Hello Mummies,
I also don't understand my MIL's thinking either. When I had my 1st gal, she already said straight into my face that 2nd one (I was still pregnant with #1 then) MUST BE A BOY.
So I'm more or less expecting this reaction from her when gynae said it is another gal for me.
Anyway, I don't care lar. Most impt to me is my both gals are happy and healthy. They no need their grandma's love anyway for she don't help me to take care at all.
Juz Me, don't be stressed by your in-laws.
Gathering : I can't confirm if I can join or not as my elder gal just joined cc. A lot of arrangement need to be done before I can go out haaa.. So I will pending my attendance first.
Mousebb, I also looking for a mini freezer. Do u have a pic of yours to show me? I can't get a too big one 'cos my kitchen quite limited space liao!

Ask hb to go with me again to confirm on stroller, bought Capella S705 liao.. and Avent milk bottles.. hee...

I'm working from home today... having a bad flu and sore throat... can't sleep at all last night... tossing and turning. Had to switch off air con halfway coz felt I can't breathe...
Anyway I just cooked some lotus root soup with slow cooker. Can eat with hubby when he's back from work at 5+pm

Dun be bothered by what others say abt not having boys.
Tell them that having girls are better coz boys have 2.5yrs NS and so parents have to take care of them for extra 2.5yrs. And best is if the 1st child is girl.
My 1st is a boy and 2nd is a girl and they have 2yrs gap, so next time both of them will go uni together, so imagine the huge amount of school fees we gotta fork

4get wat ur mil say la.. my mil oso same kind lor.. keep asking me boy or gal once she know i preg.. then that day after detailed scan go back her hse to eat the moment she saw my hb already ask and mind u we r standing outside the door when waiting for her to open.. then my hb tell her boy then she smile non stop.. sigh.. even chu yi and shi wu she pray at home oso pray that i got preg soon and hv a boy.. sometime cant tahan her but my hb jus ask me to ignore her so dun care wat she say ya

forest, i actually wanted to eat Jack's... but cannot go out too long. Arbo my FIL face black black... I go out he not happy liao. Cos he got to take care my boy.
Whitepaper, ya I am under doc wong! Hahaha! She too look me up... set 15kg target for me cos last rd I gain ard 18 to 19kg for my boy. So she think this rd easy for me... but sad.. no lor. SHe says i opposite.. single baby gain so much.. twins gain so little. But at least i know my babies are growing.

I tot i was alone when my MIL is disappointed that i'm expecting a bb gal. I'm now staying with her and at times, i will buy bb stuff back and she will show a face telling me, there's no place to put the stuff. She even ask me to bring those stuff to my maternal home to put. so angry. If i'm expecting a boy, i bet she wouldnt have said that.
Another incident, she was telling me abt something abt some neighbour the MIL bullying the daughter in law. Then she mentioned that the MIL should dote tat DIL coz she very 'li hai'. Then i was curious why she said tat. She said coz tat DIL gave birth to 3 SONS!!! I was so pissed. I straight away tok back saying, tat DIL not 'li hai' at all. If she 'li hai', she would have given birth to 3 daughters coz girls will protect their mother.

Actually my MIL also stress me de, every week go back for tonic, she sure to ask for bb gender. Even my SIL cant tahan & ask her to stop asking us. I was telling my DH, now got tonic faster drink, if bb gal mayb MIL will say no need to drink so much tonic liao lah...hahaha! Even my DH agreed that might b the case loh...hahaha
