J also used to say "blue" for everything he saw. now he can name all the colours correctly. dun worry lah, it's just a phase they go thru.

i think J can only say A, B and C. the rest he will just repeat after me. he's very gd at numbers only...can count 1-10, and a bit of 12, 14, etc. prob coz' we count for him everyday in the lift all the way to 16th floor, haha.

I'm also amazed at how they can continue sleeping when the diaper is changed.. Sometimes in the wrong posture, the pee leaks &amp; wets her PJs. But we can change her diaper, PJs &amp; she can continue sleeping!

its tiring and fun at the same time. Cos i spent 2 full weekends and a sat there so got time to go walk walk and explore. weather is really good. Oh, I meant to tell you that the credit cards' exchange rate is much higher, so it may be good to bring along more cash - euros then singapore dollars. like for now, you can change at a rate 1.72 cash, but my credit card is charging me 1.79. and if you change there, the exchange rate is almost 2...

the air is very good. no pollution. When i was in Sweden, the air was even better, cos there are trees and trees and trees... i think they have more trees then people and their dogs add together... In fact, my company has one million acres of forest there...

And the water in these places, its really very good! its natural spring/mountain water. great taste!

its a lake, right behind my company's manor house which is used as a guest house now. Its beautiful.

i vote for Chanel... heheheee... my friend who is working in europe told me that the cheapest place to buy branded stuff is in Italy and they have very good warehouse sale, i think. can get quite latest design from their warehouse sale. I think you can also look at loewe. think they have quite good and functional designs too.

NYC is happening..i think the entire world population is here! its really crowded and very bustling...i feel like im in CSI show lor...i havent had time to go warehouse yet..but i hear the warehouse sales are very good...i already spent most of my money on make up n stuff...havent even bought bags....!..just one DKNY bag(which is very very very cheap!) cuz the bag i brought with me broke.....so..if ur sis coming...must bring ALOT of money...hhahaha..cuz there;s so many things to buy!

I was just wondering if i am too slow to teach kai cos my maid tried to ask him and he dunno then she turned and told me "Mam, u din teach him that's why". I felt bad.
Anyway, Kai is also talking and repeating what we say. Recently he oso started to say "Can you help me?" in a vv sweet and gently voice ... used to say "Help me".

Kai is not really exposed to A-Z cos I've no time to teach him. Just read with him (mostly the maid) and talk to him.
Now he can count 1 to 10.

cos now i asked maid to teach him everyday ... esp when he had been at home last week and this week.
i wan to ask her to toilet train him but i guess no chance now that he's back to the CC.

good for J to be able to recognise all the colors and talking well.

I think I was concerned about the color part cos I wasn't sure by this stage they should be able to recognise colors.
He can say different colors name but not matched them properly. Call a blue Orange, a red yellow, etc..
I was trying to test to make sure he is not color blind lor ... cos everything blue ... hahhaa. this worried mama.

i agree that with #2, i am really vv relax, din even read to him.
Whatever he learnt so far is the maid's efforts, the school's efforts and his own efforts.
He's more independent so he learns on his own. Mama no time here .. all the free time taken by #1.
so i always feel bad for Kai.

Kai also likes to sing ... his favourite is Humpty Dumpty, Twinkle little star, Rain rain go away ... and a chinese song TAI YANG GONG GONG.
Today maid brought him to wash his hands and he said "XI SHOU" to her ... he's picking his mandarin well

the CC only teaches 1-5 for N1 ... last time i was like ... huh? only 1-5? now i oso dun care. hhaha.
Kai also picking up things from #1, esp when #1 do funny things, Kai will laugh and laugh. He really enjoys his vv funny and full of pattern brother.
My fren oso says to guide #1 well cos #2 will follow suit. maybe tat explains why i have no time for Kai lor ... *excuses.

i think they cannot tell the colours yet now. later at 3yo. i remembered that's what the cc teachers told me. at least my 2 older ones are like that. but my eldest one was quite good at 18mths, he is able to do A-Z and correctly point out the right alphabets... and i only teached him like a few times and he can catch it liao. then come to the 2nd one, can't cos i never teach and now the 3rd one lagi jia lat, just simply throw him one side... ;P

but then again, looking at my eldest one, he is one bloody lazy fellow... can;t focus nowadays and never listen in class - ganna complaint by his teachers to be playful and unattentive and dreaming away... results slightly below average leh... teacher said he is smart but don;t want to study...
