Good morning mummies!

Thanks olwen for opening up your place to let all of us gather. And thanks for the nice mee siam, chicken wings, sotong balls, pizzas...hehe
Yep, we can meet up for coffee or something like that when we are free. like i say, even after i move to punggol, its not tat far oso leh. hehe.. :p

Was good meeting up and chatting with some of the mummies here again. Hope to have another gathering real soon!

& apologies tat V was quite a handful that she insisted to go upstairs to tour yr whole hse and messing up the place by snatching food that she saw and kept popping into the kitchen to wash up.... haiz.

ya, she was really tired that she fell alsp immediately upon entering the cab and napped for almost 2 hrs, haha

glad u al had a great party! Remm i mentioned not bringing Nini there cos clashed with her nap time? In e end also kena pulled by MIL to go for some family restaurant's food tasting.. -_- So by time she got home and sleep it was already 2.30pm.. Could hav jus brot her to e party instead....
 
Yest so tired.. make Nini orr orr and me myself dozed off at 10pm, my earliest time ever!! Din even bath! Good ting she slept thru till morning.. So i had a good nite sleep.. but am stil feeling tired now!
 
Ice-cream..
eh... jus tinking rather than my MIL secretly giving her icecream behind my back, mayb i shd jus go and get those natural icecream without added sugar, colouring, preservatives for my gal.. Any to recommend?? dunoe if market sell this in tub..

yah lor.. then her sugar content in body is rising as well lor.. Yesterday brot her to MOF for dinner and she saw e icecream and kept crying for it liao.. piangz.. good thing tt one is no sugar preservatives watsoever.. tts y giv me e idea of buying healtier icecreams to be put at home.

nut, there's one ice-cream store @ shaw tower bugis there, they make their own ice-cream in tub. very popular! think u can request no sugar & etc. let me check the name & let u know again..

Afternoon mummies,

Had a great time at the gathering and nice to meet all the mummies and kiddos. especially since i hardly come to the forum and not familiar with names/faces so im still a strange face there myself! Brought some home-baked cookies there too but it only adds to the mountainous feast of yummy food already there. Also regretfully had to go off early, so didnt really have time to chat or meet all of the mums who came after..

Aly_nat: the prescription cream is called <b> Fucicort </b>, its stated as an antibiotic/corticosteroid cream

Peanut: you can try making your own healthy popsicles at home by blending fruits/fresh (or flavoured)milk /yogurt/honey and pour into those popsicle moulds from Daiso, comes in a pack so you blend one time can get 6 ice cream on a stick in yr freezer. my gal loves ice cream too so this is a healthier version for her cos my inlaws also feed her junk ice cream at every outing

i'm not sure if she likes popsicle type but making own icecream is a good idea.. I need exact recipes.. hahaha... u know.. i go by books and correct measurement ones.. dunoe how to aga aga.. mayb shd jus google

as long as u tell her its ice cream and she can feel for herself its cold then when she taste it...she will be hooked haha. no need so accurate also can but really got alot of recipes on google...i jus throw in some cannot finish fruits blueberries/strawberries and the whole pot of yogurt or yakult or milk or some fruit juice, taste accordingly. its like making smoothie jus that u freeze it into moulds. sometimes i wonder abt sneaking in vegetables to blend in but havent dare try yet keke
 
jes, lian, Liv, aly_nat: liv's eyes v sharp. well, i wanted to have this gathering also to thank u all for encouraging me so much during my pregnancy, can u imagine our kids r turning 2 soon? w/o ali, fifi &amp; lian egging me on, i don't know how i cld have made it thru the last 2 mths @ on bed rest. when i say "last time", it's becos after my trip in nov, i'll be actively looking to kick-start my career again. i've put it on hold for the last 9 yrs since becoming a first time mother. abt time for me to do something for myself now. means less time in SMH &amp; facebook. so i must make the most of the time now to come in here everyday &amp; c all of u while i am still at aunty lucy.

jes, liv: the eclairs v nice! my contractor came to fix something w the plumbing after u all left &amp; they took the 2 remaining trays back! they always come to my house near to meal time &amp; eat free :p
