i din post for sometime. Very stress up and i m also looking after the baby alone especially at nite.. Bcos of my previous incident which i mentioned a few days ago. Finally stop all the nonsense today. I gave in..
Baby will have to shave all her hair n eyebrow off b4 i can return to my own home, as mentioned to be all " cleansed". I very very very heartpain.

the shop name is fu kwee siang! It is near the cc...got sell bak gua! I just stock up my boi fm, 10tins of dulax under dumex at 9.80! Cheaper than ntuc by 2bucks! Tks iemik0! Abt gripewater, i am giving my boi, abt 1 teaspoon to 70ml water once a day.

wow so so many mths liao still like that? My boy at the 1st mth was like dun wan to go school once start to head for the school direction he will cry. Lucky that last like 1wk. and the teacher say he cry for like 0.5hr for the few 2 days then cry for 5mins from 3 day. Now is hard to wake him out. Other than that he is ok to go school.

im thinking so many of us is interested echo/mimi intro the kellysjyphotography could we like gather how many mummies are interested then we ask the photographer can charge us at 2008 rate? rather than now the 2009 rate so expensive wor. HMm just a suggestion lar. hhehe

My mum also shave off my daughter eyebrow. But now her eyebrow look much better than b4. So maybe this is the reason they want to shave it. Just like our own hairs. Once u cut it, they grow back much better. But of course, u r the mummy, u decide.

fabbie, good idea on asking kelly to charge us a cheaper rate is more mummies is keen. But must all of us congregate at a place then onie will be cheaper?
Jowinbaby, can I ask what does this phlegm vomit look like? My baby spits up all sorts of stuff, sometimes he vomits so violently the milk comes through his nose. So heartpain. PD said his vomitting is due to air in his tummy.
2nd Baby, my mum didn't shave my hair and eyebrows when I was a baby because it took my sister a full year to grow her hair back! All my hair remained intact until today - no patches!
Burping: I can't burp my baby too. He also falls asleep nursing. My hb on the other hand, is very good with burping. He seemed to be able to get very good burps out from David... so we just do a major burping exercise every night when hb comes back from work.

ya i oso heard baby's hair will drop as in patches after 4mths... anyway i got shave my boy's hair but not bcoz of that reason, but his hair is too little liao (like my#1) so might as well shave & let his hair re-grow again...

my boy is turning 1 mth next wk and he poos almost after every feed! i bf him during day and supplement with fm in the night. wonder if it's "normal"... can't remember if my #1 was pooing so frequently...

My #1 is born in Dec 05. So both my children are Dec kids.
My elder gal is very shy, so I started to send her for ‘socializing’ at weekly enrichment class at 18mths. When she went to playgroup at 2 yrs old, she’s okie & didn’t cry. I only accompany her during the 1st day, then subsequently she’s on her own
Btw my gynae also increased her antenatal pkg by $200. Inflation mah.. everything increase price.
Re: milk reflux
I forgot to ask PD the cause of reflux. PD advised not to put bb lying down flat soon after drinking milk/burping. Instead hold bb upright for abt 15mins to ensure the milk has flowed down into stomach.

her vomit contain phlegm and also white watery milk. I read the book and realise that its normal.The phlegm is caused by the daily mucus that the baby produced. Unless the phlegm comes with cough.. then have to see doc already.
So its actually good tat when baby vomit, the phlegm comes out with the milk as well.

Yes, its her idea. I m already very heartpain & sad abt it.. HB have not even agree to it, though i know she sure HAVE TO SHAVE as we gave in just to convenient my own mum, not MIL. She dun need to travel daily to & forth my house. I can go back to my own mum house to stay liao...I know this sound ridiculous but its like tat lor.. i really sianz...

when i was wrapping her she cry. after i wrap finish she kept quiet. she seems to be okai ah. when i took off her swaddle usually i can feel she's hot but she didnt complaint or cry. if she does feel irritating she wil just to find her ways to get her hands out of the cloth.

What's with CL & their magic touch that bb settles almost immediately once they take over har??? Isit their smell or what? I'm beginning to have fear of incapable to cope when CL is gone.
Nite feeds will be most jialat for me. I'm dead as a log and all these while have been relying on my CL to bottle feed bb. Jialat liao lah....T__T

morning ladies,
so tired today, my boy woke up so many times last nite & refused to sleep after the feeding at 2am, & in fact he was not hungry coz he juz had his milk around 1am but hubby said he dun hav enough tat's y he woke up, but when i fed him EBM he only drank 1.5oz, after tat his eyes so big & dun wan to sleep till 5am... then 6.30am he woke up again !!!!! my boy at 1st few wks quite ok one, nitetime after feeding he will guai guai go back to sleep by his own, now like getting worse, after feeding then got to carry / pat him to sleep...
btw, how u keep ur baby awake during daytime? wat u will do with him/her? play and talk? hav u set a daytime routine for them? like wat time to take nap??
one more thing... i know TBF baby will poo a lot, but till when? so long as they r on BM?? reason asking coz my boy until now still poo many times a day & he could use up 10pcs of diaper a day ler... my mamypoko jumbo 72pcs use up soon juz a bit more than a week... shiong ah!!

ikeike, i guess its their calming voice n touch. Alot of ppl say CL's are very 'zai' which means their heartbeat are very constant, so bb feel more secure each time they are being carried. Unlike us, sometiems when bb cry, we will be abit flustered, and bb can feel it when we carry them. Exampl, when i first bathe my baby 2 days ago, he can sense that i m nervous, he clench his fist so tightly and he make himself so stiff. He's afraid that i may drop him..haha. But next day, he is okay liao..can kick water.
Jes, bb's pattern is different everyday. today he may not sleep alot at nite, tmr will be different. My boy did not sleep alot during the day time for the past few days but yesterday he slept after each feeding. So no 2 days of bb behaviour is the same. Y don't u use napkin in the day time? Save alot leh. My boy is using napkin in the day time and diapers at nite..i alr feel the pinch cos 1 nite he can change abt 2-3 diapers..after mamy poko i may switch to nepia to try out..

Jes...i am also tired today...I carry my boi to sleep today..i did not realised i was carrying him till my mum wake me up today..he was sleeping soundly on my chest..the last feeding at 5.45am..n he did not want to sleep..but the problem is ytd afternoon he did not sleep much..n dunno why he did not want to sleep this morning! End up..i sing song..till i fall asleep..

I am using leftover pampers from my hb's friend who pass to us..but like not v good leh..i also got huggies ultra but i find it too bulky..any good diapers ard? Wanted to buy Nepia during NTUC promotion last week..but hb go too late..the staffs say usually these kind of promotions only last for 3-4 days..

napkin? lazy la coz got to soak before wash esp my boy's poo so yellowish if never handwash sure got stain... now i got no helper so dun wan to add on my burden...already got a lot of laudry to do coz my hubby & #1 like to change their clothes a lot... wat i do is place a nappy liner on the diaper, if baby happen to poo after change at least i can juz change away the liner & use back the same diaper coz still new mah, of coz if the diaper is beyond 'rescue' already then i juz change another new one lor...

Jess, my David also uses A Lot A LOT of diapers every day. He particularly likes to poop a few minutes after I change him. (-_-") My mother says I've spoiled the baby. She used to train us by sitting us on the potty each morning when we were babies, and we learned to poop only when we are seated on the potty... of course, to do this, you also need the SPECIAL skill of being able to tell that baby is going to poop by his/her expression... Both my mum and MIL have this special skill. I have none. So I change diapers loh.
BTW, my baby has finally taken to the sarong! I try not to "shake" the sarong at all, just put baby in when he is drowsy. He can sleep for a long time in it leh! Wahaha....Happy...

i know nappy less shiong on pocket but shiong to me ler coz more laudry need to do.... hehe! my hubby asked if i need a maid or not coz a lot of his fren commented that it's not possible for a mummy to take care 2 kids alone... but i dun wan coz 1). no privacy 2).lots of problem 3).eco is bad & i dun wan to add on hubby's burden coz already not working... think i will only agree to get one if really really really boh bian...

btw, my baby poo in the water when i bathed him yesterday, & the whole tub is fully of yellowish shit... yuck! this morning he poo on the changing mat when i juz removed his diaper... arghh.. every morning made me so boh eng...

Not sure NTUC have S size anot. I always see from M size onwards. I have been trying out many brands of diapers. So far, i dun like Fit Fit, Huggies, Dryers, Goon all easily leak. Still prefer on Pampers Dry Comfort( Green n red packing) and Nepia. Mamy Poko, i use it at nite.. but no difference leh. Nepia can also use at nite...
However i think it works on different baby.

same la.. hahaha... i sing songs n pat baby and let her lie on my chest to sleep... then i fell asleep with her.. until my HB woke me up and put baby back to cot.. haha!!! Baby like such position to sleep as they can hear our heartbeat.. ( very familiar to them) and comfort lor. I felt very very bond to baby when carrying her to sleep with this position too...

not sure the cutting is big or small ler coz i'm now using mamy poko S for my boy & i find it juz nice... used huggies ultra b4 but the cutting so mall... if nepia cutting smaller then i wont consider ler

Kath, u using nappies for ur boi? Do you still swaddle him? I mean the lower part of the body? I am still swaddling him..except for his hand..n i have remove mittens liao..as i read that mitten will restrain his reflex ..i wonder if swaddling his lower part ok a not?

can use soft brush to brush it off. for mi, i use gauze n its a lil bit rough so it will come off. hehe. smmore my boi now botak. easy to clean. lol.

i use ntuc diapers for my boi. M size is from 5kg onwards. since we change so frequently, no pt get ver igood diapers. onli when i bring my boi go gai gai den i use nepia or mamy poko. less siong on d pocket. ntuc diapers oso got promo every 2-3wks. veri cheap. =)

I dunno what happen to my boi..these 2 days..getting more difficult to take care..make my parent worried for me when i move back home this sat...now they are asking me dun go back home..sian..
