested pls email her at [email protected]. For those who had ordered fr her and r going to the gathering on 14 Mar, she'll deliver your order on that day at Snowger's pl.

Pumping duration
I didn't know that cannot pump more than 15 mins. I pump each side half an hr leh. Cos my pump will stop after half an hr. Sometimes still got milk, i'll continue to pump after half an hr wor. So far i pump every 6 hourly. But if happened that bb wakes up, i'll latch her on then after that pump again to empty my breasts.

Ya, i think i already become like one now. Dun even bother to dress up, apply lipstick and wear earrings when going out with hubby, bb & maid over the weekends. Cos scare earrings will scratch bb etc. Somemore now i'm a SAHM even worst lah. Think i better start looking for a job liao.

Relationship with hubby
I ever sarcastically told my hubby that now i'm no.3 in this heart liao. Last time no.2 cos soccer comes first mah. Now with bb becomes last position. Then he reassure me bb & me is no.1 in his heart. Think sometimes gotta "remind" our men how we feel. Haiz..

the snuffle babe not all Guardian pharmacies have it. I bought mine at the airport quite a while back ... maybe u can try the Guardian pharmacies in town when you're there shopping around

Jo: No lah, not in govt sector... but I compromise by going back to work early (2.5 months only). And I try to cover my work from home as much as possible when I was on leave. So must give and take mah. :p

Relationship: hb and I try to have dinner together before picking baby up after work... try to keep the fire alive. Hee.
 
Complaining abt hubby
haha, seems like very common... my hubby too, sometimes i will expect him to giv me a little help during weekend so i can relax a bit but no lor... after bfast he will juz leave everything on table then go & read his paper & watching news, this really make me mad & sometimes i will juz scream at him & told him... 'ok, i dun expect u to help me do housework but at least u dun mess the house, I'M NOT UR MAID!!!!' really angry...

now i'm back in penang, at my mum;s place... at least my mum or my sis can help me to look after Daniell... it's really good to hav own mum beside, more relax now... hehe

u r no.3 in ur hubby's heart but i'm no.4 lor.. everytime when he called back from office, the first thing he will ask is 'how's children?' & never ask how am i or hav i eaten lor... sigh

i am one of the mummy who keep pumping milk. I dun latch my boy now. Only latch him during the 1st mth. Then all the way pump liao. I do still have nipple sore. I pump abt 4x per day. Milk will vaires from 240ml to 320ml each pump.

I also thinking going back office how to pump?
Even luch time dun think have place for me to pump also.

Complaining abt hubby.

i already give up on that. My hubby didnt help when i give birth to No 1 also. Dun say now is No 2. Sigh wat to do he is been pampered by his mum.
 
Pumping milk:
now everyone can come into my rm while i pump milk except my FIL lar. My boy, hubby, MIL and SIL any time will come into my rm even when i close my and pump milk. Wat to do? Now i also use to it liao

well my hubbie more power. he's doing sales.. so when he's free he will come home. so he come home to wake up my gal. and then play on the computer! and i got to feed my gal.. change pampers when he playing computer. its like he come back just to make me headache only! faints..

no lump lei. maybe i pump too long. i dun have a fix time to pump one. When i feel pain then i pump. Sometime is 6 hrs sometimeis 9hrs loh. So i pump mostly 3x per day.

My office there have meeting rm but always occuiped one. Even during lunch time. Sian.

I was just at Tangs on Sat. 12% rebate not that much far off from my 10% rebate on other days .. there's not much selling at Tangs leh .. I went there end up buying Crayola washable markers for my girl .. hope you guys have more success at finding things to buy there tomorrow .. lol.

my server rm have cctv one lei. For meeting rm is glass window so i dunno am i will comfortable to pump there. I pump for ard 30 mins ba. Sometime take 45mins.

no need liao im not going. my gal to day siao charbo one make me mad! so so so piss with her. I was pumping just now. i tired to pump for 15 mins rather than 30 mins as usual. and she was yelling here and there. cus of that i got to stop.. pump.. stop.. pump to attend to her. Imagine my that 15 mins is like hell! nvm. i finish pumping i carry her up. she started LAFF and giggle!! wah lau !@#$% nvm. i try to pat her to sleep dun wan. i play with her.. she cry and laff for damn 2hrs! i canont take it i force her sleep by carrying her and pat her to sleep trying hard to make her sleep. and finally now she's DEEP in lala land liao. wah so damn tiring. i cannot imagine what will happen if tmw im out!

cannot the cctv is recorded for security puropse. I work in statu board. This is not the 1st time liao. Cos for my No 1 i stop breastfeeding after 3mths cos i only have 3 mths ML. I will try to see can i use the meeting rm anot during lunch loh. I can only pump once lar. So now i trying to trick my breast like pumping at 7am then 730pm see in between can dun pump anot. If cant then i will have to use the meeting rm and tape the glass window loh.

My No 1 is now in CC so i am worried abt the virus he take hm. So i hope to give my baby at least 6 mths BM to built up his immue system loh.
 
Baby Refusing bottle again! I am totally stressed up now. MIL keep asking me how like that.. coz she is going to look after my baby when i go back to work. She is more worried than me!

Took Snowger advice and gave baby NUK bottle. Baby explored for a few mins and later bawl out loud again realising that it was not my nipple. I also realised i cannot pump alot of milk as well. I only manage to do a pathetic 2oz. How how how.. I am so stressed now.

last time my boy also reject bottle (was using Avent) then i changed him to NUK slim bottle & he is alright with that... even though i feed him once a while only (latch on most of the times) he still ok.... i also bought the NUK premuim bottle for him but he rejects as well, he can only accept the slim bottle...

same here..my breast like everyone in the house saw already..Maid, MIL, Confinement nanny, hubby, friend haha..alamak...coz my pump room door the lock spoil n ppl just come in lor. BUT BUT HOR I that time really feel my MIL very insensitive..keep looking at my breast n then comment "wahhhh how come nipple so big n long" during my pumping session..then keep see see look look till I give her the pissed off look. She very Suaku leh..she also never breastfeed her son last time..

reading abt you ladies' complains, i feel that i'm very fortunate. my husband cleans up after himself and doesn't need to be served. he helps with the boys too when he can. the only thing with him is that his patience can run out fast so if #1 whines too much, father will snap. but good also la....instil fear in the sons.. keke...

BUT my hb is the very hands-on type. he bathes both my girl and boy, changes diapers, feeds them and helps out with washing bottles even. so i think i'm lucky even though i'm no. 4... =p
 
lol. I hope you find it at Guardian ... I think not all Guardian Pharmacies carry it .. hopefully, it's not cos they've also stopped carrying it?

Phyl couldn't find it ... and the last time I bought mine was quite a while back ...

Merydith: Those white spot on the gums are caused by "heatiness". My baby got it too. What i do is to feed her small amount of water daily by spoon. It should go away soon. If prob persists, u can go to the chinese medical hall and ask for the " Three Rifle" brand mouth rinse for baby. Its for cleaning baby's gum. Most medical hall should carry this. It helps to cool and soothe the gum area.

mummies whose babies are now sleeping thru the night, can i check if your babies sleep very little in the day? i desperately need a proper sleep... mine's still waking up once every 2-3 hours. the longest is 4 hrs (when he knocks out at about 9pm, he can sleep til 1 or 2am. then after that it's 4 or 5am, then fidget until 7am). haiz.

my boy sleeps little in the day doesnt mean he will sleep longer at nite, last time my boy also like urs which he will wake up every 2-3hrs for milk, but few weeks ago i can't take it anymore & decided to train him sleeping longer... i start by dragging his feeding hrs, at first 4hrs.. mean if he wake up within 4hrs timeframe, i will giv water / pacifier only, of coz he didnt want, so i let him cry.. so long as he never cry his lung out then i'll let him be... then slowly increase the feeding hrs to maybe 5hrs & so on... now he can sleep longer hrs already, even though sometimes he still wake up once in the middle of the nite, but then he will juz eh eh eh then fall back to sleep again... *peace*

Ok la, i need to return some justices to my HB la.. He did all the housework in the house.. I dun ever since i m pregnant till today.. he bathe my girl, change her diapers, carry her to sleep N buy all the groceries etc BUT ONLY ON WEEKENDS.. Weekdays, its all me...

I am angry with him cos lately, he got hooked on his new iphone.. once back to work, also keep on playing with his new iphone n neglected me.. He only want baby ...N the day b4 when i m in pain and need to go KKH clinic.. he rather wait in car for me to play iphone.. THAT's WHY I M SO ANGRY... I dun need a driver just to the clinic.. a taxi driver can also do that.. i need a supporter lor...Suddenly become last in his heart..

My baby still sleep in the day, N awake for 2-3 hours interval in a day, n doze back to sleep for another 1hr plus n wake up again..These pattern for her are in the day.. At night, she will zzz from 10:30pm, wake up for feed at 1am.. then zzzz till 8am or even 9am. I am not sure if the last feed at 1am , actually helps her to sleep thru.

Initially, she woke up every 3hrs for feed.. gradually the hours prolong n wean off herself. What i did is.. as long as she dun wake up herself for feed.. i will not drag her up to drink milk.. just let her sleep. Its become a habit if we continue to drag her up to feed at night. Not sure if this works for other babies

Oh yes, initially she started to sleep till 5am only ( this is b4 she can zzz till 8am) , i stuff her a pacifer n she doze back...

wahhh your hubbie so bad! if its me i sure scream at his ears liao. Mine dun bath for my gal..he only change diapers for her, wipe face for her, feed her, play with her(all is when i ask him to do) he wont use initiative to do his own de..Im just tired to order him do this and that. -___- if i dun ask him to do theses he will sit on the computer playing his games or just sleep. Only Once in a blue moon will say "want me to help you wash bottles?" lol

i also want to complain. my hubby dun bathe my boy, even i dun dare to bathe my boy leh, all the while my mum bathe him. my hubby also dun make milk, change diapers for him. got 1 incident when we are outside, i ask my hubby to make milk then he so gan cheong, he pour in the milk powder then pour water. then i scolded him, ever since from that incident he got excuse say he dun know how to make milk liao.... change diapers also, so slow motion dun baby get frustrated and cry so loud. also after that, he say he dun know how to change diapers cos scare baby not happy. the only thing he knows is to play with baby. haiz...

y'day my boy woke up at 1.30am, 4am, 5.30am... so tired... he will suckle then fall asleep. try waking up him to drink more he won't. but the moment i put him down he will eh eh very loudly and want to drink! so this keeps going on and on... i try to drag his time but he will get very loud then i've to give up cos dun wan to wake my girl up... haiz, really hope he will stop waking up for feeds. going to try giving formula again soon!!!

Haiz.. my HB will do all things for baby... but for wife..seem like i become last priority leh.. But after scolding for tat day... he seem better.. hahaha... once awhile must " remind" him... But i also at fault.. cos i m in bad mood.. abit abit also nag n scold him.. think he also sianz..

my gal sleeps through the night, usually between 9-12hrs slp, but during the day does not sleep much, 1.5hrs of combined naps tops. So I'm very well rested but will be playing and chatting with her all day. She will sleep in the stroller if I take her out to the mall or to the park for a walk.

she is now 3m 1w
 
ALAMAK. I must take my blardy Golden to the vet cos she seems to be having an eye infection of some sort ... now I'm using my damn old Medela Mini Electric to pump out some milk for my girl IN CASE she cries while I'm out ...

dammit .. I just fed her an hour ago .. so not much leh ... 10 min of pumping only 2oz. haiyo.

I really take my hat off to you mummies who are pumping exclusively ... really not easy .. so sian sittin down to pump.

I feed my baby with Evenflo bottle just now - FAILED ATTEMPT! Aaaargh.. baby cry like mad. I am returning to work in another month's time! Hope baby can quickly adapt and do the switch!

Sighzz..I have a full range of Avent bottles and few NUK slim bottles and some Evenflo bottles too.. so many bottles, i really cannot believe it.
 
chantelle.. u buy every brand ah??? eh.. that time hayden also like that.. then the teacher told me they will eventually suck when they are hungry.. coz even if you buy everything, she will still reject coz all she wants is your nipple. so the teacher advised me to drag the feed to later.. meaning try 1st attempt dun want then try again 15mins later.. but try when she not screaming.. =)

the other method i try is i latch him then i pull out my nipple then shove the bottle in... worked too... but have to make sure the bottle flows b4 got chance to scream. keke... thats how i outsmart my monster!
 
I oso use the method that phyl mention. Whenever Zach rejects bottle, i will take it out and tell him, since u dun want, u go hungry first. Mummy let him cry until he stop.. if he is hungry enough, he will take the bottle. No choice mah.. so far it works..

No need to buy the premium bottle la... Like that ur pocket "pi-jia". I personally dun see a difference between the slim n premium NUK bottles... I like Phyl's method!

Actually when ur MIL feed, u also present uh? If so, then reminds me of when I was trying to breastfeed and the baby's bottle feeder is present... (n I failed to get her to latch for long!)

Forgot to add previously that i did not purposely buy different brands of bottles to let baby try. I oni bought my prefered brand - NUK, the avent was a freebie fr my antenatal class, the pigeon bottles were free gifts when i bought the steriliser... :p
