Me have not got the house keys yet lah coz our 1st appt is on the 19th April, which is abt 2 weeks away from now. guess our 2nd appt will be sometime in june or july when we'll collect the keys.
very long wait neh..haiz..
got something to ask mummies here..
i recently found out that my boy snores during his sleep. not very loud type but still able to hear it quite clearly. any of your kids snores too? should it be a concern?

When I bring him out, he take whatever and refuse let go, I will juz take away from him straightaway even if he get angry. But not junk food! Most weekdays, FIL will bring Lucas pick MIL frm work where she sells snacks! And everytime he go there, he will jus take a pack of chips, MIl will juz pay for it!
Maybe I wont give her face liao ... if she rescue and carry him, I will carry him away from her and go to the room and talk to him.

haha..yah, most probably he is sort of 'play-safe' kinda person. but actually hor, i'm abit sianz on the whole house purchasing thingy, coz both my hubby and myself have to fork out abt $50K in cash for this house. really have to tighten our belts for the coming years liao..

snore or breathe loud loud? u mean really snore like an adult? My gal sometimes hav.. but for a short while and not loud.. tot its quite ok and normal?

hi moomummy, Congrate for your love nest! where ur new house will be? wow, u forked out 50K! tat alots! wat does the $50K include? last year, the i forked out $5k for cash for the previous owner. i spend abt $15k on furnitur & renovate the two toilet.

moomummy, wat kind of loan did u take up? Bank or HDB loan. if u take up bank loan, it more easier & faster, but if u take up HDB loan, it 4 to 6 weeks time coz HDB take longer time to process. and u can also ask the previous owner do they mind to speed up the 2nd appt date. if both parties agreed, the agent then will check with the HDB to speed things up.
moomum, buy resale flat is like tat de, esp now when the market is still pretty "hot". when we purchase our flat in jul 08 we oso got to fork out quite abit, and till now sometimes i still kept tinking if its worth it?! and not to say i've been cursing HDB ever since for making it difficult for us the 1st time buyers else we wouldn't need to turn to resale mkt...

well $50K includes the COV($28K), the agent's commission($4K+) and also 5% downpayment of the flat($22K)..which works out to be abt $54K in total. Lucky thing is that we do not need to do much on the renovation, just abit of touch-up coz the condition of the house is quite okay and new to us.
We took up a bank loan and it's already been approved. i don't think my hubby would want to speed things up as he's not in a hurry to move into our new place. at least not during this year. coz he said tiger year not a good year to move house. *Scratch head*

yah lor.. re-sale HDB flats nowadays are really not affordable at all. but no choice, we have to get our own house to be able to have more space/room for our little ones. staying with parents/parents-in-law can be advantageous, but in long term, we still need some privacy of our own. Actually, seeing the 'hot' market situation now, i would say i'm quite lucky to pay $28K for the COV coz alot of house owners are asking for at least $40K now.

Who bot the Positive Discipline book??
I bot and nearly done with it left with last 2 chapters which i dun feel like carrying on anymore.. Its reeeeeeeally Pooooositive discipline lor.... Everything is about being nice and firm.. Cannot yell, scream, spank the tod, and can't even say No... -_- Best to use actions and not words.. Piangz.. i tried my best to follow e advise but found i wil go crazy and die early.. Felt like tearing e book and dump into the rubbish bin.. There was once i like gena released from jail like that, said NO almost 50times to her and i felt super duper relieved after that. Now i'm back to my usual disciplinary methods thou i stil bear in mind some of the things in book which i do agree and wil remind myself to do that..
Sometimes this jus dun make a lot of sense.. most of us grew up from traditional disciplinary methods (of cos not those extreme type which i also disagree) but we stil become good people except for some black sheeps.. Whereas crime rates are higher in ang mo countries who believe more in teaching with love.. umm...

like... for eg.. if outside she's meddling with things, instead of saying "No you can't do this/that", just carry her away without need of saying anything.. Actions speaks louder than words.. I find this stil ok and i do use this method sometimes.. but in some other instances i stil find it really hard not to say NO and warn her sternly.. Like when she anyhow throw tantrum stil expect me to be kind and firm?? Cant even use the naughty corner lei.. wah... cannot lor.. i not that type of people..

if u no time to go medical hall, eu yan seng also sell the pre-pack ones for relieving cough..but not sure if u still need to add on pear since it's pre-pack already with the chuan bei, nan xing & bei xing + this "orange dried pan-cake" i suddenly forgot the name..oh..is the positive thinking book thick?

mayb i'll go medical hall tomm ask abt the chuan bei powder.. tink add pear better ba.. make e drink sweeter and nicer also.. my gal does seem to be better thou haven fully recovered.. hope it'll continue to improve..

Even fish also discouraged. She said some people go back and say how come e powder not effective then found out becos they giv milk milk

hey jes, lian, snnowy, moomum, jo, RCB, wtan: they're seated backwards actually. i shd have put ig (do) first from the left. tt much i know after his 4 yrs of lessons. but it's a pain to make him practise. he started w yamaha psfc. most mummies send their kids for JMC. v soon your kids can go too.

no leh.my parents-in-law's place is quite small leh. sometimes i would be quite frustrated just to find some space to keep our things. I was telling my hubby all the time that we needed more space, but he din get it until one day, he found difficulties in packing our stuff up. then he finally learnt to accept the fact that we needed more space/room.
