Don't worry too much. You can always start by watching wat you eat during confinement as the food tends to be richer and oiler. I asked my CL not to put too much oil and to trim the fats off chicken and meat. Plus I wake up for all the night feeds so that I can learn as much as possible from my CL on how to handle my boy. So all these burn fats.

Cheer up, you're slim to begin with so dun worry too much ok

it's not brave la, it's being stubborn ... just refuse to stay cooped up at home WAITING .. if I had a reason to like some of the ladies to with bad water retention, then bo pian .. but since I am still capable .. no water retention .. just a heavy stomach .. I find it still enjoyable to go to town and see the Christmas stuff there ... I love Christmas ...

Today I think I'll bring my girls to IKEA if I have the time ...

My appt is bright n early in the morning. Taking leave again so wanna get the appt out of the way. Then can take opportunity to rest (doing 4 day wks). Think weight gain during e last trim shld pick up. I was just so shocked my weight suddenly jumped aft 2 wks of supposed zero weight gain.

Buying disposable undies:
For gals buying the undies recommended by Adeline fr TMC. There is 10% disc for FBI card holders! So rem to flash ur cards!!!

There is oso disc when buying stuff fr Delifrance.

i went to studio loft last week, am happy with the shots taken and should be collecting nxt wk or the week after. their webbie http://www.thestudioloft.com.sg/

$180 for 45min shoot, 5 x 5R, 1 x Super 8R
i find there's no point paying for packages that can collect all the shots taken, after all, i will not be looking at the photos all that much later on. My wedding was just last year and already the albums are collecting dust in the wardrobe. Probably looked at the wedding pics less than 10x so far...

1030pm - Admitted to TMC
1050pm - Take CTG
1100pm - Dr woody broke my water bag, quite painful as he keep digging -___-
1110pm - Shit everything out.. The feeling is quite pain. and unconfortable
1130pm - Went to labour room
1145pm - Take quite alot blood for test (for donate cord blood) took drip.. (i was too nervous till the nurse poke me 2 times!) First time is not that pain 2nd time is quite painful.. So those who scare to drip relax abit.. if not they will poke 2nd time.
230am - Contraction keep coming on and off. More n more strong is like terrible menses cramp. I keep moving here and there but i took gas also no use its so smelly. that made my throat very dry. So i ask for epidural
300am - Doc came is not Dr Woody. He told me no contraction than will start. They keep asking me not to look behind (i guess its too scary already the needle) He poke me not pain. but he insert inner abit i started to jerk and they quicky stop me for moving. after that everything is fine. i think epi total had about 2 needles if im not wrong
318am - Started to rest.. epi having it is better.. whole body numb.. even people carry your legs. u will feel abit pain
440am - Cervix check 8cm
615am - Breathe oxygen for baby
705 am - Dr Woody Came in.. i had about less than 10 pushes
719am - Baby is out! HEE 2.8kg

After doc stitch its abit quite pain and numb underneath. =)

If you ask me wan to give birth another time. SURE. after i forget the pain of birth then i will give birth again hahah Jia you all mummy!

wow, this thread really moves super fast, just a few days nv log in already so much post...

Sam, u really steady! 39 wks & u still walk so much..

Echo, dun be sad. I think it's normal, pre-natal blues / post-natal blues...esp now in our advance stage, if got nothing to do, we will keep thinking & thinking.....& end up thinking too much..

actually got things to do (like I'm still working) also will start to think a lot & get worried / emotional for no reason...

I have also been feeling so emotional lately...started crying in the car on the way home yesterday, HB got shock!...I started getting emotional cos the baby cot in the baby's room too big to move out into our masteroom...but we want the baby to be near us..but i spend so much effort doing up the baby's room if the baby's cot in our masteroom then the baby room seems so empty/not complete w/o baby cot...anyway...no matter how we try we can get the cot out , so no choice, yesterday HB had to unscrew the cot so tt can bring into our room...

haiz...so now the big cot is in our room..so tt easier for nite feeds, & to look after baby..& my baby's room so empty w/o the cot..

mine turn for gynae visit coming thurs..hopefully baby's weight hv increase..cos I have! so worried when during last visit gynae says baby's weight low.

oh the infant car seat..i spoke to HB..ohh i didnt koe it's aganist the law to carry in arms..i tot only children/toddles needs childseat..so HB says probaby after bb born then we go & get one..cos 1st mth also not going out often anyway..

Dear mommies, may i check if anyone experience any nipple pain? (like a burning sensation)?
i start having that pain when i turn over to my left to sleep last week, it happens every nite. now the pain comes and goes even i am not sleeping. I can't imagine having this pain & still nursing the bb...

Pastillies: If possible, buy the car seat before you pop. If not, how are you going to bring the baby home?! If suay suay *touchwood* meet the TP on the way home, they will not allow excuses that you haven't bought it.

Bur, try moisturizing with nipple cream .. it might help .. my nipple started to feel tingly a bit a few weeks back .. I lathered cream on it and the sensation went away.

actually, you need one before you leave the hospital .. cos you're going to go home in your car, right? If kena stopped by TP, your hubby will kena points and fined, plus it is dangerous to just carry baby in your arms. If you can make it, try to buy one first before baby comes.
