If the your HB got the flu from your gal and den you get from your hb, chances are she may not get it liao... She's probably immune to that strain of virus. But den, you still need to be extra careful. Flu virus got thousand and one kind. In our lifespan, probably be getting less den that lor. Only the potent ones like bird flu and swine flu are the scary for now.. Hope there's a vaccine to them soon.
Guardian pharmacy got offer for J&J baby wipes. 3 packs at $9.50.

Those reading my blog will know that for the last 2 days, I've been giving my gals lily bulbs for lunch and Barley for yesterday's dinner.
Understand that some mommies have given their little ones bread as young as 4 months. I'm only starting them on bread today. I made my own so that I know actually wat they are getting from the bread.
Made Sausage roll and luncheon meat bun for adults. The gals are only getting plain with sesame toppings (of cos not giving sesame to them lah!) Here's a pic of the bread fresh from the oven. Will post details on my blog later tonite.

If you stay near me, can still cook some for Elisha. But for now, you got to take good care of him leh! Poor boy! hope the cough doesn't get bad for him.. otherwise if he coughs too much, the incision of his wound may tear. Remember to use the pillow method that I told you to help him leh..

if i bring my maid out she will pack the bag excpt for the extra clothes cos she wont know what i want. but if i am not bringing the maid then she will only prepare the milk and water for me. rest of it i still pack myself. when we are out, if she is there she will make the milk, but sometimes i will do it too. cos when it comes to food with bernice i dont want to take chances with the maid cos end of the day the child is not theirs and you dont know what's in the mind or they could just be muddleheaded.. like my maid sure muddleheaded. last week during the GAP sale at isetan, she packed the bag and forgot the wetwipes. somemore before we left i asked her to check and she said she check le. today ask her make milk for me before i leave the house she made it immediately after i finished the sentence. i then asked her didnt u hear what i said, she say she made it more hot. then i asked her repeat my instructions, she said she heard me say make milk and pack milk powder. then i say if that was what you heard, why you tell me you make more hot for me to feed in the car. she is just trying to cover up her mistake. therefore most of the time i rather not bring her out cos she needs to be told each every step along the way and she already worked 1 year. i know many will say just change her. sigh.. we decided we'll just let her contract finish then send her back. meanwhile just have to remind myself her job is to do housework. and avoid making my life difficult.

Actually.. PD still told me to watch my diet.. so it's still restricted! Haha..
In view of his sensitive skin, my dire need for seafood, peanut butter, wine and sambal balachan.. as well as the upcoming Melb & Tasmania trip in late Sept, I might begin to wean him off the boob next month, when he is 10 months. Am sure I'm going to face major resistence and dramatic withdrawal symtoms from D.. but I'm really praying that we'll pull through it together! Yikes!!! Definitely not looking forward to it.
Hee.. ya.. we were very surprised that he weighs only 10kg!! We really thought that he had gained more than that cos he is super heavy!!

just a suggestion..would it help if you write down a checklist of things on a paper and ask her to refer to the checklist everytime u guys are going out? i.e cardigan x 1, hanky X 2, wet tissues, diaper X 5....if she can still forget or miss out something then she is really one BIG sotong..;p

Well.. one of our main reasons for checking Tasmania out is because of their amazingly fresh and gorgeous seafood!! And.. if I'm still nursing by then.. how to indulge?! Erm.. not to mention the wines too!! Haha..
If his skin weren't so sensitive, I'd prob continue because of its convenience.
And.. I also think D is getting too hooked on my boobs. He needs my boob to be comforted and to sleep.. so it's really quite intense on some days - like needs to suckle every 2 hours or so!! So.. I guess.. better to try and wean off now.. than later?
