Everyone,

Thank you for all your kind words. I really hope he will get better. Haven't been able to sleep all nite and was thinking of the worst scenerio. Even if he pull thru this but is just hanging in there & suffering, we will put him down. He has given us so much joy for the last 3 years so it's the least we can do to let him go gracefully. I just don't want him to linger and suffer, u know what i mean?

Mommies, don't worry abt me... I will try my best not to think too much even though it's hard, I have to think of Skylar and don't wanna affect her too. Okay, am getting to shower and get ready for my checkup, will update everyone later on Skylar's progress.

Me worse lar, both hubby and I got single eyelids... so... small chance my boy will have double eyelids lor. But both my parents got double eyelids (and my father got deep set eyes, like ang mohs) and yet, both their kids got single eyelids!!! wahahahahaha... nature plays tricks sometimes

Harlow Mummies!

I had been feeling quite moody these days, dunno why oso, maybe getting too gan chiong abt baby's coming soon...dunno will i be able to adapt to the change and be a good mum, will I be able to cope with the pain of childbearing, will his head go down.. endless questions

Lucki hubbie had been supportive and keep asking me to think of baby and everything will be worth it. And of coz, this forum had given me so much joy and smiles as well, everyone is so cheery and chirpy. makes me happi too

Btw, any mummies know if gynae says baby head is down but still a distance from engaging, will the baby have a high chance to move the head up again? Coz my colleages had been commenting my tummy still looks so high, not 'descended' yet... i start to worrie...

littlebluey, can u help me to update my baby's name to Issac?

Gioanna, I can totally understand how u feel abt your cat coz we also have to put down our dog when I m abt 2mths preggie. I did cry my heart out then too but at the same time keep telling myself that it's for her best & I also need to take care of my bb inside me...I learned 2 let go slowly

But u don't think too much 1st since there is still hope for your cat mah, try to think positive

whitepaper, so excited for you! so near EDD!! Wonder if you or purebliss will be delivered by Doc wong first!

I'm hoping my bb Kate will hang in there till I go on leave at least. hahaha... at least a few days to be relaxed instead of rushing there in the middle of work and adding to the drama of my already very exciting (read: crazy) work week.

eight more days till I disappear from work for a long long time WHEE... and hoping to pop only after 3 Oct, which is Week 39 for me! I estimate bb is already 3kg though, and I'm in week 37...

my HB going to take 2 weeks leave... but he got ICT in Dec, and again in Mar!! 2 weeks each time. SIAO army - where got 2 times reservist in 6 months?! i think he might appeal to defer the Dec one.

Don't worry! As long as healthy can le! Guess we mommies worry about everything. Some of us worry baby too big, some worry too small... kekeke... actually all ok, as long as they are born in the pink of health. JJmom is right - they can always be beefed up after birth!

My hubby also having ICT in end Nov/Dec but he has told MINDEF to defer it until end Feb 08 next year cos of the bb. MINDEF has approved it. You can tell you hubby to defer it also. What MINDEF requires is just a letter from gynae showing your EDD and they allow it.

Same for BF also, we all try to do our best loh, if really not enough BM, bb will also grow up fine with FM de

Just recalled. When I was at TMC for 4D3N, every breakfast and teabreak, they will serve you milo. Hence milo is super safe to drink otherwise TMC will not let the patients drink le.

Recently, I also ate a few sticks of magnum to help relieve my heartburn. My hubby said magnum is safe leh. Dont know true anot.

Ya, luckily my boy very active for this week, make me feel much better, at least it shows that he is healthy and my placenta still functioning well! Have eaten more and well for past a week, hopefully he can absorb the nutrients! Keeping my fingers crossed, hope he can continue grow inside me til as close as to my EDD! Yesterday we brought our boy to Marina Square shopping. Halfway, I needed to go toilet. My hubby and son were at a sitting area waiting for me. When I came out from the toilet, I was shocked to see the father & son sharing a cup of large pepsi happily!

When I questioned my hubby why let our son drank soft drinks while he is still having some coughs and not really recovered from his flu, he turned around and asked our son "You bao duo daddy! you should have signalled to daddy that mummy coming liao." Really going to "faint' le. Guess the father & son is going to have a havoc time when I give birth.

My feet is also swollen. Sometime I have difficulty bending my knees due to the swelling. By now, my leg is swollen from morning till night. The swelling does not go away anymore hence I am walking like a penguin. So sorry about your cat. You take care must think of the bb. Let us know the outcome of your checkup later today.

Epidural
On Sat, I told my gynae about my unpleasant experience with epidural during my last delivery, he actually asked me if I want to go for GA this time. He told me to take my time to think over and let him know again. After some consideration, think I will still take the epidural cos I want to see my bb the moment she is out from my tummy mah! Must really pray hard that this time will be better for me.

I had initially thought of not buying any pumps until I try them out at TMC when I deliver, but saw one of the mommies selling a brand new sealed Medela PIS Advanced backpack style with warranty until Sep 09 at $550. And it's local set, not US set.

Wondering if I should get it? Seems quite a good deal? Cheapest retail price seems to be $599 from First Few Years?

Any advice?

I panic... not ready yet. So he say latest is THURSDAY. I'll be seeing my giant on 25th.
Mixed feelings... no chance for natural. i cried at the gynae. Tears of joy and fear.
