Yes.This is my first pregnacy. You are 2 weeks ahead of me. The last visit(@7wks) i saw and heard my bb heartbeat but fetus still small can't see much movements. Will be going back again on 10 Apr (@10 wks)by then i shall be able to see something like u saw. : )You must be really happy to see ur bb developments. Congrats!

Haru: I am the opposite of you. I used to be regular but I have been taking folic acid all along and antenatal vit (kiasu.. gyne recommend I must as well start since I am TCC). But since pregnant, so difficult to go toilet. Drank prune juice the other..almost instant effect man!!

Yah was happy. Saw something moving and my HB was asking doc "what's that thing moving?" the doc was like its your BB moving... saw his arms moved too so cute. cant wait for the next appt end apr to see the development.

Do update after your check.

Which gynae u seeing? I am seeing Dr Lee Keen Whye at Gleneagles.

Dun worrry, hang in there maybe you ovluated late at that month. If so, embryo onli 4 week it will be hard to detect pregnancy sac.

The best time for a dating scan will be from 6-8weeks in order to detect sac and estimate growth of bb.

I have onli intended to visit my gynae at the end of April or early May. Meanwhile I taking folic acid, iron and calcium tablets which I have got from from phamacy myself.

I'm seeing Dr Yvonne Chan at TMC. i've got to wait for another 2 weeks before my next appt. Like so long man..

My case like u ,my last gynae visit, I count is begining of 6week. but gynae say is 4 to 5week plus. My O is confirm CD14. Cause I only try once on D14 & my cycle always 28days.

Days seem to move so slow to the next gynae visit. Spotting make me more stress...haiz

Babyzel ya cordycep, I heard about the fake ones, but dont think can afford it this round.
 
Hi Gillian, Vincy. I know what u mean. I O at CD11 this mth... lagi worse right? I can honestly tell u if using LMP at 5 wks, all i can see is sac but can see something in the sac, just too small to confirm if it is 100% there.. the last 2 wks has been really slow going. Let's cheer each other up ok?

Also, no all foetuses grow at the same rate. the more we stress the slower they grow.. research has shown that mums facing stress usually have lighter bbs.. so try not to think about it ya?

I was told by my gynae not to take cordycep and tang gui. He say it is not good.

Dont be stress I had spotting too in my week 5-8 and it will stop. Did gynae give you any medicine or jab to help? Just relax and have lots of bed rest I have been staying home (bed rest) for 6 weeks now. Only movement is to the toilet and thats about it. But sine spotting stop I move more but still staying home to rest cos of MS. Hope it goes away soon.

don't want to visit too often as my gynae's charges super ex. My first visit at week 7 costed $347! nearly fainted liao.

Babyzel, u mentioned to vincy that not to carry her daughter, but i think it will be quiet difficult not to carry. For me, although i am still in my 1st trimester, but sometimes really no choice but to carry him up n down (staircase).

u can rest for 6 weeks? on MC or not working at the moment? for me, have to go to work.. ev day have to drag myself up to work....really have the urge to jus go downstair see doc & take MC..

re:stress & MS
it's really hard not tinking about it... jus hope of bb growing well inside. MS is driving me mad... Nauseous.. no mood to do anytin at all... sometimes after eating, i jus feel soooo bloated.. & unwell.. if dun eat, will feel worst. eat liao oso dun feel gd... haiz.. no up no down.. tat kind of feeling...

If she wanna carry,jus carry her when u are seated.I tried not to carry my gal too but somtime realli difficult nt to.She jus stick to me like superglue.

Coz consultation is $108, scan is $128. The rest coz i got flu so some flu med, folic acid and DHA tablet.... hiaz... package starts at week16... so prior to that, try to not visit so often :p

This is my 2nd accident bb and first one is only 7 mths old..mum dun seems very happy...sigh...and seems like my boy koes he is upgraded and is very sticky to me lately, bt i feel too sick to play and carry him all the time...feel so guilty..

hi bear, warm ribena? hmm... i should try that.. i have like 3 bottles of ribena at home leh.. but put ard 3-4cubes of ice =P hubby will make sure i dun drink really cold drinks.. i also trying to cut down but really diff leh.. *guilty*

ya sometimes he also kick in my tummy and i have to change position so to avoid.. he too, is abt 11.5kg now, quite heavy to hold him. sometimes i also no strength, just hold him walk instead of carry.

congrats! Ur mum unhappy just bcos u r preggy now and your 1st baby is only 7 mths old.. You tell ur mum that other mummy got preggy just after the bb turn full mth or only 2 months. I knew a mummy that her 1st girl and 2nd girl are exactly 1 yr apart only and they can handle well. Just a matter of planning only i think

tml will be my second visit to my gynea(at tmc). the consultation fee is very affordable and my first visit cost me $58+ only, includes a scan, no medicine or supplements. looking forward to tml!

Ya..my PIL were very happy..maybe becos their kids are all almost 1 yr apart...Tik my mum quite tired from taking care of bb nw and with 2nd one and my bb turned 1, she will finds it hard to cope...so hv to start getting her a maid..

Haiz is difficult not to carry our toddler. Especially now they are so sticky. They will feel that you dont love them anymore.

Val u on Hospital Leave? I am currently working, so cannot bedrest. Just started on this new job for 6mth. Not very nice to take unpaid leave to bedrest also.

Lovedogs the charges is so expensive, I think i will faint if i c the bill leh. During my 1st preggie, i went to a gynae at Glen for 2nd opinion before I do D/C. The bill come up to $500 plus for a consultation &amp; I almost drop off my chair.

Congrats : )Is nice to have sibling closer in age. they can play together. But will be tougher on the caretaker, maid is a nice ideal.

I am currently in bet job. Found out I will preg when during my last 3 weeks in ex co. MS was so bad have to be hospitalised so 16 days of hospitalisation leave. Currently I am clearing my leave from ex co. before joining new co mid apr.

Well not sure how it will be with the new environment. Lucky I know my new boss well so will not feel so stress up.

You should perhaps take MC to bedrest cos it is really impt.

Anyone still taking dupaston n utrogestan? Am 9.5wk and not sure if I shd stop. They make me v ill - nausea and puking and all

LOL! I just went today. So not too bad, not really crowded. Mine's on 30th. Was supposed to be 28th but HB not free on that day. This is my first. No not feeling unwell, just took MC since I was there for a checkup. Hee, good reason to take MC.

I stopped my Duphaston quite some time back. The nurse had said to finish whatever I had and then don't have to take anymore.

I just went for one over the weekend. I think it's really not worthwhile for us to for buffets now. Everything didn't look appetising to me. In the end, I didn't eat much.

i know how you feel. my first appt with gynae is 3 weeks away and i am quite anxious. actually its also coz i really want to see my baby on the scan for the first time. i think it will be sooooo special.

i always take cold water. like all the time. but since preggie, i try to mix cold water with a lil tepid water, so its cool but cold.=P esp with ribena, i like it super chilled!

i dun have MS, but i do keep burping like my tummy is full of gas. and at times, i feel so bloated and weird feeling around my throat. good thing is i do not throw up at all. and apetite still pretty good. but i will still sniff my fav medicated oil esp at nite, somehow feel quite shiok...

dun worry too much on not seeing the fetus now.. i also saw the saw ard week 5 and i was tested positive at week 3! so i was worried for weeks as i cant see my sac at all at week 3 n 4 hahaha.. but in the end saw the sac at week 5 and saw the heartbeat at week 6... now i am in my week 8...
going to see gynae this thursday, hope bb is growing fine and hope can hear the heartbeat... ;p

now i still taking duphaston, hope can stop le.. feel very nausea...

hi Liv, same here. I just seen the doc 2 days ago and the Gynae did a scan but cannot find anything..so ask me to wait for another week to scan.
Because of cramps like symptoms, i am taking duphaston too...which gynae and where did you see?

oh weekdays are much better. Sats are the worse. We will miss each other anyway we might meet sometime. Dr Lee &amp; the staff there are all really nice and friendly. Oh when is your EDD? You have a good rest today.

wow, ur consultation $500 plus...thats very ex too! yeah... my hb also pengz after the bill. However, i delivered my first with this gynae. have to say he is very good and he has the 3D &amp; 4D machine. hence, maybe his charges are ex. His clinic is also in gleneagles.

how r u feeling?u mentioned u had D/C last time? what happened? hope ur current pregnancy is a smooth one.

dun be upset. I guess ur mum may be juz concern as she is helping u wif ur no. 1. Agree that if u hire a maid to help her out, she may be ok abt it? i may need to hire a maid for my mum too or i will juz send the 1st one to childcare once number 2 comes along... still a long way to think yet...

u on hospitalisation leave? hope everything is fine for you. u r in between jobs? ur new company knows u r pregnant? just a note to highlight that u r only eligible for paid maternity leave if u r in a company for more than 180 days prior to delivery... so FYI... i am also new in my job... 2 mths only... i nvr tell anyone... hoping to hide for as long as i can or at least till i get my confirmation.

Ruffles, i m taking utrogestan still.. Doesn't make me sick though.. i think my MS quite mild compared to the rest of the gals. Just no appetite and feeling bloated. Haven't thrown up yet but i have been having diarrhea.

Hi Joshmummy and Blessed Mum! Welcome! Joshmum, don't feel guilty lah, there is another 9 mths before the new bb comes, so just make sure u spend more time with ur son now.

Blessed mum, CD14 mean cycle day 14. Day one of ur period is CD1. How many wks are u? i m gg on to my 6th wk and can only see a sac with something inside at 35 days exactly.

Jenn, u can try warm ribena lor.. see if u like it..

Haru, i want 5 kids! hahaha.. but my hb said he dun wanna work like a cow so we have agreed at 3.. :p i might just change my mind aft this one though...

for the last 4 scans, mine is always V Scan... coz ultrascan cant see anything... sian sia.. so scare that time..

Have been skipping my beauty routine since most of mine r under whitening range.
Heard preggie cannot use whitening, anti-aging, AHA, BHA etc stuff coz they may cause defects in bb, so scary &amp; I have stopped since.

But I need to get some day &amp; night moisturizer, any idea what brand &amp; product can we use?

Thanks everything is fine now. inital was bad cos I was throwing up like crazy and had spotting so gynae admitted me. Now at home resting.

Actually my new boss is very understanding and supportive. She is fine and yah I am hoping that it will be 6 mths by Oct. My EDD end of Oct so if I join then mid apr I should have 6 mths. Praying hard that all works well if not it is fine lor.

You shoud be find right cos after confirmation you will be entitled right?

I have told him already coz Hubby wanna make sure he is told as I am doing Business Development which means i go around meeting clients often. Hubby dun like e idea of it now lor.. hopefully boss is fine as i have been having MCs since then too... understand your worries too =D things will be fine

i am currently using several Origins pdts, the last time i asked the sales person she said they use natural ingredients shld be ok. but i still emailed them anyway just to find out if they use of e ingredients such as retinod,etc... i also dun wana use pdts that are not suitable for expecting mums.

if u have to travel overseas....may be tough coz must carry notebook, luggage etc.... as mentioned, if ur boss is understanding that is the best. try to avoid wearing high heel shoes if u have to travel ard alot within sg...

i am with dr KH chan of gleneagles. he delivered my first bb too last year. My first consultation this time was $347.... due to some flu medication and DHA. if without, consultation is 107, scan is 128. His package starts at 16 weeks. Just a note that his attendance fees during delivery is $1000. That is excluding his delivery charges. THis is one of the highest I have asked ard.... that was last year. just hope this year price nvr increase further.... but i agree he is very good. His stitching skills one of the best.

I think we can only manage 2 kids infact I m already thinking abt when is the better time for the 2nd kid...muhahaha, we love kids :D but time &amp; $ r d factors for us

so you have e same gynae! wow, i never there was such a thing as attendance fees. so his package for from 16 weeks all the way to DD? i will have to find out more about his package charges.
i know he is one of the most expensive gynaes around, but i rather pay more for a gynae that we have confidence in and are comfortable with.

ya, thats why i also rather double check. i think i wil also pass by to check the packaging and the ingredients stated coz i threw away the boxes already and the pdt doesnt have the ingredients printed on it.

yes, if the package this year still the same, it will be from week 16 till delivery. However, if u need CTG monitoring during week 38 onwards, he charged $105 per CTG session!!! yes... all my frens' gynaes only charged abt $30 to $50. But at that stage, cannot complain liao... heehee.. but agree wif u that since he is really good... u will have a peace of mind during your pregnancy and delivery. how many times have u visited him so far?
 
hi lovedogs, agree with ya on the part abt having understanding bosses. Travelling around SIngapore not overseas so still alright. Ya, nv wore any heels ever since i knew abt my pregnancy. very protective aby my tummy too, my mum-in law ask me not to carry my JRT (still a puppy) maybe worried he will kick me accidentally ba..

RE: carrying our kids - I also still carry my gal leh..... i guess it cannot be avoided esp when weekends is only me and her alone at home.... when my hubby need to work...

I think we difficlt to avoid carry our kids cos they might feel rejected. Just take extra care.
