no, you can book a date and time to pick up your passport - it's not auto - they just tell you when it's ready up to you to book .. much better than waiting around. I got my passport at more or less the appt time that I booked. The lady said they are trying to encourage more ppl to do the same.

sure .. let me look at my receipt ... the shop is called Mums Love Babes at #02-08 Sembawang Shopping Centre. the phone number is not on the receipt leh .. maybe u can call the operator to get their number.
I bought the last one they had .. but it's a common brand Lucky Baby .. just that this model is slightly cheaper than the other Lucky Baby models I've seen so far .. cos it's just a simple walker .. CANNOT convert to rocker. U can try to call them to see if they have new stock comin in though ..

abt expressing in office: eh yes i do feel quite stress up to express in office..esp when work peaks up, sometimes so busy that i have to squeeze time to pump only at 530pm!, tt's right before i knock off to rush to pick Kayson fm IFC at 6pm...
sometimes quite sian of pumping...but will hang on there for the sake of my boy..
ypg, i think babies nowdays are getting very smart...i think my boy likes to bully us...I put him in the jumperoo again & with us ard he likes to play...let u say, he's excited with the toys n music ...but when i start walking away to do stuff, he start to make noise & wants to be carried out....haiz...tis boy ahh.....

BTW, where's the place / salon u dong ur hair treatment at?? i think i must start on hair treatment...dun think i can tahan to keep losing hair like tt..it has dropped for almost 2 mths le!!

My boy is only drinking 125ml at IFC, interval 3hrs...IFC only helps to feed twice a day, other times i will let him latch on...on no...now i dunno if my boy is getting enuff....There's another baby at the IFC 5mths drinking 180ml too...makes me really worried am i shortchanging my boy??

Just want to get a simple walker for my bb coz only can used for few months, don't wish to spend in expensive model.
Today is my hb B'day and two of us will on leave half day going for lunch and movie. This is 1st time going for movie after gave birth, don't dare to bring bb along. Bb will be in nanny place and we will have a cake celebration with him in the night. Last year the present for my hb is 2 days before his Bday noticed I was pregnant and this year the present will is our 5 mths old bb to celebrate with him.
By next year hope bb can wish him Happy Birthday !

We try out different walker at Kiddy Palace Tampines. They got a wide collection, around 8 walker. Luckily the shop attendent never scream at us. My gal onli will smile at this one. Think it is $59.90 or $69.90. The brand is Puku. Maybe u want let ur gal go try out b4 u buy.

U been dropping hairs for 2 months? Think u must have alot of hairs initially. Cause I only drop 2 weeks n I feel bald liao.
Yap, agree that nowadays bb are very smart. My gal seldom cry but will scream a bit or pretend to cry to get her way, like asking my mum to bring her downstairs jalan jalan, asking us to carry her etc. Once she got her way, she will 偷笑, smiling without our notice. Yet everytime we oblige.

I'm going to start ordering once I've done the allergy test on Bryan on the types of food he is ok with. Like next week will start with puree pumpkin for 4 days, then move on to sweet potato for another 4 days etc...

check with u ah, u going to start bryan on semisolids rite...but u only going to do that at home or also let the IFC feed him? Cos my IFC dun allow me to bring in outside food, means i cant make my own puree for him
so i think i can only do it at home....which means after work. but i read that starting on semisolids is better to be done in daytime, instead of nite time rite.

For semisolids, I read the Gina Ford book. U should start off by giving during the lunch feed. i.e. starting with a small teaspoon. Once the baby is ok with it, you can shift it to dinner time. Since ur IFC dun allow, u can always start on a Saturday. Then ur bb eats on Sat & Sun for lunch then on Monday onwards, u can give it during dinner feed.

My IFC allow us to bring our own puree for our babies and in fact if we don't want to use their in house supply of rice cereal (nestle), we can also bring our own.
For now, I've started Bryan on 4 tsps of rice cereal mixed with milk for lunch and dinner. So far, he seems to enjoy the cereal very much and will eh eh at me loudly if i feed him too slow or if I talk to someone and slow down the feeding! hahaha.
When I intro other solids like pumpkin, carrots, sweet potatoes or fruits etc, I'll give it to him in the afternoon, then rice cereal for dinner. Only when he has establish full solid (i.e. replacing 1 milk feed) will I include vegs, fruits into his rice cereals for both meals.
So for now:
11am - Milk first then rice cereal (using balance milk to mix the cereal)
5/6pm - Milk first followed by rice cereal (again using balance milk to mix the cereal)
10pm - His last milk feed (this will last him till his next feed in the morning).
So far, I started with 1 tsp of rice cereal on Sat when he was 1day from 6mths then Sunday I increase to 2 tsps and have since increase a tsp of rice cereal each day.

I intend to start Zach on cereal this weekend..LC told me since Zach need so much milk at each feed it is obvious that milk cannot satisfy his hunger liao - i dunno how true it is cos I suspect he has been puking alot in school due to overfeeding (his bibs n clothes all reeked the smell of his milk..yucks!)

wow... think Kasia milk intake as a gal is tremendous... haha... must have inherited her parents' big appetite! she is taking 180-200ml every 3hrs, 5 feeds a day, which means her max intake is 1000ml! hee... but she's in the 50% percentile weight, in fact PD say must let her sleep more to gain weight ;p

Kasia is drinking almost 200ml now and she still wan more recently after each feed... i refuse to give her more first... if she persists, then mebbe i will start solid 1-2weeks earlier as milk alone may not be able to satisfy her liao!

Sian..1 colleague just tender and early next mth he is leaving..my boss just throw one of his areas to me...haiz..i want to tender also...but still have another 10mths to go before i can...cos i am still serving bond.

Dun know leh but PD said now milk is still the key food for baby and cereal is just at intro stage. So if feed cereal first, Baby may be too full for milk. So if feed milk first, baby already full so when intro cereal, they will eat with moderation. Different school diff thoughts leh. For me, this work well so I just stick to it lor.
However, having said that, once baby has reach full cereal intake capacity, I'll do the reverse. Ie. Rice Cereal first and milk if required.

bbpearl, i understand how u feel abt downgrading to a less stressful job. I always tell my hb tat too but he will always remind me tat if i earn lesser, meaning i hv to spend lesser to n adjust to spend by my means which i dunno i can or not lor.. hee

My PD also told me to give cereal then milk. But I read Gina Ford, she recommends to give milk then cereal esp if u intro before 6mths. Giving solids b4 six months is not for weaning but to introduce taste of solids and getting them to be used to moving food in their mouth...
I tried both ways with my ger. If I give cereal b4 milk, she can't finish milk. If I give milk first, she can finish all the milk + additional cereal (I suspect cos she LOVES the cereal VVVV much!). So if u ask me which is btr (since my ger drinks little), I will choose the second... *haha*

think u've got to consider whether there's any chance in future u wanna resume back the working position tt u have now. Coz once u decide to downgrade, it's gonna be difficult to gain back to the position that you wan. But if i were you, i'll choose to downgrade coz once u miss the growing up years for ur bb, u can never turn back time. Whereas for your job, 1) nobody is indispensable; 2) worse come to worse u can look for new job...
