Cindy .. hahaha .. ya it's like that once you have a baby .. I prefer to buy stuff for my girls too than buy for myself .. I always tell myself I don't need anymore clothes or bags or shoes .. hahaha.
 


face it. we're all not sweet young things anymore. Once you have a kid or 2 (or more in my case) .. NO MARKET VALUE lor. You become aunty cos you prefer to buy stuff for your kiddies than buy a new handbag u don need .. lol.

kidding la .. I am aunty .. I am already 35 years old .. all you ppl still young .. not aunty yet !!

2nd time i went out with my frds to eat or shop. my gal cry like hell again.. seriously i duno whats her freaking problem. it makes me so piss off that i dun feel like bringing her out! everytime bring her out make me throw face. damn sianz. everyone looking at me. not sure why! last time i bring her out she's okai.. now duno why start to fuss..

ur gal reminds me of my young cousin when she's young.. a feeling that she started to recognise places, faces n environment already... Unfamiliar places etc.. she started to fuss.. to the extend tat once step out of house.. cry... b4 entering another house which not familiar.. she cry the whole place down again....

babies going to be 3 months old start to recognise people n places liao

You should bring her out.. why not?? But just my personal opinion.. for me,if she is very cranky and tired that day, i will avoid going out as she need a proper good sleep. Or avoid noisy place to cause her to distress ( though i understand, she maybe so angel at home and so devil when outside) Afterall she is just a 3 month old baby.

Perhaps people may say i pampered her..must bring her out alot to get use to the environment so that she will get use to it. To me, not causing my girl to get distress outside is more impt

If you think that you are bringing her out alot.. just cut down on the frequency.. But not to the extend of NOT bring her out at all.. Its also good for them to expose

I agree to condemn those mean taxi drivers.. I tried to bring my gal to TM recently w her stroller (peg perego same as kath). The stoopid taxi driver jus watch as I struggle to put the ever so heavy stroller in the boot.. so frustrating..!!!

Little Rabbit: Change of pacifier: I follow the instruction of the product. For eg: if the package says suitable for 0-3 mths, then i will change it when baby turns 4mths old. Hehe.. My common sense..

dbaby, my baby bcg bursts too, You may take a small piece of sterilsed gauze and place over it to absorb the remaining pus. Sometimes there may be a bit of blood, Now it leaves a small mark on her arm.

Fabbie: My baby fuss quite alot too when i bring her out for CNY visiting. It was simply nightmare to us. She wail non stop even when she reached home, Until i surrender! Recently she is better after my mum advice me to feed my baby well before we go out and tell her where we will be heading for the day, who she is going to meet and what to expect and tell her to behave herself properly. hehe, I always tell her during feeding time so she'll be listening. Maybe you can try!

Hi gals,
currently my boy is 2 mths plus. And now he like to 'chit chat' after his feed during the day. and he like to smile and make coo coo sound and response when we take to him. When we call him he will also turn to our direction.

Now when nite time he will wan to go into my bedrm. Other time of the day he nap at the living rm. Day he will look for my MIL and nite auto will look for me. I am going to hongkong this sat dunno he will look for me anot. Worried.

Last nite he have his last feed at 9pm and this morning he wake up at 430am for his feed. This is the longest hrs so far. (7.5hrs) but for once only lar. Will monitor and see he can stick to that anot.

Usually I onie get my own time ard 11.30am cos baby will wake up ard 9.30am onie..hehe

fabbie, once baby starts to recognise environment and faces, is best to bring her out more often liao, go to fren's house, mil's house, etc etc so that she is exposed to more ppl and not look at u or hb's face onie. This will really save u alot of trouble once she hits 6mths or so..u would not want ur baby to keep sticking to u.. like now, i did bring my baby out 3 days in a row alone, not tat bad lar.. most of the time he will sleep like last nite went out for dinner wif my frens, he slept from PUnggol to Marina Square, throughout my dinner than on the way back to Punggol still sleeping reach home oso sleeping. Onie wake up at 11pm! Milk oso dun want..let me throw away my precious EBM..120ml leh..

Usually i will bring him to noisy places so that he is not used to sleeping in quiet area..baby must be able to sleep anywhere and anytime and even got noise oso must be able to sleep then it will give parents an easier time..tat's my thinking lar..hehe

today is staying home day, mummy need to clear her stuff, tmr is mums n babes day, saturday is stay home day and sunday is shopping day! Hahaha.
 
yeah.. take lrt to cove, then after the ez-link gantry, turn left and go down the stairs..cut across block 196A into car park, go up one level and thr is an exit writing 196C.. sheltered all the way, dun worry..

Thanks for your advised for the pacifier. Just bought a new pacifier and saw the packing indicate "replace the pacifier between 1 to 2 mths".

My boy start to recognise face and voice after he turn to 2 mths. My mil come to visit my boy weekly and started from last week onwards, my boy will fuss and cry when she carried him. Once she pass it back to me than my boy stop fuss and cry. same case happened to nanny when she visit my boy during weekend. Today, I bring him to nanny house, he just keep looking around without crying but once nanny carried him, fuss and cry. sight..
I will send him to nanny house on next month before I go back to work, I think he will fuss and cry for few day before he can adopt the new face and environment.
Nanny ask me to bring him out frequently to meet ppl around and places. Have to train him to get use of it.

ya u must get over feeling paiseh when your girl cries outside la .. there'll be good days and there'll be bad days .. that's why after a while, u stop going out with those friends with no babies .. hahaha .. cos sometimes some may be not understanding when u have to leave early or when baby keeps crying ...

Some babies are just more sensitive to different environments ... that's why she cries when you're outside ... try to get her used to it lor .. if she sleeps while you're out, then that's good .. just push in her stroller ... easy to shop and eat !!! Sleep definitely better than crying, right???

Just now so funny .. I was at Causeway Point .. I sent my car to be waxed and polished .. guess who I bumped into ...?? Reddates !!! hahah .. I don't recognize her mah .. she remembered me from the photo I posted here .. I think the one where I was pregnant ... at the zoo .. she said, "Samantha" ... I was confused cos I have never met her mah .. hahahah

Haiz.. i still want to bring my girl out alone! i will never give up! arghz.. today im at jurong point nursing room changing room. and after i change her maybe she want to feed as her feeding time is up. i sad in the nursing room and not closing door cus i was not BF mah. so i just sit there. like in a cubie. and my ger keep crying cus she didnt want to drink. keep crying then fine. i dun force her liao. and once i look up. WAH LAU a auntie standing infront of me! so scary!!! faints. Oh sam then u saw faye wong? hehh

i will bring her out more often. but hope my mum dun keep nagging at me say.. BABY CANNOT BRING OUT BEFORE 3 months! wah. next week is 3 months and i shall bring her out more. she waht she got to say. i think she will say. BABY CANNOT BRING OUT BEFORE 6 months! LOL

i just a sling and i guess it will arrive early march. hope it will come before i start work and will try using the sling. maybe in the sling she can sleep more better then Bjorn. as Bjorn's hands and legs are like flying around when im walking! and i realise feeding her in my Bjorn is quite hard. Arghz. and damn my back so pain sia!. =(

ya la .. I also liked taking my girl out alone when it was just me and her (this is long ago with my eldest one) - so I know how u feel ...

ya, that's why a good nursing room is impt .. the Taka one is also nice .. can just sit there if the baby is fussing and wait till baby calms down.

2nd baby, where in hell is the vivo nursing room .. have ah? I thought it was just that teeny room near the toliets at the Toys R Us there .. no meh? anyway, it's a real shame .. Vivocity is so huge .. they can't even have a nice baby room is it?? Taka is still the best ..
 
i went to vivo that day. and happen to saw a nursing room. is in female toliet. near a H carpark. there no hotwater. just only 1 room for nursing and its quits small. thats all. the rest didnt expolore
 
i agree that must bring baby out & let them expose to outside ... last time when my MIL took care of my elder boy during weekdays, she has never brought my boy out of the house at all, yes meaning from monday to friday (b4 we go & pick him up in every fri evening) he has no chance to step out from the door at all, so due to the minimal exposure, he became very scare to stranger until after we sent him to playgroup at age of 3 then things got better slowly... so when he was young, whenever we brought him to my fren's hse or even my own mum's hse in m'sia, he will cry like hell & refused to go into the house, very very headache lor... so i believe tat must let our child expose to outside more often, but of coz la try to avoid to go to those very crowded places...

recently i've bought an open top swing for my boy, 1st day he is ok & can sleep on it until passing his feeding time, but these 2 days dunno wat happen, keep crying when i put him there, i hope he will slowly lov it again else wasting my money... sigh!
btw, anyone who has this swing too can i ask... i find tat the speed 1 to speed 5 like not much different ler, dunno if my one got faulty or not, if i never put my child in but try to test the speed 5 it is like not much swinging ler... sianz nia dunno if i should bring it back to the store & show the staff or not coz troublesome ler...
 
ok, confirm liao, i can't make it tomorrow. husband is working night and has made plans for the day for us and since he's been rather busy lately, i can't 'steal' his boys from him when he's home. sorry ladies

i have the open swing before i find that the swing speed 1 is enff for my gal. speed 5 the swing like too fast. theres difference leh. my gal sometimes loves to swing. sometimes dun. i felt she dun like keep on doing the same thing she will sian de lor.. The rest maybe u can ask phy cus in the end my swing i exchange with her rocker. hehe

urs also Fisher price one ar? when first time i use (w/o my boy in) the speed 5 is like moving a bit only, but when i put my boy in, it is moving but i can say tat not much different lor... in fact except speed 1, i find tat speed 2,3,4 & 5 not much different ler, sianz nia... i got 7 days to exchange but if my bring back to the store then later they tell me it's like tat one then how, stupid rite?
 
Ya.. i got post the picture before.. the 2nd picture. for me got difference leh. mine is 2nd hand. maybe ur swing not put properly. u see how? but expected the swing.. swing very nice meh?! lol not very good ba.

ya there is a difference .. I also find that speed 1 more than enough .. did u push the swing to get it moving then turn on to the desired speed? .. if not, very taxing for the motor to get the swing moving ..

when u put baby in, just push the swing manually then switch it on .. you can then see that speed 5 is much faster than speed 1

ya i got push the swing to get it moving before turning it on, other than speed 1 (which is slow), to me speed 2,3,4,5 look the same so i dunno why there are 5 speeds lor... but ask u, if u turn to speed 5 (w/o ur gal in), is it supposed to be fast coz mine one slower than speed 1 ler if i nv put my boy in... argh... dunno wat's wrong ler...
 
oh. No what .. speed 5 can hear the motor working faster than speed 1 .. but I never tried when it's empty ..

juz now i tried again (empty seat) from speed 1 to speed 5, it seems ok at 1 to 3 but slow down at speed 4 then speed 5 the worst coz slowest...
