So good that they don't nurse to sleep. Looks like Rachelle is the only one with the habit to nurse to sleep. She doesn't want to drink FM from the cup as well. I think she prefers full cream milk to FM. WHen she latches, she really drinks and for quite some time.

She more attached to me. LAst night i tried to hide under the blanket n asked hb to pat her to sleep and told her mi mi not around. She went out to the hall n rooms to look for me.. How did V got HFMD? She goes to PG?
I went to sign up for PG for R at Kindercom, somewhere near my place. Starting 1st July. The environment quite nice and both my nieces attend classes there n they are both so happy. Wanted to enrol R in Tots House next to my block but the kids there are so out of control and keep hearing the teacher screaming at them.

thanks! so wakodo FM not suitable for 17mth old? i am just concerned coz my girl is intolerant to fish (she will start puking, very sad..) and it contains fish oil. it is expensive eh?? but if it is good and not as heaty as usual FM, i dun mind to try..

is any mummy giving milk feed via straw cup? need some advice on how to prepare the milk..=P

The fetching to n fro quite headache, if u go work then maybe ask ur maid or mil to send T to sch. Semb still walkable, woodlands then u may have to arrange for school bus.

when i read ur post regarding Nini's constipation, it was sooooo similar to mine. My girl has been constipated for a few times and she was like Nini, try to push/kek her poo, crying so badly and pitiful but just couldnt come out, but most of the time can see the (head) of the poo, just that she dun have the strength to exert it out! I also insert the bullet but it just slipped out!
I gave her fruits almost everyday and also load her with at least 2 servings of vege per meal. So i conclude that she dun drink enough water and seek advise from some mummies. She was on GAIN IQ as well, so i dilute her milk by another 30 to 60ml of water and forced her to drink water now and then. And the situation has been greatly improved nowadays
So nini's case could be Hou ning powder that causes her.. Wow, that day went to EYS, 1 tube of Hou ning powder cost $60+! Didnt know it was so ex... Is Nini getting better after taking it and how many she took?

I latch on my boy most of the time and i remember that when i was trying to wean him off and gave him FM in bottle, he will cry and come near me wants to find my neinei, but i am very lucky that he accepts fm in bottle pretty easily without much hassle! So be patient

no lah, juz prefer Aly to be in a mission school. the school academic standard ma ma hu hu, but I like the fact that they place emphasis on character development, and have a wide CCA selection.

i'm looking into alternative now.. mil have jus recently started work.. so only have maid to do the picking up... do they have a schedule of their PG? i saw from other thread they mentioned they also have 3.5hr one.. R wil attend for 6mths? or til she can go nursery?
i hav headache now. Mil recently just start work. cos left maid to jagar. den once i deliver #2 in Aug, i shld be starting work from oct or nov onwards. then on, how my maid cope.. bring #2 out to fetch #1? or shld i put him to CC full day once i start work. i am more worried of him on his eating habit lor.....he dont really eat alot one.. the teacher where got time to jagar ... alamak.. alot worries !!!

hv lah. Aly already accepted by the school of our choice (verbally). They wanna see her year end results for final acceptance. Then again hor, we can only rely on the school that much lah. At the end of the day, it's still the home environment and upbringing that goes a long way.

So no choice, I decide to stay home full time till bb is old enough to talk n complain. At least if maid beat her, she can tell. I'm a SAHM, but not by choice. But being at home, I can teach my kids on my own, save some $$ sending #2 to classes. Good bonding. Ever thot of staying home??

Jus enrolled BBA into PG, 2hrs each lesson and 3days/week. So far i'm surprised with the teachers feedback. Cos he seems to be very well behaved and can sit still for a whole storybook/puppet session!
He can barely keep still at home for 5 mins. -_-
Not sure if its bcos he see and he follows the jie jie and kor kor in class thats why..

hello mummies... feeling abit lethargic now, lost slp last nite, woke at 7+ go market (my 1st time to a wet market, wooo...), come back napped a while then now up again, haywire timing after being not working, alamak.

V doesn't attend any PG or CC at all, so i reckon she mus hv caught the virus at the playground where MIL always bring her during evening time. but luckily hers was a mild case so heng lor. she's almost recovered but we still avoid bringing her out to crowded places just in case.

If ur maid going to handle 2 i think it's not going to be easy for her. Maybe T can go to full day cc, then u can send him when u go work n pick him up when u knock off. Then maid can take care of baby. The Joy montessori at the Sembhdb branch like not bad. The Victoria family centre near ur home also got CC right? Maybe can go check it out, nearer to ur place and save time ferrying T.
The Kindercom has 3 hrs PG. I will let R try it out first, if the ferrying part is ok and she's happy then i will let her stay longer. I have to walk 15-20mins to Kindercom.

I went Eu Ren Sang complained.. They say not possible cos their babaosan and houning are 清热 one.. wont cause constipation -_-.. I gave my gal jus 1 bottle of houning then followed by babaosan.. Her flu/cough looks ok now thou once in a while stil cough a bit which will make me jump high high..
Problem with my gal she doens't like prune juice and papaya!!! sianz... her poo poo lately slightly better but stil considered hard type.. this morning her sai not a lot and all small small ones like round grapes.. I jus bot lactus from pharmacy may let her try if things dun improve. the pharmacist recommend this say its mild (take 2/3 days to take effect) and is not laxatives.. Anyone else tried this before for kids?

congrats in having a 2nd prince! hope u hv a smooth pregnancy till u pop..for me, i was really excited in getting a 2nd prince..reason is bcoz so that my IL will be fair to both boys & not just be bias to the elder one..hope T gets well soon..Brod also very hard to sleep at one position & will para-para at night frm 1 end of the bed to the other end of the bed..

when i m at home, i will use hot water to rinse the milk bottles or drinking bottle or even pacifier..end of day then i sterilize once..maybe rinse with hot water & soak for a moment before u use that to make FM for ur kiddo?there will be indication of water at how many ml, then scoop the amt of FM based on feeding amt..but hor i will use a chopstick to stir leh coz the goat FM is harder to dissolved..

oh ur MIL went back to work? not gg to "help" u look aft them ah..even thou i know she also nver helped much but at least certain days..hmm..if u r gg to park T in full day cc, then i rather u do so before u pop..so that he wont "feel" left out or push away when the new addition comes along..in a way, at least u still get to "watch" him or monitor him while u can now to train him getting used to full day cc..hw's andrew's view to this?

when i m at home, i will use hot water to rinse the milk bottles or drinking bottle or even pacifier..end of day then i sterilize once..maybe rinse with hot water & soak for a moment before u use that to make FM for ur kiddo?there will be indication of water at how many ml, then scoop the amt of FM based on feeding amt..but hor i will use a chopstick to stir leh coz the goat FM is harder to dissolved..

R weaned herself off pacifier before she turned 1 yr. She's on partial BFing since birth and all along, i intro at least a feed of FM daily during her infant time. When she is 10 mths old, i stop expressing n only latch her at night, rest of the feeds she takes well to FM. Only about 3-4 weeks ago, she kept latching n latching..asking for nei nei during the day as well until my supply came back AGAIN..lol. I tried again last night n i left her to cry... she can't stop crying. very persistent and yes then i bobian got to give in n she zonked out in mere minutes.

thanks! i have stopped sterilizing my girl's stuff, even her drinking cup. hahah..=P but i think i will at least use hot water to give the cup for making FM a rinse when i start to make it for her. =)

i do work full time but i am sort of on flexi hours, but in general i am at work from morn till bout 245pm and then i work the rest from home if necessary. this means skipping gg out for lunch to try to get as much done as poss. but it means so much to be able to spend that extra few hrs with my girl even tho she would be napping right aft i am back from work. yeah, sometimes i do wish i have someone to clean and cook for me everyday! it can be so tiring juggling looking after an active tot and keeping the house in order while getting my work stuff done. but i hv no complains, just wished i could sneak in more time with my girl!hehehe...

the mummies at my #1 thread gave to the kiddos when they are too heaty esp when drinking FM..seems to help them to pass out more easily or smoothly accordingly..maybe u can chk out with the medical hall u frequently visit to ask abt this..

icic..ya..give it a try ba..i did try out to let brod take FM from his drinking mug when he was with hfmd earlier coz his ulcers was on the tougue & he kinda refused to drink from milk bottles..but aft he got well, he's back to using milk bottles..wah..so nice that u hv a flexible working hrs..even thou by the time u r back ur girl is asleep, u get some "time-off" for urself too..or at least while u r done with keeping the house in order, she's awake & u can spend qty time with her too...

peanut: My gal also constipated the other day bled in the backside area, gave honey dilute with water and cut up plums into small pieces for her. Did help a bit. Daily fruit intake is impt as I did not give fruits for a long time.
