For me... When the contraction starts, I look at my watch and note the time. Then when it ends, look at watch again to note time. From this, you'll know how long and how far apart your contractions are. But this is the initial stage only lah... later when the contractions come faster and much harder, I can't be bothered liaoz. Will jus to hospital and let the hospital take charge. hehehehhehe... so pain already can't be bothered to count lah.
The contraction pain will not go away means... for BH contractions, if you stand up and walk around, it will subside and then no more liaoz. Whereas for real contractions, it will subside but come back quite fast and be more intense. No matter what you do, real contractions will come and go at a more regular time and become more painful too.
