soho, ya lor. sometimes really duno wat to do when they get out of hands. punish too hard on them also cannot. explaining also cannot coz too young. recently i juz use playpen as a punishment area which mean she cannot come out & play if she's naughty. cruel mummy. 
hehee...scared of umbrella & wiper... something new. i think its a matter of time when our children get used to the 'weird' sounds. sometimes i want to laugh when seeing my gal scared of tis & tat.

got... school got prepare delicious and nutricious porridge for lunch, and steamed veggie/fruit puree as afternoon snack.. so we usually will bring the cereal and fruit cube and ask the caregiver to feed him b4 we bring him back - save the hassle of feeding him at home *grin*

ah kiki, curious... how does t school deals with tantrum-throwing kids? Positive discipline?

yah i did notice Rachel is the quieter one.. doesn't like to mix around? But tell you people will change as they grow.. Like my sis she last time younger like got 自闭.. always alone by herself and din talk much.. but as she enters poly wah totally changed.. become more sociable than me liao..

glad ur boy begins walking.. jus let him practice all the time.. get him a proper walking shoe and encourage him to walk without support but with you guys near him for sense of security. Soon you'll start feeling tired cos you'll hav to follow and chase him around! like me!! -_-"

Is fighting over toys considered one? Usually their caregivers will separate them and use something else to distract them. They dun cane definitely.
Based on our frequent 'peeping' and observation, we hardly see BBQ throwing tantrum there leh (either read/flip book, walking/KP around, playing, eating, sleeping)..
Sometime he do whine abit when we leave him there, but usually settle down quickly when his favourite caregivers come over (yeah he has few favourite one)
i think one main reason is probably due to most infant care/child care are not 1 to 1 so the caregivers are quite occupied...
u know our kids/babies are attention seeker, so if no one 100% focus on them they will not whine to seek attention one... that's what I think cos I do noticed BBQ whines more at home! -_-

Brot my rascal to her 1st trial lesson last sat at Little Nuero Tree.. Not too bad.. quite a bit of activities but some are stil not within their ability like matching game and recognizing animal's babies.. like cow/calf? horse/foal.. wah how they know.. so in e end also mostly done by mummies -_-" She more intersted in singing sessions and some of the acitvities. Flashcards she see a while nia than wan to get down from chair. Nex week one is in Japanese.. me wont b around in Spore, doubt she'll b interested anyway cos can't understand a shit they toking abt!

My gal having serious case of constipation! Sat and Sun can't poo poo.. see her sqeeze like hell also cun come out.. v kelian.. Then last nite put e bullet like wax into her pigu but stil not much help.. she was crying away like wan to pang but cannot come out.. Wah.. see liao v heartpain cos can see she's like giving out all her strength + red face + crying + sweating.. Really reminded me of someone giving birth.. yah.. it's that bad.. In e end MIL hav to carry her to the toilet bowl and dunoe how she do it squeeze from wher than 2 round sai pop out..
Haiz.. then they keep saying its becos i gave her houning and babaoshan during her flu/cough.. I felt angry they like putting blame on something i did but i mus admit i can't think of anything that could hav causes this.. cos last time she no problem in pang sai one.. I went to Zoo-phonics at serangoon central on sat, wanting to enroll my boy in both their weekday playgroup and also their weekend enrichment class, but their weekend classes are all fully booked. so no choice, can only enroll him for the weekday playgroup nia. very funny, they very strict in terms of the toddler's age, cannot start earlier, only can start when toddler is 18 months old.
at least your gal won't scream or cry like my boy, so she's still a good gal.

ur gal got constipation ah? got try to eat papaya? my boy usually will poo poo alot after he consumes papaya or apple. your gal needs to drink lotsa water too. and before my boy sleeps each nite, i will lay him down on the bed and massage his tummy in a clockwise direction. just a while will do, and usually he'll poo poo the next day effortlessly.

My detailed scan at 20 weeks. Now only 14 weeks. But coz the gynae that did my oscar test knows my hubs, he specially help us check the gender. Heehee. He say very likely male lah coz can see but to be sure, he say wait for subsequent scans.
My new job scope is a lot busier. See how often I come into forum and MSN you know le. But I feel more relaxed here coz my boss is nice compared to my previous AD.

its been a while since i logged in here.
Any mummies here giving Wakodo FM to your tot? I think I am finally gonna give my girl a try. there are so many brands to choose from! But i think i might try with Wakodo since i have read that it is less heaty and closer to BM. =P

my girl has stopped taking cereal for a long time already. she got real bored of it. but she eats regular oats for breakfast most days. usually with some bread, yogurt etc. she is pretty much taking regular food (as long as it is manageable for her to chew as she only has 6 teeth!).

ah..now 14wks liao..can tell gender liao..i meant it's boy la..hehe..when i had Mav, ard wk 12th i got 80% confirmation on the gender..then during my next visit on 15th wk, gynae confirmed the gender all the way till i delivered..
when i had brod, ard wk 15th i got to tell from gynae, it was pretty "exciting" because i wanted a 2nd boy & it was rather "nervous"..actully wanted to keep the gender of brod to myself till i delivered but at the very moment, hubby opened gynae's door and got to hear from him "live"..argh..lol..
anyway, for brod, i did not reveal gender except to all mummies here & my #1 thread mummies..hehe..my IL were all guessing the gender to be a girl till the very day i delivered..they were all surprised when hubby showed them the video of brod..lol..

My gal pang sai yest liao.. not say v hard i heard from mil.. But it seems like after e constipation episode she having phobia when coming poo poo time.. put her on potty nia she cry.. haiz.. hope it wont b for long.

My gal is a water bb!!! she drinks more water than milk.. tts y strange lei how come she constipates.. Ruyi oil can only put once a while.. Tt time i keep putting for her in e end her tummy area all rashes took a week or so to recover.. So now i dun dare to put so often liao.

i dunoe yet.. only went for 1st trial class.. jus feel e jap class a bit 废 lei.. Thou they say it'll help them take in another foriegn language but i seriously doubt my gal wil bother to listen at all! Wil bring her to the chinese class after my beijing trip and assess from ther see how.. Depend on whether my fren continuing as well.. My gal is fren fren with her daughter.. wahaha....

peanut: My toddler is in schichida, she doesnt like the lessons at all, ever lesson 5 mins will wanna point the door and get out. U know how wasted my effort and $$...sigh

maybe u can check out this "Nu-Nai-Liang" from medical hall..i know some of my mummies girlfriends also bot for the kids to drink, then will not be as constipated easily..maybe u can try to chk it out..but glad that she poo..hehe..i think it's gd tat nini has a fren bubby attdg the class too..at least got company too..hehe..

i have not started weaning her, but she does ask for "nin nin" now esp in the morning. its really cute coz she loves to touch and play with my face, etc when feeding and its just such a close bonding time. but as i have a work event later this year which i may have to be away from her for 2-3 days hence i was thinking may be good time to start weaning her.

Few days ago i jus bought flashcard vcd from kiddy palace.. she also watch a while then lost attention liao.. i've to catch her back in front of the TV.. haiz.. ah bor.. she'll take her tutu and chaochao lie down on the bed and watch.. majiam more intersted in resting than learning wor..
