sorry i wasnt meant to add onto ur worries when i tok abt e programe i saw. Other then feeling puzzled, I pity e parents who looked so exhausted and the kid who can't seem to b able to accept e real world.
i'm sure ur boy doens't react so extreme like e boy in e documentary.. he jus havent mastered enough speech skill to express wat he wans.. And I;ve heard quite a bit abt this problem.. My fren said she din talk until 3+.. her parents tot she was deaf.. And my nephew also only start toking at ~3.. before tt he jus blabber and din tok much plus little eye contacts - until my SIL also suspected he was autistic and broke down a few times.. But now he's 1 of the top students in Pri school and my fren is doing v well in IT industry =)

honey: i tried giving brandon's honey. I got the honey from Naturefarm called the Manuka +5. say the honey give antibodies to the young children wor. so far i give him add water mix honey (1tsp) a day.. okie le.. no reaction. is that right now i stopped as he got flu and cough, got phlegm. old pp say got phlegm cannot eat sweet thing... don know.
haircut: my HB cut bb hair. we usually put him at high chair, on his fav dvd and play while my hb cut his hair.. haha.. so far okie le.. we got the baby shaver so very easy and fast.. some more after cut can bath already.. very convenient.
highchair: my boy got a very frightening habit.. even with seatbelt on, he can struggle his way out of the seatbelt and tried to stand on the highchair.. headache.. and i also notice nowadays want to feed him very difficult.. cannot seat still, want to come out of his highchair.`

I was also once v worried my gal will be ADHD cos at 1 point, she fits into most of the signs as an infant:

ya thank u for your explanation... u r not adding oil to my worries, u r just trying to tell me wat u had observed in daily life, n wat u saw from the prog. it's great tat we can all share information.
regarding some kids (girl/boy) talk at age of 3: ya some kids r really like that wor. my elder sis in the past oso dun talk, my mummy thought she was mute loh. but after going to pri sch, wa piang!!! totally changed. my friend has been telling me, those who start talking early of course gd lah, but those who start late doesn't mean not as clever as the one who started early. 'clever' now dun mean in the future oso 'clever'. she ask me not to worry, as long as my boi understand wat i talking then is fine. but my boi boi sometimes listen only.. faint!
ADHD, yes, best diagnosed when start proper schooling (p1 onwards), coz for what i koe, now kids all v active, too active. some ppl say is normal, n say u rather them active than diam diam sit there right? think about it, true lah, i rather our kids move ard, but of course cannot b too wild lah. =)

Lucia, my girl fell twice yesterday, and bumped into a corner of a table too. Bruise at t corner of her eye. Was a day of mishaps. haha

My gal went into a room filled with Sabun on the floor, slipped and fall onto the back of her head.. PONG.. loud loud PONG... haiz.. so i need to monitor her again.. Maid gena scolded by MIL again.. told her next time wash floor with sabun please close the door..
And 1 of my gal's front tooth kaput liao!! tt day was playing with her and while she laughing away.. PIANG! how come her front tooth chipped liao!! Asked MIL and she said mus b earlier she at void deck hit her mouth against the stone chair -_-" Angryz lei.. Now she has to live with that chipped tooth until it drops in another mayb 5yrs time!!

My son too. Fell from his train, got hit by the handle onto his cheek on sat. Then yesterday, he fell off from his car, reckless driver ard the house.
Now he has 2 blue black, 1 on left eye brow (near eye) and 1 on right cheek.
wat to do? Kids are like that. Can't tie them up.

The bruise on my girl forehead (result of t fall from bed incident 2 wks ago) just cleared. Now got a new bruise beside t eye.
I was telling my hub tat its oredi lucky she didnt knock right into the eye!

Monitor ur gal's front tooth at all times. My niece fell and hurt one of her front tooth, also chipped. As times goes by, my niece has been complaining of tooth pain and that front tooth spoilt and turn dark greyish in colour. Dentist recommend to wait until that front tooth drop in 1-2yrs time, meanwhile give her special kind of toothpaste/gel to apply everyday. Now see her tooth only, really nt pretty gal liao.

Its not really v obvious if you see from a distance.. will only notice when you look at it closely.. tts y tt time we played for quite some while before i noticed e chipped tooth..

I had a very lousy lunch! Colleague bought back laksa from Singapore Discovery Centre ... diluted laksa gravy with one prawn and fish cakes. Super not satisfied.

Usually stay-at-home mum with two kids can go maidless, else either stay with in-laws who can help out with hsework or employ part-time maid.

Even with PT maid, i tink quite difficult to handle 2 kids + maintaining work-life balance

well, i cannot advise u there cos i have had TWO maids since i had more than 1 kid. i think only if u put both in full time infant care & child care. especially your hubby has to work so hard.
glad_gal: u so young married for 10 years already??? i got married a few months later than u & my boy already 9 yrs old. wah, u really enjoyed ur couple-hood. so nice. congrats. greg better now?
choomama: yup. my biggest & youngest boy r like tt too. cry & cry @ the barber. but my luke allows his mama to cut his hair. kai kept wriggling till my MIL cut lobang all over his head. got to wear cap till it grew out again. don't worry. this kind, they scream till it's over then no more problem. it's the ones who keep quiet then a few days wonder why they have no more hair who will have issues. like my poor G now. he keeps rubbing his head with tt puzzled look.

Mummies ... I'm curious if all our toddlers are already going to childcare or playgroup (few hrs kind)?
Still hesitating whether to send Lucas to childcare now so he can learn something or let him stay at home till 2.5yo then send him to playgroup next Apr.
My cousin send his son to Agape childcare since 18mths old and he has learnt alot from there but their neighbour's son went to My First Skool since 18mths but until now 5yo, he does not know his alphabets well at all. I'm not concerned now as which childcare is better but is it the right time now to send them to childcare to pick some skills rather than my boy staying at home and following the maid, watching what she does whole day.

I wanted to reply you since THE DAY BEFORE!
It will be very very tough and tiring on both parents if they are both working and not staying with parents. However, I believe there are some mummies here who are in the situation you have mentioned .. sure they can tell you how they feel.
