I must start my pumping session again to store milk to be mixed with cereal liao lor hor..

I m so sleepy.. Zach woke up crying at 3am and refuses to sleep till 4.30am n tat is after i gave up n latch him.

emeraldbride - the teachers at IFC are ok for A to start cereal at 4 mths. in fact, there's another boy at IFC started cereal at 4.5mths. A already started not drinking that much milk liao.

Mimi - eh, A can't be in rocker or bumbo more than 20mins. so i think that will applies to jumperoo. i was wondering if he likes to jump or can jump in 1st place.

Snowger - the PT i signed up for is 3 sessions for $180 excluding GST. i decided not to continue after the sessions are finished. have a feeling that the meals should be much more x.
 
juz, quit ah? No lar.. i cannot quit now. Whr to find $$? My expenses per mth very high one leh. Need to pay utilities, phone bills, give parents, etc etc.. n not to mention i m someone tat always buy things one lor.. :p

i oso duno when to start on solid. Nvr mind lar, juz when he is ready bah..

I wonder izzit tat I'm simply not patient enuff or wat.. i tried playing w her.. she dun wan also lei.

I think it could be she's over stimulated cannot fall asleep tt's y like tat. Hope tt this is jus a passing phase n will be over Very very soon!

Me oso half way offline for quite a while (went to pump milk).

It's not you impatient lah. I get irritated easily too, esp if she fusses for more than 1 hr and for more than 2 days in a row). When you understand them liao, then u will feel btr! *jia you*

If she is over stimulated, it won't be a passing phase leh... Cos it is dependent on the adults liao. i.e. u all keep playing with her/talk to her/ stare into her eyes (yes... can u believe even tis) will stimulate her lor.

If u suspect it's overstimulation, aft her milk feed, cut down the stimulation time. For the last milk feed, only give her some wind down activity (wat i do is I sing her a lullaby or 2 then lie down nxt to her. She will self entertain). Then when she feel sleepy, off to her playpen...

Re: Starting Solids
It is not recommended to start solids till at least 6 mths and should be done after your PD gives the goes ahead. There are cases where PDs will ask you to start earlier (for instance if you baby is SEVERELY rejecting milk. None of our cases fall within this range yet I feel) but it will NEVER be before 4 mths. Starting solids early increases the risk of allergies, etc. No just to encourage BF. Hence, do not start as and when you like or for your convenience. If baby rejects milk in bottle, can try to spoonfeed the milk sometimes.

Wah... why call me BP queen wor. Ok ok... I go hunt ard for lobang for high chair... but hor... Ikea one cheaper leh. Fisher price also has one portable booster seat which can be used to transform any chair with backing into a high chair.
 
Juz, imo dun really need PT, u can sign up classes at CC or SC, tat is what i did and only $60-80 for each exercise and it is for 10-12 classes and 1hr each..

Saying abt this..i realised i have my class today and i forgot abt my attire!!! Today my parents not free to take care my boi..so i have bring him to my SIL's place..not too far also..and i bring his barang..and forgot abt mine!

Sam - I will most probably b at Vivo/Harbour Front this sat, bringing my gal for her swim. So won't be meeting u in town. Anyway, it's also impossible for me to be in town on weekends as my hubby hates to go there.

TOday i m real busy.. not at work but at home..my mum not free today n i need to take care myself.. My ger rather sticky to me today, did alot of things. play with her, sing songs.. n read story book to her.. n all other normal routines..

now i finally can pump milk, eat Mac at the same time.. she on the rocker playing &amp; talking herself n keep whining.. hahah!! I m shouting from my desk to talk to her.. Multi-tasking.

Can i know what is an exersaucer for? What's the diff between this and jumperoo? Someone posted an article abt an accident with jumperoo. Is it evenflo brand? I let Zach tried on F&amp;P jumperoo yesterday at Marina Sq n he loves it.. haha
 
juzyounme - PD got give cream to apply on zayden. whenever my mum apply on him, he will scream and scream. jumperoo can carry till 11kg but A only 8kg mah, not so easy spoilt one la. i think hor if A really likes it, it's not really worth for u to buy also leh cos A sure very fast hit 11kg.
 
exersaucer - cannot jump, only 'stand' inside and play wi the toys around it.

got accident when playing in jumperoo? where is the news?

mabbe i shudl get an exersaucer for zach to play but i need to double tink first cos he alr got alot of stuff to keep him occupied liao.

juz: reductil is quite commonly prescribed as a slimming pill because it suppress appetite. Side effects can include constipation, dry mouth, dizziness and increased heart rate. My doc told me while it could be used to kick-start a weight-loss prog, it shouldnt be used long term because eventually, the body may get used to it and the rate of weight loss will reduce.

Re: Flipping
Avery started to flip when she 3mth 1wk. The first time gave me a scare because i left her on the masterbed to go fill the bathtub for her bath, left only for less than 3 mins, came back saw that she managed to kick away the bolster i put by the bedside and was on her tummy at the side of the bed. Now i have to leave her in her cot whenever i have to run off even for a min.

Re: starting solids
Think i will start when bb is 5.5mths because of what the PD said about allergies etc. However, Avery is definitely interested in the food we eat. Her grandpa quite naughty, will put a slice of apple at her mouth to let her taste and she would make 'mum mum' motion with her mouth. Cried when grandpa took the apple away. *roll eyes* Have to tell my dad not to tease her like that since i am not giving her semi solids yet.

seems like only affect certain batches bah. guess better to take extra note of the parts they mentioned when bb is playing in it

Buffet for gathering - think we can only book for Set B - $11.99 per pax (min 30 pax). for Set A - $10.99 per pax, min 40 pax.

for food wise, i never order from delihub before so dun know what is nice. maybe someone who has ordered from them before can advise.

i'm not sure if all GP carry this pill or not, but i think quite common bah coz i used to see some mummies selling away this pill in WTS section... side effect ar... high blood pressure, dry mouth, insomia, constipation etc... hehee... sounds scary hor!

introducing solid to bb,
agree with fifi...
best to introduce solid to bb after 6 mth to reduce the risk of allergy condition in later life, esp for those with family history such as eczema, sensitive nose/eye/skin, asthma etc...

so i think really no hurry to introduce solid to baby lor... to play safe mahh... start solid earlier doesnt mean they are smarter...

think parent sould be putting on the blame as well... they always said no choice, no choice no choice... hav to work for money... but seriously if anything happen, their 'hard-earned' money can only pay for the medical bill, but never get their child's life back (should anything bad really happen...!!)

haiz.. for me. no money or work hard for money. i also wont put put my baby with maid. i have experience before last time. my maid didnt abuse me. but then i remember she once sit on the window railling shouting here and there to talk to another person OPP my house! and i was beside her. thank god that time i didnt fell down. faints.
