its a super blue monday for me... almost whole dept enjoying themselves in prague now and i'm stuck in spore on my own choice -_- And my hubby is stil out of town for the 3rd week.. stil got a week before he comes back
 


mommies under Dr Joycelyn Wong - TMC. I jus found out she may be able to deliver at Mt Alvernia as well.. i'll confirm with her nex visit. If yes i may choose Alvernia as the maternity package looks cheaper than TMC! and heard the service is much better as well.
 
hi ladies,
i am back at work today after my trip to bali. the holiday was really great and a nice break for hubby and i. we really felt relaxed througout the trip and it was a nice time for us to spend as a couple too. there is prob too much posts for me to catch up on, wil just read as much as i can when i hv the time!
 
pkum> mainly CL to cook for u & help take care of bb?? ur mom cant help u?? she is working?? if not , food wise u can cater. for day CL notin much. cos mainly pple will engage CL. at night help to look after bb so u can rest more.
 
Morning...I am having a bad ulcer and getting very heaty, can anyone advice any remedies as I am not able to take any "cool" stuffs. Sob sob.Now even biting is a problem. Sigh

sometimes preg is like that.. when i have JOvial i so breathless suddenly till nearly black out and cry leh.. coz cannot breath.. very scary like wan to die

ya..is like that one..usually MIL will listen to hb more than us one..lol..try to get a maid for her lo..u also dun want her to next time say things like ur kid made her soo busy that she cant hv time to take gd care of her health etc..blah blah..with the extra pair of hands will surely be helpful one..even on nightfeed..maid can help out too..

Thanks for ur concern ladies... i felt like i couldn't breathe, like there was some pressure on my chest lor.. some more we were at Toy R Us picking up a present. went outside to escape from the noise, next thing i know, my ears started to ring and my vision turned black. heng there was an empty seat and i immed sat down lor. when i got home i immediately KO for 2 hrs..

Hui, are u on mc then? shd take and rest more ya? heard ppl with kids fall sick more often!

Jynnsan, don't over do it leh... eat everything in moderation. rem there are lots more factors other than diet than can affect ur bb's health. Like genes and environmental pollution. if u are heaty and suffering, that shows ur body is out of whack liao..

Hello ladies!!!

Monday blue again....sian...dont feel like coming in to work, but managed to drag myself. Work have been really busy and stressful, feel like quiting and rest at home, but think abt the 3 months maternity leave, will endure!!

Went shopping over the weekends...bought 2 pants at Spring maternity, they have promo, 2nd pants for 40% less. Not bad. ^^ Also bought the breast pumps and 3 milk bottle. 20% discount at metro. Now looking at stroller and playpen...very headache as dont know gender yet, so dont know what colour to choose. This morning when I lie down on my bed, I can feel the baby move the position....very weird feeling...hee...

Carol, what brand of breast pump did u buy ah? i was at Mothercare at Habourfront. they were selling Medela PIS at $754!!! I also have been feeling weird movements in my tummy.. but i keep thinking its kinda early to be feeling the movements leh.. only 15 wks today.

I bought the Avent Manual breat pump....my sis and ex colleagues used that and its one of the best and most reasonably priced. DOnt think I want to invest in a Medela, as I am only planning for 1 child.

Hee....the feeling is really weird and when I put my hand on my tummy when I am lying down, I can feel the position of the baby cause its bulging out, so can feel the bulge moving.
 
Just to let you ladies know, Kiddy Palace have 15% storewide sale and 20% for member. So if you need to buy baby / children stuffs, its shopping time. ^^

i brought cocoa butter from body shop last saturday. i find it sticky after applying. but it's v gd for dry skin. my leg's mapped skin look gd after applying. very supple. tink due to this den it helps to prevent stretch mark bah.. super moisture.. haa...

No problem to take cooling stuff, but not too much lar. Mum will boil barley, water chestnut or chrysanthemum once a week for the whole family and I will get to drink also. ^^ I hate sorethroat, so I know how you feel. Take care!!

when i have Jovial i poo everyday in the morning leh but this one i go consitpation.. 2 days nvr poo then yesterday evening stomach pain till buay tahan! This morining also.. went grandma hse market for breakfast.. eat half way stomach pain till nearly cant finish my food.. after finish my food , kopi onli drink 3-4 mouth nia run back to grandma hse for toliet.. make me late for work abt 10 mins

I guess if you have no rooms available, asking maid to sleep in living room cant be helped. If you attended the online MOM maid employment course, you are told tat they are not supposed to sleep in living room. But when no more rooms, cant be we owners sleep in living room then give maid the room.

Dr Joycelyn Wong patients can deliver @ Mt Alvernia. Does she charge extra $? I've asked her before about delivering in other hospitals like Mount E, Gleneagles and East Shore. She told me she charges $200 extra for transportation.

tot it;ll only happen in 3rd tri.. but nowadays while climbing stairs i do feel tired and breatheless easily.

Constipation
I am also having this problem even before i am preggie. I had got a bottle of medicine (syrup) from the gynae and it does help abit. I also tried to eat fruits and food with more dietary fibre. Sometime it works, sometime not.

Yen, my gynae says aft first trimester can take Chinese herbs liao.. i got frens who take pao shen from first trimester onwards.

I used to have constipation. You can try eating prunes or papaya (advise by Dr Wong). My mum told me can eat prunes. You can buy packet prunes from most supermarkets. I just bought 1 pack from Carrefour. Eat them like snacks.

its only 2:50pm now, but I'm hungry. I had fish ball bee hoon soup for lunch juz now.

i read a motherhood magazine with a listing of all hospital charges and TMC is the 2nd most exp !!!! Then i went into TMC and Mt ALvernia home website yest and yah TMC looks more exp. U can go in for the details.

Me went for a check up this morning and gender cfm to be a Mickey! Baby is Ok and gynec comment that the fellow is Big size! That's mean i got to suffer again like when i am having my gal that time. Got to prepare to be tired at the 3rd trim again! haiz..
Anyone had extra iron pills? My blood count is lack of iron and gynec asked me to take extra iron pills... Sigh! Another pill to take daily..
I hate taking pills these days!
