The army tell the men, must put army first before all else leh. Otherwise, we have nothing else. Keep yourself busy, 17 days will pass very quickly. As for V, she probably won't realize daddy's absence much, yet.

Me no good lah. Now exam stress. Only started revision with aly since last sat. Realize that she has lots to catch up. Jialat, dunno can meet the grades of the other school or not

Potty training
I'm glad to announce that nat is potty trained! Started 3 weeks back, been accident free for 2 weeks now. Hope this continues! Wonder when she can go totally diaper free, even at night.

Take care. Give ice-cream if she has ulcer in her mouth and cooling stuff(barley or lin yang) too. My son caught HFMD from CCC last mon and had recovered but no fever.

thks for the advise! tats wat i tot so b4 deciding to give honey water to my gal. i think fresh fruit juice is still the best as compared to sweet drinks. i dun mind tat grandparents spoil grandchildren but sometimes hv to consider their health 1st b4 intro "adult" food to them. eg. nw my mil want to intro bird nest for my gal... sighz! i scare of her getting allegies or indigestion if ever consume it. do they ever tot tat bird nest is just like chicken essence? i'll rather wait till she grow bigger 1st.

well i tend to feel frustrated in tis way bcoz my parents & in-laws r not the main caretakers. so they wont understand wat we parents r going thru when kids r sick. (even though i know tat they've been parents b4) anyway nowadays is so much different from the olden days. juz like milk powder... they always 'blame' on dha & etc... tats y harder to handle active kids. juz speechless anyway...

I'm finally back in officed after being on Mc from last Tuesday till Friday. The flu bug was terrible. My body was sching, my throat was inflammed, my nose was runny.... *list of complains goes on*

Totally understand where you're coming from. Till today, I still find myself telling my parents, cannot to give baby this... cannot give baby that... Never-ending lah. Worse is when baby falls sick, then they said cos I gave her tibits. Haiyohz. But cos I've gone thru all these 3x now, guess I'm more numb loh. Plus I'm sssoo exhausted from work, taking care of the kids and handling stupids maid issues till cannot be bothered anymore. *faintz*

Aiyohz... I'm getting all stressed over J1's exams. No matter how much we grill her... her maths is terrible! Dunno why, but she just can't seem to understand certain concepts. Her problem sums are the worse! Thankfully her English and Chinese still ok except for the comprehension part. Though she is getting the hang of where to 'find' the answers in the passage. But her grammer... *aarrgghh*

welcome back, we missed you... this thread was so quiet last week w/o u around

wkend generally ok (though tired), mil came over on the 2 evenings. then on sat eve when V saw mil came only, she kept clinging on to her and cried. i was so frus that i scolded her, put her on cold turkey and i beat her on her thighs a few times, tat was the only time she made me go crazy, otherwise i would say she's pretty well-behaved! haiz... then after i beat beat her i felt guilty and went to check if i left marks on her thighs anot. sometimes hate myself for being so short-tempered...

hahhaha.... I know how that feels. I've lost my cool countless times and gave my gals several hard smacks on the buttocks and thighs. Then after that felt like such a terrible, lousy mommy. Especially on days when I'm feeling PMS, then all 3 keep screaming, whining and fighting all day long. *aarrgghh* Then I go completely berserk. Haiyohz.... after the smacking, I start to hate myself for not staying as cool as cucumber and being a picture perfect mommy. Sigh.........


Hey... got a question... any mommies doing part time as Real Estate agent? Cos I'm thinking of doing this in addition to my full time job to earn more $$$ for my household. Living expenses in SG is getting way too high. Need to find ways to cut my credit debt and increase my liquidity.

ah jes: u can do it. i used to love spending time w kai all alone cos i always had maid. hmmm, do i lose my cool? well, not at the little ones but occasionally @ kai & a lot @ my mum & hubby. i think for u gals, it's the first child so a lot tt u donno frustrates u. u'll b more relaxed when it comes to the 2nd one.

frankly speaking, i rather dread being alone with V, cos i very scare i can't control myself if she gets on my nerves, but i do enjoy the moments when she's behaving sweet and guai. it's a mixed feel lor. 2nd one? really dun dare to think abt hving another one.

Should be able to juggle PT job. Cos the agent job is mainly to conduct viewings at night and weekends mah. Most prob will work with a partner who can help me with some paper work during the weekdays if required. Will be tough at some points... but boh pianz. Family need the extra income... plus I intend to become agent full time in future.

no la..at least the designs are more unique too..but there again shd be more towards halloween theme too..i did not get anything from there coz it was more on queueing for the attractions in land & it was super crowded when we went..but i love the cooling breezy feel..

Actually my mum has a better method, she roll up some papers (usually some useless pamphlets) and use it to smack K. It's not painful on K and doesn't have to use our palms directly.

Yah... me too. I find that I flare up more easily when I'm having PMS or am really tired out. Then the slightest thing will set me off. Worse is when I start to argue with everyone around me... then I start to throw things. After the whole episode, I sometimes feel like I'm going crazy and in depression. Haiz.

Lucky you... Kai is doing well for his exams. My girl just had her English papers yesterday. Today is Maths and tomolo CL2. Really worried cos her maths really bad espcially problem sums. *aarrgghh* Super stressed. As long as she do her best can liaoz. Only can't tahan when she got careless mistakes and loose marks becos of it.
