great to see u mummies and kiddos last sat, nice gathering.... if only my V didn't turn terror towards the end we wouldn't hv left earlier, haha

olwen
BIG thanks...
(1) for opening yr hse to us
(2) for the yummy food yr mil cooked
(3) to yr hub's help in juggling the kids while we enjoy the food
(4) to kai's companionship to V, playing with her and feeding her sweets (keke)

& apologies tat V was quite a handful that she insisted to go upstairs to tour yr whole hse and messing up the place by snatching food that she saw and kept popping into the kitchen to wash up.... haiz.

ya, she was really tired that she fell alsp immediately upon entering the cab and napped for almost 2 hrs, haha

morning all!

Olwen, thanks for opening house! nice house hehe... and thanks for cooking all the yummy food. too bad no time to eat cause gt to look after kiddo.

Afternoon mummies,

Had a great time at the gathering and nice to meet all the mummies and kiddos. especially since i hardly come to the forum and not familiar with names/faces so im still a strange face there myself! Brought some home-baked cookies there too but it only adds to the mountainous feast of yummy food already there. Also regretfully had to go off early, so didnt really have time to chat or meet all of the mums who came after..

Olwen
Thanks for hosting us at your beautiful place, with wonderful home-cooked food and yr hubby keeping an eye on the toddlers, as well as the take-home goody bag lol!

happy.gif

Aly_nat: the prescription cream is called Fucicort , its stated as an antibiotic/corticosteroid cream

Peanut: you can try making your own healthy popsicles at home by blending fruits/fresh (or flavoured)milk /yogurt/honey and pour into those popsicle moulds from Daiso, comes in a pack so you blend one time can get 6 ice cream on a stick in yr freezer. my gal loves ice cream too so this is a healthier version for her cos my inlaws also feed her junk ice cream at every outing

Jinomo
i'm not sure if she likes popsicle type but making own icecream is a good idea.. I need exact recipes.. hahaha... u know.. i go by books and correct measurement ones.. dunoe how to aga aga.. mayb shd jus google

peanut
as long as u tell her its ice cream and she can feel for herself its cold then when she taste it...she will be hooked haha. no need so accurate also can but really got alot of recipes on google...i jus throw in some cannot finish fruits blueberries/strawberries and the whole pot of yogurt or yakult or milk or some fruit juice, taste accordingly. its like making smoothie jus that u freeze it into moulds. sometimes i wonder abt sneaking in vegetables to blend in but havent dare try yet keke

jes, lian, Liv, aly_nat: liv's eyes v sharp. well, i wanted to have this gathering also to thank u all for encouraging me so much during my pregnancy, can u imagine our kids r turning 2 soon? w/o ali, fifi & lian egging me on, i don't know how i cld have made it thru the last 2 mths @ on bed rest. when i say "last time", it's becos after my trip in nov, i'll be actively looking to kick-start my career again. i've put it on hold for the last 9 yrs since becoming a first time mother. abt time for me to do something for myself now. means less time in SMH & facebook. so i must make the most of the time now to come in here everyday & c all of u while i am still at aunty lucy.

ya, nut, tri-angel: u gals shd have come.

minky: hope u had enough to eat for 2
happy.gif

But but but.. can you post at least once per week ah?

dear aunty lucy
i will have no motivation to come in here everyday if u not around leh... I look fwd to your long post before i start off my day. My ah ney boss do not like to see me in depression mode =p

But ya lah.. U need to earn more money to finance your big rocking house, and of cos your 4 beautiful children. However, i dun tink a few hrs of kite-flying will take u too much time. hee.. I will sms u if we have wkends outing in t future.

hay, we need to charge your contractors for t 2 trays of eclairs! hehehe... joking la

N oh ya... talking abt egging u on... (did i?) Fifi was admitted yest for regular contractions. Lets pray she and bb are fine, and she carry on to hold on till at least 36wks.
