hey littlebluey,
I experienced the same thing!! I also had this small bump near my ear, and I burst it more than a month ago, and it started bleeding profusely! Was at home watching tv, managed to stop the bleeding after applying pressure with tissue.
Then after 5-6 days I thot the bump had dried up, so at work I burst it to remove it for good. then it started bleeding like a fountain! my colleagues all got super freaked out cos we were at a meeting and I had to rush out for tissue. i think there were so many bright red bloody tissues at the end of it it was not funny.
I told them this is the second time, don't worry, it's nothing serious. but i had to apply pressure for at least half an hour, during which i attended another mtg with my boss who was also very concerned.
then after it stopped, leaving a light red bulge again. I didn't try to burst it after that but it grew! now it's a dark red little bubble bulge abt 0.8cm in diameter. When I saw Dr Khi 4 weeks ago, I asked her, she said no worries, just wait for it to dry up. 2 weeks after that when I saw Dr Wong, and told her that it was kinda growing (it's like skin membrane over a vein where blood is flowing, when i press it down it flattens but after when i release, the bump 'fills up' again with blood) she said this is because preggies are more vascular so blood flows more strongly and harder to stop. She recommended bursting it after I deliver, and stitching it up if necessary.
So bo pian, got to tahan for now. very ugly so i pasted surgical tape over it and change hair parting to cover it up.
sorry so cheong hei - just wanted to share.
