hi everyone,

crazy busy at work. only have time to come in now. stupid *#&@^# team leader even suggested that we work through the weekend. Best part is there is nothing specific to work on. he just wondering whether we should come up with meetings since it's the final few weeks to our large event.

sometimes i just feel like popping tomorrow, so i don't have to deal with all this work nonsense! and seeing how cheezel popped more than a month early, not unlikely to happen to me! my EDD is much earlier than hers, but then again mine is first child lah...

ya i tell my girl you can threaten to come so mommy have excuse for more rest but you don't come now hor because mommy's crap all lying around, must give her time to clear the room. oh gosh, has the realisation dawned on you? We're going to be mothers.. sometimes i have this fear that i'm going to be such rubbish at being someone else's mother since i can barely organise myself.

today my colleague EDD 18 oct, popped this morning. testament to how stressful my organisation is..

Latest updates from Cheezel!

Both Mummy and Bb doing well, Jaren weighs 2.26kg and length 45 cm. Although slightly premature but he's doing fine except he doesn't know how to suckle for now, so hv to stay in special ward for feeding with a tube..

Thanks for the update on SSW. Was not feeling well this morning. Having bad cramps in the gastric and went to see gynae Dr so bb growing and no space so keep pushing on given medicines to loosen the womb so that I wun go into early delivery. Anyone had such experience?

mommies, somehow feels like our batch of rat babies cannot wait to scurry out. no problems with scurrying out (first one in the zodiac mah) but i'ld be praying that all our babies are healthy and strong !

shouldn't be a problem i think, they say rat babies are real survivors!

Hi ladies,
I'm so happy! Back from my checkup... my placenta is up and baby's head is down! No need for C sect!!!!! Hurray!!!!

Baby is doing very well, she's 3.3kg now (just into 36wk). And I've gained 5.4kg today.

EDD shd be ard 38 wk as my #1 also ard that time and he's also a big baby, the trend might be the same.

hi,

just want to add 1 more food list what cannot eat during bf... glutinous rice. Esp broccori and glutinous rice (eg. ang ku kueh), these 2 really caused my son colic. Also must remember to burb ur baby after every bf. If baby really got colic, must try to remember what the food u eat for the past 24 hr.

i heard that giving bb a massage after shower and before bed with tallon oil helps with preventing buildup of air in the tummy or colic.

I got mine at $369, Full bedding set-- 2 bolester, 1 pillow, 1 comforter, 1 full bumper, 2 bedsheets cover and a foam mattress with holes. Mine is a 4 in 1 cot, can be converted to junior bed.

Tink Mr. Ang offers latex mattress. U may wanna check it out with other mummies.

Great news mspiggy! Happy for you. Hope I get good news on monday during my check up. I think its my last chance for placenta to move up, since I am 36w too.

Bee, I am on ventolin tablets since 31w, doc says to "relax" the uterus and ease my cramps. I find if I don't take the med on time the cramps will come back. By the way what is the side effect of the med? I will be past 36w by the time I see my doc and hear what he says.

LittleAlmond,
Are your cramps better now after taking med? What I experienced is menstral-like cramps, sometimes even got sensation leading to my v, as if something "drop down". Thats why on ventolin as mentioned.

Hi Cheer Bear,

My few cents worth.

When you buy BB cot & Mattress, do consider one with US measurement, if I dun remember wrongly it's abt 29" by 52". Easier to find bedsheet.

I was given 2 BB cot, but both are UK size, I had a hard time searching for bedsheet.
