Jo, no choice, i dun have a place for him in my mum's place. plus my mum hates animals so have to ask somebody to take care lor. but if u count over 21 days, it is abt $20 a day. i dun like pet hotels cos easy to catch bugs and illnesses.
dmk, i m also like u.. a lot of -ve thoughts. but aft talking to the ladies last fri, i have decided that if it is meant to be it is meant to be lor. once u manage to accept that fact, u will stop worrying liao.

Is your dog paper train or out-door train? He bark and whine maybe because he wants to go and release himself lay. If he is paper train, put some newspaper in your room so that he can pee / poo without having to inform you. If outdoor train, then you have to re-train him to paper, if not this will persist on. Bear is also right to ignore, but before you do that, first find out the reason for his whining and barking.

Puppy is like that de. He sleeping in the room with you or outside?? That could be his wake-up time. Try tiring him out at night by playing and doing some training. THis way, he might be able to sleep later.

I see...hmm, then its most likely he wants attention. Balcony is sheltered and the rain wont come in hor?? Cause I know some balcony, the window cannot close and can get quite chilly at night de. Maybe he feel cold lay. How abt shifting him to sleep in the living room / kitchen instead??

hi gals! I saw your info on OSCAR, seems like quite different from mine.
I just did my OSCAR test at TMC this morning. it cost $105 and scan for 15mins. That was all. i asked the lady if i need to have any blood test, she said gynae will do it later part.
Do we really have to blood test with OSCAR?
I saw the baby dancing and waving. it was really awesome! 1st time i see baby moving so clearly. The lady doing the scan actually said my baby is really active. Does anyone saw this scan yet?
I think most impt is to measure the baby's neck to determine the possibilty of down sydrome. I got my report straight after the scan and was told mine was negative.
I was so scared that i might need to to do the amiotic test in 5th mth?

hi ladies. any of u lost weight ever since the pregnancy? I've lost a bit of weight ever since i got pregnant cos i've been throwing up and also not much appetite. Sian sian. Now my best friend is Ovaltine. So every night or everytime i just vomit, i'll take some ovaltine to fill up my stomach.
I've also have some weird food cravings for my 2nd pregnancy. I crave for fries, fried chicken wings, any tomato based pasta, pizzas.
However, I'm forcing myself to drink fresh fruit juice and take a little vege (since I nromally don' tlike vege).
I'll be going for my detailed scan in another 2 weeks. I hope everything will be fine.

Bibi, u haven seen your bb & his/her heartbeat yet? Then I seriously think u must quickly c a gynae asap so tat u know bb is growing well anot according to his week age
Don't wait for your GP's recommendation liao, don't think it is vy nice of him to delay u from seeing a gynae.

i lost about 1kg but have a lot of gas. My tummy is very descended especially by end day. I think must go drink ginger tea to get rid of the wind.
I have been thinking of buying maternity clothes but somehow, the pants seems tto big. So I am considering buying the Belly Band which will enable me to continue wearing my current clothes for the next few months. Looking at the ones from mothercare and another version from Mummy exchange at marina sq.

hi ladies, ytd went for my 3rd gynea visit. baby is abt 7.9cm... but too bad, cannot see is mickey or minnie.. baby keep moving, gynea also have a hard time scanning him.
was told to cut down on drinkin ribena and milk. says only a glass of milk a day else may put on unnecessary fats...
today will go and cut hair.. as the weather is really damn hot!!!

I went for my 2nd gynae appt yday at wk 12. EDD is 10 Nov. Gynae scanned and see that my placenta is still low
covering the cervix exit infact... quite cute that gynae showed bb sucking his thumb wor...hahahaa
it is only 12 weeks but gynae was more than 90% sure of the gender. But I think i will wait for 16 weeks check for him to be 100%. Last preg he was able to confirm 100% during my 16 weeks check.

when is ur next visit at Dr KH CHan? he will do the NT scan for u on the spot. Mine was normal so he recommended to do triple test at week 15. I am very afraid of needles....very sian have to draw blood again

my last preg only at 16 weeks then gynae 100% confirmed. This preg maybe due to positioning, he showed us and said >90% confirmed but next visit he will do a 100% confirmation for me. I think it depends on the machine your gynae is using as well as the positioning of your baby. Honestly, i was very surprised too... just hope it is true

Hi mummies, my first post here. My EDD is expected to due on 18 Nov, will be going for NT scan next week, i also find that i will feel giddy when taking train, and the nausea have been giving me problem. This morning i suddenly felt very different, there was some kind of "pain" though not to the extend of unbearable on & off my abodomen and lower part of my body, haiz, hopefully this is sign of baby growing as today should be entering my 11 weeks. I really pray hard that everything will be fine...

Chilipadi, I juz bought the belly belt from mothercare yest coz I also find tat I cannot fit vy nicely into those maternity pants yet. It's still loose on my backside & upper legs.
M wearing it today, feel so much beta coz my old pants r really getting tight on me liao.

Oh, nearly forgot. I felt my bb's heartbeat at my tummy area last nite when resting on my side
It's vy obvious, like knocking on my tummy a few times
It was the 1st time & so sudden, I was so happy, told my hb but when he tried to listen, all he hear is water sounds...muhahaha

I also bought some maternity strap-less bra from 'maternity hse'.
They having promotion for their tummy support belt so I bought 1 too. I m already having a little backache liao so think it will help me a little bah but can only wear from 17weeks onwards unless u r carrying twins.

not necessary to zip up. the belt actually holds the pants up so don't have to zip up. will try and see if I can pick it up this weekend at maternity exchange and let you know if it works...
i am also having very bad backaches. most of the time want to lie down only. I am hoping to do some prenatal massage from 16 weeks onwards. will check with gynae if can or not. got a contact where she can come over to my place to do it. recommended by some mummies from another forum.

if ur weight gain is not healthy for you hor, ur gynae will warn you...dun worry.
have u started to wear maternity wear? I wore my old maternity pants on Monday and someone asked me whether i preg...i quickly denied! dun dare to wear liao...now juz try to wear oversized top and loose bottoms... very sloppy

if u have low placenta during delivery, it means u defintely cannot go for natural birth, have to be c-section. there is also something called placenta P something...i can't remember leh... coz my last preg, my placenta moved up ard 24weeks so i was ok and went ahead with normal delivery... oh...if u have low placenta, u may have spotting...so my gynae told me if i see any spotting, dun panic.... it is juz because of this.

peanut, i had hash brown from macs today. hee hee tot of having macgriddles but then didn't feel like having something sweet suddenly.
It's weird leh..i keep having craving for soft drinks now. I especially love orangina. it's crazy cos i din't used to go crazy for orangina.

For low placenta, doc normally will tell u to don't over exert yourself and to be more dainty when u walk. try not to run. And u can buy a maternity belt to support your bump as it gets bigger in future. Not sure if it helps lah...but it did make me feel better esp when i was doing my treadmill.
