Wow! Sounds like you all had a super duper good time. Any pics to share share? How much did you pay for the rooms? Am tempted to stay there for 1-night too. heheheh...

Kiki,
Yah lor. This thread getting more and more quiet. Tink most of the mommies hv gone over to FB.

lian

happy.gif

kiki
nowadays u oso seldom come in here leh. how is it with managing 2 kids? lucky u got a good helper.

triangel
the kids must be very happy! ya how much for a nite's stay huh? u really made it sounds so tempting, haha

3jems
u got FB? i think i didn't hv yr FB...

Kiki,
Yah... a gathering sounds like fun. heheheh... When? When?

Jes,
Yup.. I got FB. But I seldom go in cos I'm not a FB person. Plus recently too much controversy over their so-called privacy settings. I dun even upload my photos there cos they got a condition that any photo uploaded into FB means the FB people got rights to reproduce it anywhere else they like. Eerrr... I would not want uauthorised people drooling over pics of my gals. Scared of internet perverts. hahahah...

Aiyohz... my tummy still in knots and I feeling woozy. Yesterday afternoon was bad again. Went home early cos cannot take it. Hope today will be better. Wish this flu bug will just go away.

Anyone celebrating Halloween? Haha...Very cute to have children knock at your door and say trick or treat.

Saw so many cute halloween stuff got urge to buy...

Nope... me dun celebrate Halloween. Dun particularly like this festival. I'm terrified of all the scary & gory stuffs they put on display. Gives me the creeps leh. heheheheh...

lilian..
Did you also start off with the Tozan Bus 1st? I went with the Tozan Train 1st thou..oh..how come u started at 11am? thot u planned for an earlier trip? but luckily you stayed over for a night..

i jut won a 1-for-1 Singapore Flyer's ticket from the McDonald's Monopoly Game so will be bringing Brod for a ride on his 2nd birthday..such a conincidence..Mav also went for the Singapore Flyer ride when he turned 2..but that was a day view..so this round I m probably thinking of an evening view..hehe..

glad_gal..
On Hakone you can chk out my earlier posted album last yr..how many days will u be going to Tokyo & Kyoto?

kiki..
wah..u r soo nice to done up the Oct birthday list...time passes soo fast..kinda miss the time my dearie is a baby..lol..ah..nice that u r coping well..wah..very good supply wor..keep it up too..

soho..
we just came back celebrated halloween with the kids..hehe..SG do not have much halloween decos..when I came back from my recent trip, T3 is already done with the Xmas decos..lol..

hi mummies.. been busy with work so seldom come here..

today took leave to accompany lil boy for his bday.. we went to riders cafe for brunch, then drove to dempsey wanted to bring him to gogobambini but he felt asleep so we brought him home hahaa.. ard 2pm then we brought him to the bouncing kids at kovan.. there not bad, though small but quite fun in there.. i signed up for membership, so anyone want to go jio me k.. hee..

very tiring but FUN!!! ;p

Thanks Kiki for the bday wishes!!

Wtan: Hehe you really love Japan you went twice within 2 years! I went to see your photos liao tks! I would be there for 8 nights in total. Tokyo 4N, Hakone 1N, Kyoto 2N.
I can' wait to go and have a good break!! Really very stressed from work
sad.gif

Liv: Sounds fun :D Is Riders cafe nice?? Read abt the place before in a blog

Triangel, wah, MBS nice leh.. How much u paid huh?

Wtan
T romance car schedule didn't allow me to plan for an earlier start leh. The timing was like 7:30am, then 9am next. Nothing in between. We didn't want to rush to checkout hotel, deposit our luggage, grab bkfst and find our way to the Odayu platform.. so we chose the 9am train - reach Hakone at 1035am.

ah Jes, i was loitering at FB, since no one here

Aly_nat, did u gave me a link to local distributor for irobot?? I need it again. Hubby really want to get it

Seems like all your kids had fun on their 2nd birthday!

ah lian: USS? i bringing gerard or luke n kai this sunday.

wah romance car sounds nice. but donno how glad_gal can be romantic w greg tagging along.

ah jes; wah choi. no lah. don't think y'all so suay as me.

3jems: i say too soon lah. alamak. my kai didn't get over 80 for a single subject. worst one is science w 69 marks. aiyah. gek sim. jia you to J1.

ah liv: wah, kovan, so near me. pls jio me if u want to go.

happy birthday to the kids too.

olwen, romance car has nothing to do with romantic lor... haha.. the Japanese are over creative with their naming. kaka
R not going to USS ah?

glad_gal..
last yr was a surprise trip by hubby leh..hehe..that's the one we went to Hakone..but it was fun thou..this yr was already planned for 2 yrs back with the kids to Tokyo Disneyland..that is my dream..to be able to bring my kids there too..yes..it will be nice & fun..i am sure u will love it too~

lian..
icic..indeed the time slot was quite a wide stretch for the Romance Car to Hakone..but it's surely worth going since you are gg to stay over at Hakone..i m sure u hv a wonderful time too..

olwen/lian..romance car is more for 2 persons sitting next to each other..haha..hence the naming..

wtan/gladgal, i was suggesting to gladgal to start with bus instead of train bcos i tink by the end of the loop, Greg most likely will b tired liao. The tozan bus will be more comfortable for him to sleep (stroller can b pushed in) rather than the bus.
Yes wtan, we had a great and relaxing time in Hakone
happy.gif
I m thinking tat I shd bring my mum there one day... but Hakone ryokan is tooo expensive for me to afford so many ppl

morning mummies!

Today is my BBQ's birthday wor! (Happy Birthday to Little Brandon, Little Jalen and Little Ryan too). 2 YO liao! Can't believe it!

Later gonna bring cakes to his cc for celebration... :p

Is riders cafe good? Wanna bring him somewhere for breakfast tomorrow.. maybe after that can go Jacob Ballas to play water..

lilian/glad_gal..
actually travelling with kid with stroller/pram to the land of the rising sun, Japan will be easy and at the same time tiring too..many trains/railway stations are without elevator or lift access..hence the man will usually have to carry the stroller with baby inside (since the mummy shd be carrying the bags etc) to climb up the stretch of staircase..this is my 2cents worth..

so I am thankful Mav can walk on his own (But when he's sleeping in the car, hubby will have to take in a deep breathe before climbing up)..lol..

so far Brod darling slept at either lunch time & close to dinner time..but it was shiok because it's cooling in the open too..

glad_gal,
prepare 1 blanket for Greg too..are you taking SQ?

morning!!

wow sounds like fun for all the kids' b'day...
made me guilty leh cos i'm not bringing my V out on her actual day. aiyo.

olwen
alamak, i suddenly recall tat i haven't collected the melts from u. do you still have them for me? otherwise it's ok u know. i can wait for the next spree, and gotta trouble u again. pie say.

liv
bouncing kids @ kovan - is this the plc which RCB mentioned before? whats the activities like? how much u paid for the membership?

wtan/gladgal, sorrie, typo in my earlier post:
The tozan train will be more comfortable for him to sleep
Yah, rem to bring warm blanket. It'll b cold in Nov.

wtan, yah! some of their train stn dun have lift/escalator access. My poor hubby had to carry the luggage up the stairs. hehe.. lucky we brought only one luggage

Happy Birthday to all the little Kiddos who are celebrating their birthday today/ over the weekend!

Belated birthday to all the little Kiddos who celebrated their birthday during the past few days!

*LOL*

Lilian,
Not that I'm not sincere lah ... busy with work ... and past two nights, Lucas woke up middle of the night and cry nonstop for at least half hr. *tired*

I know who r the mummies celebrating their child's birthday but really cant remember each of their Kiddo name, no time to refer your contact list everyday.

I really wish all the Kiddo enjoys/have enjoyed their birthday!

glad_glad, kiki: Riders cafe, the food so-so la.. but the ambience quite nice, can see horses.. ;p

Lilian: i also tempted to buy irobot! haha.. cheaper to get from the distributor ah?

ah wen: sure sure.. will jio u if i bringing ethan there again~

jes: ya it's the one rcb mentioned. got slides, the ball pool, and like those in fidget/polliwogs but smaller scale.. 10 dollars lifetime.. every entry is $9 weekday for unlimited hrs.. else is $12 per 2 hr.. ;p

Liv, i dunno abt their prices yet. Will let u know if i know. hee... Can ask if buy 2 got discount bo

Jes, V started using training pants liao bo?

liv
thanks for the info. sounds like fun! got to try it someday. is this at kovan plaza or where?

lian
haven't used the pants yet. haiz, cos we r still unable to get V to sit on a potty or the toilet bowl, she kept rejecting. dun know how to start leh. have u started K on wearing these pants?

lian
haha.. i think these pants would be useful but provided that our kids are on their way to be toilet trained. otherwise wear already oso no use i think.

lilian..
yaya..whc is why i am not sure if glad_gal taking the Tozan Bus as the 1st stop will be an good option too..think when she alight from the Romance Car, she might not know how to figure out where to go over for the Bus ride..

u r lucky to hv just 1 luggage..lol..we hv 2 kids with 2 luggage bags + 1 hand carry bag & 1 stroller..woohoo..lol..
the tough part is when Mav sleep he's ard 15kg & growing so with the stroller up the staircases ah..but like what Minky also posted at my FB, I have survived the trip..lol..

Yesterday I shower Lucas and was testing the water temperature, he squatted at a corner and pee, just like a gal! Dunnoe issit because he peeped at niece or his sch gal frens doing that during shower time. Fainted.

Olwen: yes yes no time to be romantic w dear Greg
happy.gif
haha even bed I forsee it wld be a tight squeeze given Japan tiny beds lol!! But wld be fun lah n many challenges. But if wtan can handle 2 kids I guess I wld survive!!

Wtan/Lian: Thanks for all the tips n recommendations! Wld definitely take note of the timing when doing the loop though I guess I need to read up more abt it. And nope we not taking stroller! Prob walk or carry hiaz just hope G wldbe more cooperative :p yup taking SQ. I told my hb since travellg w a kid we just have to be 'zen' and expect lots of changes to our planned itinerary hehe.
