wow, everyone is going for detailed scan!! thats so nice! can i ask a silly qn, what the difference between a detailed scan and a normal scan? I'll have to wait till i see my gynae in 2 weeks to ask him about arranging a DS.

Gd morning ladies! woke up to bb kicking me! my hb finally felt it for the first time! his reaction so funny. asked me if bb got muscles yet..

Ya man, the areola are getting a bit horrible now... eeeee. i see liao also a bit turned off.

In the first trimester, I had it almost every wk.. quite frustrating cos that time doc say cannot do.. now can liao but no mood. sigh..
Haru, be careful of ur wt ok? try healthier substitutes like fruits.
Olwen, ooh so u are a legal officer.. ur son must be very very excited abt the impending arrival? have u bought anything for ur triplets yet?

sigh..my pair's so saggy that i dun want to look at them when bathing..sigh..sad to say..why bf mums will get such breasts one..not encouraging at all..

wow..so nice of the mummy with triplets u shared the blog with..so r u gg to use that CL this time round?i think some mummies-to-be will experienced the flakes leh..think some of them use some baby oil to relieve the "flakes"..u r soo slim..envy..envy..

glad to hear that all is fine for u..aiyo..the dr doing detailed scan went back then u got to go down again on mon ah..alamak..but at least all is well too..that day also i got a scare coz i cant feel movements at all..then qwickly changed my appt from 21 Jun to 16 Jun..lucky all is well..phew..Dr say didi got space to move..then at the same time hv to make appt to do my detailed scanning lor..for my #1, my gynae did it for me at the usual appt..

actually my dad's mum (my grandma) is a pair of twins herself but none of her kids (she has 8 children) are twins & also me not having twins too leh..althou hb everytime ask if maybe one is hiding behind the current one..haha..so was it a 1st attempt for u?hw much did u spend to get the whole process done?

Yup, booked FA Scan @ RH liao... Dr Koh said thou he does chk for abnormalities in his routine scans, its better we go for detailed one at RH. Mine is on 4th Jul.

bear: your stomach is so small! i am 19 weeks & look like 26. my son is v v happy. he has been asking for mei mei a long time already. yes, must admit i been buying a few things already. no choice becos i cannot shop after 27 weeks & sales r on now. also, my MIL gave my son's things to my niece. has anybody started buying things yet?

yes, i will be on bed rest from 28 weeks onwards. my boss is v unhappy but i don't care. i've earned it.
wtan: yes, once is an experience enough already. we spent just over $6K i think but doesn't include the check-ups after tt & the additional jabs i had to take becos of the bleeding. plus i have to go ttsh for the hyper-thyroid. but i'm trying to claim tt part from my co insurance. v poor & heart-pain. but still gian to buy things from babymall.

i agree with u abt the breasts after BFg... so sad...for me, not that it sagged...the nips sagged i felt but the size of the breasts shrinked until much smaller then prior to pregnancy... now preg again so happy lah... but i don't dare to think when i stop breastfeeding again... what will happen to them

i agree with u abt the breasts after BFg... so sad...for me, not that it sagged...the nips sagged i felt but the size of the breasts shrinked until much smaller then prior to pregnancy... now preg again so happy lah... but i don't dare to think when i stop breastfeeding again... what will happen to them

when i m having my #1..i didnt do FA Scan before..only this #2 then he kinda make it compulsory..hee..i guess it will be nice to go thru the scan too..then at least i will know wat is the detailed scan abt..hee..my next appt with him is on 7 Jul to review the results..keke..

icic..so overall, u spend abt $6k for this arrangement..i was thinking like $10k or something..but indeed v lucky to get triplets since most i heard is twins..r they identical or fraternal?nice that u can get to claim back..then at least not that heavy on the cost too..the happy thing is u will get diff genders...hope u get to know the gender or the last bb & update us..so sweet..since nw ur #1 is 7yo..he can also helped out in caring for the triplets..this is nice too..anyone helping u to take care of them when u retn back to work?

Those who promised to do homework better do ya? That Minkybear said she will do, but haven't seen it yet.. now dunno where she disappeared to. actually its a gd gauge to see how we are developing.. Motivate those who cannot gain wt to try gaining more and those who wanna slow down wt gain to cut down on snacks.
Olwen, how abt big items like cots and such? would u need 3 cots??! got space to put? then stroller leh? would u be getting those tandem strollers? I can only imagine the amt of milk bottles u have to buy!!! i guess u live in a landed/ private property?

I just did my detailed scan yday. Spent abt 30 mins. The doc did a more thorough scan involving each of the different parts and organs of bb. Recording the measurements and see if there's any abnormalities. Details like head circumference, limbs measurement, heart(whether all the valves are close properly) to see if bb got hole in heart, internal organs like stomach, kidneys,pancrea. Count how many toes and fingers bb have. Check nostril and the lips to see if bb have cleft lips.. and spine as well and etc.
it's just scanning as usual but just tat doc spent more time looking at all the specific areas. Nothing much to worry about.

olwenlim, i know what u mean.. we should all wear tight tight clothes and show others our tummy.. haiz~ went to IT show, so angry.. keep pushing for wat i also dunno =/ luckily hubby see situation not right den decided to leave the exhibition hall.. i think, the worst is when taking MRT, gonna be careful~

not too bad for a new one. also there is this shop at Upper Cross St. Everything cheaper than dept stores (even aft discount). U can buy in bulk too. I think for the stroller, their prices is cheaper than wat u can get even if u use ur vouchers. Like the Maclaren Techno i wanna get, if get from dept store, shd be $660. at such wholesaler, its abt $470! they have everything there. milk bottles too.. so i think for ur case u shd check this out.
