ya,man .. I know I might trigger labour with a lot of walking .. but how leh .. still need to do some things .. haha .. I promised my hubby I'll stay at home today .. but it's nearly 11am now and I'm bored already ... I think I'll go get my eyebrow threaded and walk around Northpoint .. Northpoint is SMALL so nothing much to walk .. should be ok.

Anyway, if I go into labour, I shall definitely sms Gill and she can let u girls know .. lol

wa lau, the Tollyjoy warehouse sale all the way in Changi? .. che, waste my fuel driving up and down .. sekali don't buy anything ... anyone here went for it ??

I've been told to walk more to have an easy labour. On the flip side, i've also been told to walk less so as not to go into early labour! haha..
There must be some truth to it since Sam can't sit put and manages to have easy deliveries

sam!! NORTHPOINT!... its the worst shopping mall i've ever been to.. keke.. the are renovating.. and expanding.. nothing much and the floor is powdery n the paint smell is over whelming.. DONT GO...

gill, accidentally so super cute stuff. then accidentally emailed my order to the nice spree organizer... then waiting for her to reply then i will accidentally TT the money over.. keke.. tell hubby accident.. i think he will forgive me!! keke.. was telling tara that my hubby is very close to divorcing me already coz of the rate i'm BUYING THINGS.. hehe.. he told me that i should stay home and he take my comp away n tie me to the bed! kekekeke.. but not to have sex with me! Damn!

Hi ladies
Anyone knows what is the difference between mucus plug and bloody show? I think I just lost my mucous plug, but there was no blood. Does it mean that labour is coming soon or not? Anyone knows?

I'm so excited that I lost my mucous plug! I was praying hard and talking to bb last night, said that I want her to come out by this week, so that my dr can do the delivery before she goes on leave. So I'm really excited now that the mucous fell out. Hope it means that labour will come soon!

hahahaha .. I think being pregnant just brings out the shopaholic in all of us .. for baby stuff especially amd other things .. our poor poor hubbies .. (literally) .. At Suntec yesterday, I got my younger girl girl a new pair of jeans from Gap and for my eldest, a pair of shoes .. and then buy soem other stuff from Carrefour and then some stuff from the bookfest .. in the end, I could buy the Precious Moments umbrella .. eh, it's damn nice leh .. I bought 2 .. hubby keeps scolding me cos since we drive, no point having so many umbrellas ... everytime a mall has some promo with umbrellas .. I'm the first to try and spend so I can buy ... lol.

eh actually how can your hubby know you take part in so many sprees? Lagi easier to spend in sprees .. cos not reflected in your credit card statements what ... only that you transfer the money over from your bank account .. that's how I can get away with joining so many sprees at one go .. hubby has no clue lor. if I don't control, can be in 10 sprees at one go .. damn jialat .. hahahaha

My colleague's wife swear by Fenugreek and he says that only the one from GNC works for her.

Apparently my colleague told me her wife had miserable milk supply and the Fenugreek really helped. He told me to consider taking it if my supply is miserable... No mention of any side effects. U nvr ask Mrs Wong?

Echo, losing mucus plug may not trigger labor immediately leh.. mabbe u can try walking more, squatting more so that ur labor contraction can start ASAP!! Ur bb hv 3 more days to go..hahahaha..

Gal, i feel we shouldnt try taking pills to boost our milk supply cos we wouldnt know any side effect. Try to drink more soup or drink a cup of hot milo 30 to 1 hr before pumping..i read it really helps.

Just came back fr check up. Bb is 3kg at 38 wks. Gyane says that my water level is low and bb is not engaged yet, most likely to be induced next wk.

Ade, I tried fenugreek the last time. For me, it din help. Worried abt the side effects, I took the pills for a few days only. U can ask Dr Chan to give u pills to boost up milk ss too.

try to buy your groceries at Carrefour - sure can hit $70 (for OCBC Card) .. the umbrella is really very nice and definitely worth it - very slim and light !! It's the one in blue now till the 8th of Dec .. then it'll be the pink .. GO GET THE UMBRELLA !!!!

I am a sucker for umbrella as well.. i had the Disney one from raffles city few years ago and until now, i dun really use it cos it is white in color, scared it will get dirty...hahaha. I alone have abt 6 - 7 umbrella..

of different color.. is like a hobby of mine to collect umbrella, paper bags, etc etc..juz like karang guni!

Placenta:
My 2cents worth..

I tried looking for any scientific benefits.. but so far it has not been studied..

I really dun think u should eat ur placenta.. although I doubt it will be harmful.. esp if it is ur own...

There is no culture out there who believes in eating placenta.. Burying yes.. eating no.. And if even the older cultures dun believe in eating.. then there is no basis at all..

Animals eat it but some argue that it is cos they want to hide the birth from predators..In this day and age, we can get all our nutrition from the food we eat and pills we pop.. Eating a placenta sounds so canabilistic... =)

It is really good that u are active.. I really think being active has helped alot during my pregnancy.. No pregnancy complains!! In fact, my doc keeps asking me to walk more.. Good for me.. even now!! =)

I walk alot though my feet really swollen big time! It gets worse at night and it doesnt really subsides though i soak it in peppermint warm water, i massage it, i prop my leg very high..still as swollen as pig's trotters..haha

Placenta...

Though I have no intention whatsoever to eat my own placenta...I understand that there are many beliefs and theories out there that advocate the benefits of eating placenta...

hi gers.. just kpo a bit here... i delivered in feb this yr... just wanna encourage brave mumies to go for brazilian wax.. iniitially i also dun dare to go but at my 38 weeks i went lor...

i think its so much cleaner esp when u are having lochia... if shave can be quite itchy when they grow back.

i using veron of honeypot also.. stayed w her after delivering till now.. Frankly speaking now they change wax.. a bit more painful.. but its really tolerable!!!! Not as bad as u think! Go for itk.. u try once and u will be hooked...

Gill: The muscous plug was VERY thick & sticky...looks like normal discharge but much sticker & thicker. Not as watery as normal. Eh...dunno how to explain too. No blood for me.

I had a lot of creamy discharge too, but I think that's not the mucus plug. This morning, when I wiped after going to the toilet, the toilet paper had a blob of mucus. Kinda like when you have a cold and blow your nose (sorry if it sounds a bit gross). The mucus was thick, stretchy and yellowish. No blood for me as well.

hehehe .. dunno man, but the PINK and BLUE umbrella both so cuteeeee !! I like cutesy stuff when I'm pregnant .. I start to wear more colourful clothes .. or else when I'm not pregnant, every damn thing I wear is BLACK ...

I just came back from getting my eyebrows threaded ... *sighhhhhhhh* FINALLY. Now I can give birth in peace knowing any pics I am in, my hair isn't WHITE and my eybrows UNTIDY ... hahahaha.
