Ooops I didnt even know cannot take before/after milk?? I let take abt 30 min after his milk feed last nite. My boy hates the taste, have to like force feed him.

no la... i told u its before + after.. The Yu Ren Seng lady told me to note that cos she mentioned some customers came telling her e powder no use and tts becos they gave e kids milk milk too near to e med

MIL bought from medical hall one .. I think ~$60 for quite a number of packets. So far took 3 packets .. will avoid 1-2 before/after milk feed from now. Only milk feed rite? Porridge okay rite?
 
mummies: i messaged some of u this morning. i'm so sorry, went to the doc last nite & luke has HFMD! the rest who i didn't message: RCB, jinomo, happy, liv & somebody whose name i cannot remember right now - pls take care of your kids & let everybody know if anything happens. i'm really sorry again

olwen, congrate tat u finally able to start doing something tat u wanted to do. I definitly will miss u alots! pls come in often k. btw, do u know califonia baby product. am keen in getting the calming shampoo & body wash for my girl, but it has lavender scent. but my gal has sensitive nose but her nose getting better though. when she was born, her nose easily block esp in the aircon room & she prone to sinus when she a baby. so now not sure the lavender scent will block her nose anot.. can advise me?

ya few months of no work life jus flew by like tat.
ya lor sure ask for more $ but they oso try to bargain aiya so end up both parties meet 1/2 way lor, always like tat wan, haha
 
Hi Everyone,

Today brandon has his first assessment done for his speech therapy. Haven reali start the speech therapy yet. but just assessment on his behaviour. Well, one reliefing thing is he is wary of strangers that is good as doc say he is aware of his surroundings. and doc show him how to bang the brick and he copy. but not for long, brandon keeps crying cause he afraid of doc that he cant be settled down so have to end the session. Overall, doc say she didnt suspect of autism but need to do further test. She did mentioned brandon has behavioural problem which meant bad tantrums and not he don know how to do it but he don want and has no interest with the things. Want us to do "homework". like when he brings the thing to ask us to open for him. We have to say "open" and wait for him to respong. even with the "o" words will also be good. 14 sept will be the development test for his delayed milestone. hopefully with such help, brandon can talk soon.. reali tiring.. the waiting time and trying to soothe brandon whether to see the doc.. i don know how long it will last. hopefully he is just slow.. hopefully he can talk soon and soon no need to go see doc. I didn realise that some many children cant speak. today the speech therapy waiting area so many children. haiz.. so sad to see such scenes.

It's relieving to hear from a professional tt she doesn't suspect autism isn't it? Tts at least 1 hurdle passed!
I've ever been to e child behavioral clinic at SGH and saw lots of children having appt there as well.... And it's getting more and more.
 
Help help! Getting a cake from PG for my niece but dunoe wher to get cake toppers! any shops out there specialise in cake decorators? Dun tink enuf time to search thru web cos it's this coming sat

Dunno issit really true tat there is increase in child behavioral problems in SG, or issit tat parents are more well-informed and concerned nowadays?

Glad to hear that B is getting the necessary help. U don't stress yourself too much, ok?

For further reading n understanding of speech delay, I would like to suggest the book "It takes two to talk". This is a parental guide to help care-givers caring for speech delay kids to incorporate exercises and activities into the child's daily life which might help to improve their speech. The book is rather costly, so u might want to borrow from the library instead. A book review suggest that this book should be used in conjunction with speech therapy by professionals. Hope this helps.

it's God's blessings in who He gives to us as siblings. Maybe it's in His plan, too, that this episode happens during the school hols. Term 4 will be a crucial term preparing for SA 2, ya? Must be tough taking care of all 4.

Yesterday made my hb bring Lucas on his own to Farmart for a walk and feed the goats .. so hb taught him "Feed meh meh" .. this morning when hb ask Lucas to call him .. he says "Feed meh meh".

Lately so difficult to brush teeth for Nini.. She keeps saying Asta brush but bo xim to do it one.. Only put e brush on her men ya but never move.. only suck e paste.. i do for her she also suck suck e paste or bite e brush.. difficult lei. i notice her front teeth gaps a little yellowish liao aargghhhh.. mus b all e tidbits and snack from her grandma!!!!
 
peanut, i actually call up tat ice-cream shop. the lady is very helpful. she actually can add less sugar & cream coz cream very fattening. & children hav difficulty is disgest cream. & she will do some experiment herself before she sell it to u in tub. i cant rem her per tub is how much, but she wont charge extra for this request.

No lah .. but I think he is a very timid boy .. he dun dare to go near .. my hb tried to bring his hands closer for a few times then he dare to feed the meh meh.
