hi bigflamingo - so sad when i hear his good bye speech... he was tearing. He is the best PM in australia as far as i know... haha i dislike John howard alot...

hi vanilla, how is it? may i know hw much are the school fees & curriculum like? i suppose they have outdoor playground right>?

sorry for askin so many questions. desperate to quickly transfer him to another school.

hi ginapy - if i am not mistaken the big splash one is really full... it is not easy to get a space in CH.

for nursery i am paying like $900++ for a term and that is for half day. All CH has outdoor playground.

i suggest u call and see which schools u like have vacancy esp since it is a transfer ...all the best

hi vanilla,

thanks. i also just called to check them. They only hv 1/2 day classe and only cater for 3 yrs n above. Too bad then.

ginapy
jts. chiltern does not have a long waiting list but hvg said that, they need at least i think 6 to start a new class so best to call or write in to them. though i hv an inclination that i would like to enroll rebekah into chiltern halifax, i hv 2 b on waitlist as well and at this moment, they do not have enough to start a new class so chances of me getting a place for her next year is quite slim.

ginapy
u lkg for CC... sorry. there are plenty in the east. i think the CARPE DIEM group also has a few branches in the east too. can call.

actually i am quite happy with REmus current school at Cherie Hearts @ ECP. ALthough the school is fully air conditioned, but they have daily walks (at least 1, if not twice) at the beach. They also bring the kids to the outdoor playground occasionally also.

The curriculum is also good, but its a pity that it is closing down. SO my next criteria in choosing the school for him, is that it must have an outdoor area for the kids to play / roam about. Think i might enrol him in Cherie Hearts @ mountbatten, gotta go down & take a look at the area first, before transferring him over

Thanks alot for ur feedback, mummies.

bigflamingo

heh heh, I am the opposite. but i don't think the gramps will let us put kate in a rough school.

yah apparently rudd was ousted by his deputy.

Lousy CC. Say it's past the 2 weeks trial, so, have to give 1 month notice then can take marcus out.
Sigh... no questions ask as to why i'm withdrawing Marcus also. LOUSY!

dimpletot,
wah RGPS increased their alumni fee? The last i heard was $200. Still a steep price to pay for being an alumni with no benefits whatsoever.

mousebb,
wishing wx and wm a speedy recovery. You take care too.

vanilla,
CH's fees are monthly not per term leh.

XY,
so u gng to juz take Marcus out anyway or u putting him for another 1 mth? tsk tsk tsk...lousy cc juz care abt 'ke cheng $$$'!

dunno leh.
u think i should waste the $680 and just pay for the notice period and whip Marcus away to LV?
Or only enroll him in LV in August?

XY,
Were you informed about having a 2 weeks trial period beforehand? If not, fight for your rights and refuse to pay for 1 month notice and also tell them that you'll make an official complain to relevant boards to expose them about the way they run a CC...

XY,
seriously if u ask me, i will juz forgo the $$$ & put Marcus in LV straight.

not healthy for Marcus to continue to stay in the lousy cc. He may get the wrong idea of school plus he is already so against it now. Have to change his mind abt school from boring to fun & intersting learning experience fast.

XY
I'm with JJmom ah. A month of damage is ... damaging. LOL! Then again, I also think you should check out the documents etc. and see if you can get back the money.

documents? what documents? they never give me anything leh.
i didn't even know abt the 2 weeks trial. Now... marcus is end of week 3 at CC. So have to give 1 month notice. Argh.

Hi mint haha my mistake

XY,

I agree with elch & mint, to hell with lousy cc! Juz don't go anymore, that's that! They r worse than i thought...tsk tsk tsk!
I m gng KS forum to blacklist them =P

afternoon.

Jelly,
i had fried fish soup with rice for lunch. then after tat went to FOX to sweep the sales items.

jelly: sigh... I am busy with reporting my marketing spend and doing SAP - raising Shopping Carts for my events and campaigns. Just got off a conference call with the whole APAC team; big boss arrowed me to take on one APAC project again. Sigh... ....

Had lunch at my desk but was good though - Sze Chuan Soup with Fried Rice. Had to wait till it cooled down before I dare to eat...

What about you?

i think it's a centralised MCYS thing that all childcares have to give 2 weeks trial and can withdraw without penalty during that period...

icylemon/buffy
me had fried hokkien mee... one of the better ones i had for a long time and i just chomped down a muffin... all from TPY Lor 1 HC...

icylemon
the sale good anot ah?

dimple
yup, it's an MCYS thing that all CC gives 2 week trial...

icylemon

thanks for the heads up but I really need to stop buying clothes for kate!!

mummies

totally contradicting myself, but shall we start collecting gingersnaps receipts? need $500 within 3 months. I have $54 haha... think last weekend they were having 15% sales for non-members, not sure whether they are still having now...

Jelly, the sales is more for mummies & babes below 2 yrs.

the range for kids abv 4 - 12 yrs old not much lor.

Dimple,
you bought alot during your trip to UK??

XY

if no choice gotta give 1 month's notice then maybe u can just let him go for the non-TV sessions, and then yr mil can just bring him up or to playground when it's tV time...

Xy
Hmm why not ask them behind the logic of a month's notice? It's not that they have to prepare the food or anything else for that matter within a month. I also say just go AWOL. It's not like they need to replace Marcus with someone. Why the need for the notice?

Dimple
I am banning myself from gingersnaps. I could have accumulated $500 if I bother to keep the receipts but I am not good with these. From 3 yo onwards (and I think what Jo has now can last her till then), I will bring Jo to choose her own clothings. So I am going to stop buying her clothes for fear she will not wear them when she is able to make such choices. Let her choose her own clothes.

Dimple,
i brought her to kidslink. doc said observed her for 3 days see how it goes. if still bleed then admit to hospital.yesterday at the clinic there she bleed infront of the PD.

saxo

aiyoh should have kept receipts. then when Jo goes and picks out another $500 worth, you save $50!

icylemon
