My bestie's hb wants a BOY so bo bian, she had to try 3rd time...luckily she got a boy...was telling her I really peifu her coz how to handle 3 kids when her hb is always not in SIN too lor.

Yalor, I'm happy w 2 coz with work, how to have extra time for more kids lor =P
 


Hi people,
Long time no see !
I was reading the posts and realised that the kids are waiting up at night. Looks like i am not the only one.

Adel has been waking up so frequently at night that it is really driving me NUTS ! He will wake up and make noise several times in a hour and this last for 2-3 hours. By the time he is fast asleep i need to go to work.

I am really stressed about this. What is REALLY happening ??

that day saw a neighbour inside the lift with 3 kids, carry 1 hold 1 shouting another older 1.
dunno if she still remember how she looks like before she gave birth... =(

unless accident (touchwood), else dun think i even in that kinda health condition to have 1 more lor.

i can only sit infront of my system n do refreshing when doing doc, when in lab then very difficult liao.

hang on there, its a stage.
when they older, u want them to stay awake to talk to u also very difficult liao.
#1 used to dun even need to sleep at nite, now u can't even stop her from sleeping when clock strike 10pm lor.
sometime when i'm really boring, i even go and rec both my gals snoring...ha ha... >D

Grassroot got no mac, its a kids playroom that can be booked exclusively for party.

Depend on majority lah.
If stick to mac then no need change date liao ya?

The Grassroot Club children playroom is spacious and quite fun.

2 timing for booking on weekend:
11.00am to 3.00pm or
5.00pm to 9.00pm.

For 4 hour event the room rent rate @ $214 (including GST).

The room can accomodate 80 to 100 pax (buffet style). Can engage in-house caterer (min $10/ pax).

Room rate inclusive 50 unit of chairs, CD player, indoor playground, 5 rectangle table with table cloth.

Aurora, dun mind my queries... I have been to GC, dun think it is 50 chairs and 5 tables leh... and I thought some of our Aug kids may be still a bit young to be climbing in the 2-storey playarea by themselves... but it's fun for older kids though... unless they have more than 1 playroom or had renovated it recently?

Muslim mummies, please note that Ramadan is from 11 August - 9 September 2010... so 14 Aug might not be suitable for them?

For GC, as what aurora said.. ya.. abt 50 chairs.

Very spacious n even 2 yrs old playing happily n very pte as all to ourselves. n hv some coin slot machine there.. but dun need to put coin in types too.


Can consider too.

N even ifnot enough chairs n tables, can sit and stand around as space is good. really nt enough, outside still have sofa n the corridor still hv.

if number of kids is within 30, i have another playroom which is more suitable for our toddlers.
this place can also be booked exclusively, and its more "central".
only problem is they can take up to 30 kids only.

but cos its a club, there are certain rules to follow:

*Club Rules – Dress Code upon entering the Club
a. No Singlets, Tank –Tops and Hot Pants
b. No Japanese Slippers, Flip-Flop and Golf Shoes
c. No Aerobic or Sports Attire (Members &amp; Guests are to change their sports attire
at the respective facilities)
*General Rules – Members &amp; Guests should:
a. Keep the Club clean, neat and tidy
b. User and their guests are not allowed to remove any property/equipment out of
the Club
c. Exhibit good conduct and behavior at the Club at all time

beside like what jen said, the 2-storey playarea might be slightly more challenging for our 2yr old toddlers. =)
another consideration is location abit far for some mummies.
if taking this place, then we might consider 15th aug 12pm-3pm time slot instead? =P
thats why need to finalise a namelist asap, cos time left is short. -_-"

I find the Rule C a bit weird leh. To change to appropriate attire at respective facilities. So to go playground, need sports attire and to go buffet need to change back to normal attire. They think we are all "superman" ah! There lot sufficient telephone booth for us to change or not?

Hehehe... Just a joke on "clubs being too regimental"

Dun think they will be so strict rite? Most Singaporeans walk around in tees, shorts and sandals (or worse, slippers).

I've been the GC and think it is a great place too =) will go with the majority. Only thing is, must cater food again, so it's collecting money and stuff again... hmmm... but the place is big enough to bring spouses , no need to scared of the number of adults limit.

doesn't matter if it is halal cause we not eating anyway as it is ramadan =) and we eat only after 7 pm =)

anyway, the timing 5- 9 pm is a bit late leh ... better it's 11-3 pm.
What about we see if there are any takers for 11-3 on 15 July ?
 
by the way, can we do it before ramadan which is before the 10th ? Cause a bit sad lah, if we cannot eat and miss a big part of the fun. But if it is just me, it's ok. I'll with the majority =)
