spag, i also cannot fit into my pre-preg pants cos the hip cannot pull up! Those that can be pulled up cannot be buttoned or zipped! Hahaha.. except one pants from Mmphosis which can stil be worn cos it is elastic one lor..keke..pathetic. Hv to spend alot of $$ to buy workign clothes again.
 


adel, i understand how u feel. Sometimes dun understand y cl are all like tat. My CL got 4 more days left. Today she actually brought in the ikea changing mat to be placed on her bed and she sleep beside my son. These few days my son can start recognising objects and can follow us ard..so i m afraid if he see too much of her now, when she leaves on sunday i will hv a hard time taking care of him leh.. sian..

At least he willing to sleep. Regarding white elephant, I also got quite a few white elephants at home too.

My daughter used to love her rocker. Now she outgrow it liao. Since she know how to flip, she now will try to flip herself out of the rocker. We worried sick so now dun put her in rocker liao.

I happy that my baby know how to flip so early. But also worried she will be suffocated. Sighs... Guess a mother worries is never-ending.

Dun worry. U may have a difficult period at 1st after ur CL left. But it will be over quite fast cause after she left, ur son will be with u 24 hours. U can bond with him very well then. Babies are very smart. They can recognise their mummy from CL.
 
my CL will be leaving tml, well, im left on my own (yes, truly madly alone). my MIL as mentioned before, will be pre-occupied with her 2 granddaughters, my own mum is dead and my HB is on reservist (starting tml, cud not start on a better timing!). hope i can keep my sanity till Sat when my HB can finally spend a whole day with me and Kasia.

recently, Kasia oso becum fussy in pm, wonder y... her acne is also getting worse today, can see small spots raising out from her forehead and some new ones on her cheeks. AH.. guess i just have to clean her face with water and change her mittens more often. really wonder y BBs love to touch their faces.

haha... mebbe dats the diff b/w having a BB boy n gal ba. i feel so heart pain when i see Kasia cry. Kasia usually dun cry unless:
1) she WaN milk
2) she wet or soil her diapers
3) she has too much wind in her tummy, which eventually leads to her viomitting some milk
4) her back is too hot
5) she is startled by her dream
(which i try to pat and sing her back to sleep, if not i will try to carry her for a while)

im actually dying to carry her at times, but i dread the thot of her seeing it as a habit. if dats the case, i jia lat liao cos dat wud mean i need not do anything liao (eat, drink, go toilet or bath). but like wat fabbie said a few weeks ago, the more we luk at our BB, the more we luv them (either by looking or carrying them)! hahaha... i think im developing the "proud mother hen syndrome, HELP! ;D
 
Carmen - well, ambrose also don't cry unless for the same reasons as well & of coz for additional reason will be colic or whatever wind. but i tend to finish up some stuff before attending to him. eg. I just started bathing n he also started crying. haiz, if i just spend my time entertaining him, there will be a lot of stuff i won't be able to complete (eg. wash/sterilise bottles, boil water, laundry). anyway, mine also acne is worse, but i usually still change mittens once a day. ;P. he enjoys wiping milk off his mouth w mittens & rub his face next...

hahah yeah! now once i see my gal my lips will be like super glue.. glued on her face! haha i cant stop staring at her.. i wonder when i go work i would miss her so much... how i wish i can dun work n accompany her 24hrs!

carmen...same here..will be taking care gerard myself nxt wk..cos i am gog bk to my own place! Actually, i am taking care gerard myself even at my parent place...only different is when i am taking afternoon nap or carry till sian, my parents will help out. Now my parents r worried i cannot handle myself..but at least, i dun need to worry abt lunch, cos hb say he will taobao lunch 4 me..keke...i missed my hm!
 
i guess all the mummies here are experiencing separation anxiety! Hahaha..me no different as well.

Each time i go out, more than hour liao i will be tellng hb i wanna go home cos i miss my baby..n if i m too far to go home in time, iwill hv a gloomy face. Even i got appt nowadays oso i will turn it down cos i wanna b with my baby whole day even when he is sleeping, at least i know i m beside him..hehe

is latch on the oni method to help contract womb? i realize oni the 1st 2 days when i latch bb in the hospital, i have this cramp cramp feeling.. gynae told me is the womb contracting. but I dun feel that after i do total EBM.. oh no...

I got shots taken of Emma when she was just one month - you can see them on my Facebook. The photographer will come to your house and spend about 2-3 hours to shoot. I think if you mention me or Mimi as a referral, might be able to get a bit of discount.

i have been drinking alot of reddates drink, milo. Fish i eat till sian already as for soup my MIL seldom cook soup just once in 2 or 3 days loh. That why i dunno wan to try fenugreek anot. If that can help to increase the supply will be good. Currently i am pumping between 160ml to 240ml.

Feel that my 1st kid my suppky is better. And that time i didnt really do much things lei. And every time can have 240 to 300ml of milk. Now like cant reach that amt anymore.

i tried take fenugreek on n off onli. coz easily engorged when i take it.

same my CL also leaving tom le...then it will be me & baby.. these few days have been trying to "take over" taking care of BB fm CL...I try not to go to bb immediately when he cries, but my CL likes to go immediately...

Yesterday not much time to login to post..practicaly spend whole day carrying bb!!!! he wants to be caried to sleep...die liao...

Then my CL kept saying, cannot let BB used to being carried, put him down quitely after he sleeps..but then hor! she's the one who always carry my Bb boy! sometimes i delay awhile when bb cry before carrying him, then my CL will come over & carry him.....

anyway, i'm seriously thinking of getting a sling to "wear" my BB. Anyway has used a sling to wear ur bb? I've read the good benefits of it but HB not agreeable as he feels BB will next time always want to be carried...
But my argument is, in any case, BB also wants to be carried now already. Getting a sling is to make it easier so I got "free hands" to do things...
any advise?
Phyl is ur pupsik sling good? something like the hotsling type without the need to adjust rite?
MIM slings need to adjust kind & looks complicated to use..Pupsik & Hotsling looks easier..

yeah lor pre-pregnancy pants / shorts all cant fit in liao..last wk I went to grab 3 shorts when I went out to do facial..haiz..so demoralising..

pastillies, i hv a pupsik sling n tinking of selling it. Never used before.. i sellng it cos i tried it on my son, he dun like it leh..he kept eh eh eh inside the sling..and he make himself till so stiff when he is in the sling..hahaha. Let me know if u want it, i got it at a discount when i purchased the beansprout pillow from Pupsik.

Dun worry, they will bring everything - props, backdrop, everything. My pics were taken at home, but also look like it was in studio. Hehe.. Kelly, the photographer is very sweet and very patient. When she came to my place, Emma was super fussy. I couldn't get her to latch before so she was hungry and crying and tired but cannot sleep. In the end, had to interrupt the shoot to feed her. But Kelly and her assistant (who is actually her boyfriend) were very patient in waiting for Emma to finish eating and calm down before continuing with the shoot. I've PMed you both with the details of the prices. But that was last year's rates; she may have increased prices for this year, so better to email her to get a quote.

I also use the Pupsik sling. I find it very useful! When my girl is fussing or crying, she usually calms down quite quickly after we put her in. Very good also for bringing her out if you don't want to lug a stroller along. And I love the hands-free function. Can put her in the sling and surf web at the same time. Hehe.. My hb even better, can wear baby in the sling and play PS3. Very convenient! hehe..

my MIL is the same as your CL. Say dun carry bb too much. End up she carry him most.

As for the hips. I didnt get abck to my pre-pregancy size after my 1st baby. Now worse 2nd bb liao my butt look so big. My MIL just commented my butt are very big now.

yeah i still hav to pay $3K plus after the medisave deduction (delivery $1350 + ante-natal $450), & not include ante-natal package of coz... i almost faint when i see the bill coz 3yrs back when i delivered my #1 (in same hospital same gynae) i only paid $1K plus after deduction... main contribution came from my gynae delivery fee lor which itself already $ 2.8K... really sweat man!!!

i hav PUPSIK pouch too, bought size3 b4 give birth but later found too loose, then sent back for exchange to size2 but now find it a bit tight !!! yest tried on my boy & he was like so 'suqeezy' inside there & starred at me... dunno if my boobs too big or tummy too big laa... wahaha! in the end i gave up & change to baby carrier which he was so comfy & slept thru w/o complaint when i was outside! now the pupsik pouch become white elephant liao, dunno wat to do also... argh!

look after baby alone
today is officially my boy's one mth... my mum finally went back to penang & today is the 1st day i gotta look after my boy alone... heng my #1 finally recovered from virus attack & gone back to nursery else i will die manz looking after 2 w/o helper coz my #1 is so active & noisy while at home... haiz, how i wish my MIL still alive & helping me...

btw, my boy vommitted juz now (1st time) & he was not only vommitting out the milk (which i tot it supposed to be) but something like phlegm as well... anyone's bb experiencing the same too?

Now when my #1 in nursery i also very happy if not at hm so noisy. How old is your #1?

I have a weird observation... I got some blocked ducts under my left armpit some time ago. Today I realised that the armpit dun grow hair anymore. Hmm...was that too much information? :p

Little David just had his first 6-in-1 dose and his Rotavirus vaccination today. Now a little lethargic. Lucky the pedia was very gentle with him. But he still cried when she administered the jab...*heartpain*.

my bb also vomitted milk & phlegm a few times. PD says it's milk reflux. PD prescribed some med for reducing acidity in stomach & says giving gripe water helps.

The $1K+ for your #1 delivery is also for natural with epi, 2 bedded? Your #1 is boy or girl? My hospital bill for #1 & #2 not alot of difference. I also delivered my #1 3 yrs ago.

i oso wonder why such a young bb will hav phlegm, is it normal? but din hear he cough ler... quite worry ler coz last week me & my #1 felt sick so scared we pass the virus to him...

btw, my #1 is turning 4 coming this apr, he went playgroup last yr & juz started his nursery last mth, he has very serious separation anxiety ler, i'm having hard time every morning to send him to school... headache!!

my #1 is boy, #2 also same... so ur #1 also born in year 2005? and ya my previous delivery oso natural w epi, 2 bedded... actually everything is exactly the same so at first i tot the bill size will be not much diff lor but end up so much diff... my gynae always increase the price one ler... tsk!!

1 also have 2 boys. #1 born in yr 2006. So coming feb turing 3yrs old. Now in pre-nursery class. We start sending him to toddler class last sept. We start with 2 mth half day. in Nov we convert him to full day. For the 1at mth is terrible. Now ok liao.

your boy attend class for how long already still having hard time to send him to school? For me is everyday have hard time waking my boy up..haha

my girl's appt is for the 1st injection .. the one done at 4-6weeks old.

my boy started playgroup fr jan08 to oct08, throughout 10mths there he cries almost every morning when going to class... now already one mth in nursery he still crying like hell, every morning he either tell me he wan to sleep or not feeling well & doesnt wan to go to school, getting him change to uniform also another headache task, then getting him leaving the house again another challenging job, so basically every morning got to spend at least 1hr (fr waking him up till leave the hse) to get everything done... at first i still can talk nicely to him, now no more coz i got no more patience liao, if he dun listen then juz wait to eat the canne lor... haizz!
