poor summer. kayson juz receovered from bronchiolitis. saw dr lim n given neb as well. she likes to give neb i find. den when i wan suctioning, she say not good coz will cause spasms but seems like she don hav d facilities to do suctioning in fact. hehe.

tink u hav to b firm n tell them strictly when child sick, they gotta take leave n look afta child themselves. my sil n bil oso bu zi dong one. until i flare at my mil for allowing it to happen to my boi den she know i fire dragon. my boi alwaz kanna cough n even hfmd from them. from den onwards, she told my bil n sil cannot bring n i hardly chat wif my sil anymore n she know she hav to look afta her children when sick. =p

xuelyn, how is summer now?? Zach oso having flu, cough and oso seen dr and finally onie can recover though still got some minor cough..some gp really jialat one..the one i went oso 'useless' when wanna prescribe medicine, he even told us that he has to call his senior before prescribing..haha.

I confirm ZaCH is allergic to cow's milk. His rashes finally subsides yesterday so i decided to do trial and error by giving him FM. At nite, his rashes appear again. Oops..n he start scratching everywhere till he got scrathes all over his head

Poor boy Monday really gotta buy Isomil Soy Milk for him liao.. Now tat he got allergy, i dunno if i shuld stop BF cos i oso dunno what i eat will cause allergy..sigh.

Summer went to see Doc Lim agn jus now.. cos she had difficulty breathing.. w phlegm stuck at her throat, n couldn't drink milk. Dr Lim gave her another Nab, now she's better liao. cross my fingers hope she''ll get better soon. Realli heart pain to see her suffering like tat lor.

sigh.. dun think I can flare up at my SIL like u lei, iemiko. My SIL xi guan oreadi. ALL her 3 kids taken care by My MIL since young. she's v used to dumping her kids there liao n my MIL too chin cai.. everything also ok de. If i were to flare up like tat.. they sure say things like.. y ur bb so special... etc.. told my hubby to talk to his mum n sis. but i dun hope much oso.. v sianz.. The whole of last nite keep waking up cos Summer cough pretty badly.. sigh.. my poor gal..

by the way, doc lim have suction facilities at her clinic, she ever use for my gal when she had blocked nose. today she say its not feasible cos the phlegm oreadi went to her lungs liao, so she say nab is a better choice.

did summer vomit out d phglem afta her neb? kayson got vomit n more or less clear quite a bit of phglem. but he take dr lim meds no use one. take for 1.5wks still not recovered. i gave tcm n 2 daes ltr, no more phglem or cough. try to sleep w/o air con too.

my sil oso like tt. sick means dump at mil pl. mil know if she don do anting, i will put bb bk into IFC n my fil sure quarrel wif her over it. he prefers mil to look afta.

Sorry to hear that your bb gal fell sick. Hope that she is now feeling better after the neb. Sometimes it is tough with the MILs, esp when they are helping to take care of the children. Want to say also cannot, close one eye oso difficult. At the end of the day, its just abt preserving the 'peace' lor, esp for hubby's sake i feel.

Well, hang in there, and hope that your SIL will be more 'zi dong' next time... meantime, more impt to make sure baby summer gets well..

Sorry to hear your bb sick, hope they are getting better now. My bb also sick, two weeks ago got blocked nose then later developed to running nose and cough. Till now coming to 3 weeks still not fully recovered, can hear got phlegm when coughing and drinking milk.

The DP both of you visit does she Dr Lillian Lim from The kid clinic ?

today went for dinner n happened to chance upon this shop call 仁泰堂 ( Ren Tai Tang). I went in to see the price of the diapers for Mamy Poko & to my surprise its quite cheap at $14.90 per pack for M, L & XL size. ( Not the Jumbo pack). Normally outside price is around $ 16.90.. Online spree is at $14.50 per pack... Then as i walked in.. i m more amazed by the range of FM that they sell... WOW... its alot alot alot of brands...

Similac stage 1 at $38.00 & stage 2 is even cheaper..

Dun ask me other brands pricing la.. hee hee.. cos i no see lor ... =P.. i asked the uncle for name card. lor...

I have the sophie giraffe too. Emma loves it! I bought it for 34 (incl postage). A bit ex but totally worth it, I feel. She seems to like it a lot more than other toys.
 
jowin, actually there is another supermarket @ Punggol (Ang Mo Supermarket) that sells very cheap formula n diaper too.. i saw that they are selling Similac Stage 2 for $35 onie..hehe tonite will go check out the price for Isomil.
 
I'm getting sophie too! I love how she looks so retro, hopefully Olivia will like it as much, if not more than me! She's taken to sucking on her thumb these days.

I also had to ask hb for 'permission' to buy the giraffe. I told him that we saved money on emma's clothes cos she hasn't put on that much weight, so we haven't had to buy that many new clothes for her, and so the savings can go into buying this teether. Heh..

How many months is your girl? I weigh my girl at home and she is only 5.2kg at 4 months. At her 3 month checkup she was 5kg but pd didn't say anything. Did your pd tell you to intro solids? Actually bm is the best for first six months, even for small babies as it has more calories per weight than solid food. Also, too early intro of solids can put your baby at risk for allergies next time. As long as your girl is meeting her developmental milestones, is alert and happy, you shouldn't worry too much about weight.

So both of ur bb also see Dr Lim from Kidslink. My bb too. My bb love Dr Lim, always smile at her. I like Dr Lim also, find her very friendly and helpful. She is also very patient to my many questions. Think her clinic is specialise in child breathing or asthma is it?

Sophie: In my family, I am the main breadwinner. My hubby onli earn enough for his own spending. Haha.. So I dun need to ask my hubby for permission. But this time round, I keep getting his permission for this sophie though I am the 1 paying. Maybe I myself also think it is too high a price to pay for a teether.

Mother's Day: I still had not thought of myself as a mother for this special day. I still thinking of where to bring my mum to. She very xin ku cause she need to help me take care of my bb. My mum love spicy food so I am thinking of nonya food at East Coast Road. Any suggestion which 1 is good?

I bought a tin of Isomil and Zach tried it juz now. He loves it leh.. no fuss compared to when he was drinking Similac. After he finish his milk, i started pumping too..ai yoh, so pathetic leh. 15minutes yield 70ml onie..see alr i wanna give up pumping and revert back to total latch on but scared tmr onwards my work schedule will be very very tight and demanding liao.. how how how??

Ladies,

I am pretty upset over the weekend cause my bb come back with fingernail cut on her left hand after we fetch her from the nanny there.

We suspect that my nanny grandchild did that to my bb cause he maybe think it is fun to play. As my bb seldom cry due to pain, maybe the nanny dunno about this, thinking she is acceptable to such "playing".

I want to scream at the nanny but yet cant do so. Worry that she will do something to hurt my bb in return. Sighs. Now we just hint to her that we know that our bb hand is weird n hope she will be zi dong n such thing wun happen again.

We dun intend to change nanny cause my bb love this nanny n so far she take good care of my bb. Changing to another nanny also cant guarantee will be good. Sighs. Guess now can onli hope that such incident wun happen again.

yup.. nothing serious dun scream at the nanny as we do not know what they will do to the child when u are not around... However, perhaps u can use the reverse way to tell her.. example

" I realised that my girl lately love to touch things & might scratch her own hands.. i found some scratches lately.. U might help me to take note to prevent her from scratching...I see the scratches very heartpain..."

Its kind of hinting her also lor...

me rather FAN these days... i m getting hard to letdown and milk hard to flow out... it is not block leh... but then just hard to have let down for the milk to be out totally... Sigh... I have to switch off the pump.. restart the stimulator at the beginning to trigger letdown... on n off after 10mins... wat happen lately!!!! I am used to achieve average 250ml in 20mins.. now almost 40mins to 1 hr to get this amount... ARGH.. Very tired to pump like tat..


the milk SS getting lesser too...
