elch, vanilla,
so it really goes to show tat more milk & food in the day helps our bbs to have gd nite sleep. Try to head towards this direction
happy.gif

Increase a little for every day time milk feed, say 10-20ml & decrease the 'nightmare' feed. I did the same too

Hi Jj mom --- haha lookign for another girl..

hi elch - wah Dylan such a nice boy! Can u share how much u feeding him?

My boy also dun like milk during brekkie..so now if i feed him 5-6am i dun give him milk.

We used to feed him uncook rice 2.5tbsp and 3 tbsp for lunch and dinner. we cut to 2 -2.5tsbp when he eats so long ..dun know if this cutting affected him. But he cant finish his rice still (even after cutting).

Last milk feed.. these few nights he slept before finishing them. So drank abt 150 - 170ml.

Hi,

Just to share about the shoes trade-in at Kidzstyle. I bought 2 pairs last week and trade off my MIL and FIL shoes as I didn't bring my girl's old shoes from Australia. So it's ok to trade in someone's else shoes instead of your tods. I bought mine from Northpoint Shopping Centre

vanilla,
have u change to a bigger size teat yet? This may helps E to drink more for day feed & faster for nite feed

re: nite feed,
i believe enuff food in the day really reduce the chances of bb waking up in the nite for milk. Cos my bb also like tat these few days, his day porridge and milk is reduced so in the nite he will wake up like @ 2am for milk. He has not been having nite feed since 3 mths old.

hi jjmom - his is the largest feed hole but still 0-6 mths size (NUK) i tried the 6mths above teat -- cannot fit into his "cherry blossom" mouth.

I go and try cutting the hole bigger tonite...wanted him to use silicon teat cos faster flow but this fussy boy just likes latex!

I would be delighted cos I can lose weight then. But I always rebound back when I can eat! Heh, Good also to finally see you on fb!

jelly,
we r not talking abt the last milk feed wor, it's the nightmare feeds.

Rebby still wakes up for milk every nite? how mant times?

vanilla, same here...my boy only like nuk latex teats, but i still using the medium hole, 6mths above teat. my boy opp he dun like the 0-6mths teat long time ago....think he has big mouth like his daddy n mummy...keke

if it makes mummies feel better, Jo is always up for night feeds. If she eats a lot at dinner, then once a night. Otherwise, can wake as many as 4 - 5 times. That's why I did the research (oi, you all steal my findings) and I'm trying to feed her more solids in the evening now.

jjmom
oops... sorry. ya, rebby wakes up still once a nite for her 180ml.

vanilla
yeah, but am trying to wean her off that mid-nite feed as much as we can.

Vanilla, why u say cant make it? the flow too fast?
u know my boy sometimes will show the "want to puke" expression when i try to place the teats into his mouth...i m thinkg it is because of the latex smell. ur boy have such expressions??

Kidstyle:

can i check how much are the shoes/sandals roughly after trade in?

I bought a pair of sandals and a pair of covered shoes. Both are $20 to $22 after trade off. Another thing with trading in.. any shoes or sandals except for slippers.

doggie,
did u juz pop the teat right in from the center of his mouth? try giving the teat from the corner of his mouth slowly.

mayb when u give directly from the front, a mouth of milk could have juz go right at his throat so thus his "want to puke" expression from the shock or choke.

jjmom
you still reading Nov thread? You been to their gatherings?

They're talking about discipline now. Sounds scary.

mint
When are you going to Bali? Let's go check out schools before you run away.

little doggie,
I've added you.

vanilla, JJmom,
Dream feeding doesn't work for all babies....at least not for Dylan even when he's just a NB...he'll just turn his head away and refuse to open his mouth...

vanilla,
Not sure how much my mum's feeding Dylan during the day when he's at her place...he eats better at her place for some reason though it's always porridge! Especially these few days, my mum says he ate quite alot for dinner that's why he skipped his last feed. Around 8+-9am my mum will give him cereal but before that he'll have small bites of bread/pao that my dad/bro's fond of giving him. Between meals he'll have fruits...that's all I know...

Karen,
After I read about your findings, I actually tried 'stuffing' puffs to Dylan before he sleeps since he refused to have his milk! Haha! Just for 1 night though...

happy.gif

white chrysanthemum

hee hee when you gals were talking abt it, all i could think of was the pokka white chrysanthemum tea in a pet bottle! that's as far as my acquaintance with it goes.

vanilla

hang in there... maybe he's teething and feeling pain and discomfort too? which makes him wake up and the milk kinda soothes him?

Jjmom, juz rem ur msg eariler on the teats...i dun think is because of the milk flow, cos he "puke" even bfore the milk can flow out. nvm i will monitor his expression some more and see how...thks!
