today.. got a ? in my brain..

can i know mummies here, do you want your child to be a genius? above normal or average child? i have been pondering about this during weekend cos my insurance agent told me she has been doing volunteer work for her 0 years old ger in primary school already.. this amaze me and i am thinking do i want the same thing? will it be too stressful for the child to get into this top school or jux a normal neighbourhood school will do.. do i want him to have a happy or stressful child hood? is it really necessary for them to get into top school to be succesful in future or is it that their parents are kiasu...

feifei.. thought my Q too serious tt no one want to discuss.. ha ha.. i too believe in a educative learning environment.. i believe more on ethical teaching oso.. if not clever smart can oso end up to be gangster or use their intelligent and go do bad things..
i saw one of my friend son.. very clever.. always top.. but very chiam..even on bus his mum is asking him to do revision and i can see he is very unhappy.. it's a very stressful childhood.. i am one who enjoy my childhood a lot.. climbing hill, play marble, run about the village.. etc.. so i would like my boi to hv a happy childhood oso...

That is alot wor. Lil ZuEn oni drinks 120ml per feed (about 2 to 3 hourly). Now, she sometimes cannot even finsihed her milk bcos she got distracted. I had a hard time bluffing her to drink her milk yday when we were outside. Faint.
5 scopes of FM = 150ml wor. Wah.. envy..
Ya lor, MIL wanted to feed her alot of ice cream. Actually oso my fault cos I fed her ice cream before and my MIL saw. But I let her lick a little bit only. Bad mummy. ;p

I might be interested, but my bb starting to recognise people. I scare she cry wor. Like the Xia Hwa swimming. We still go 2 sessions but never go cos she always cry until like kena abuse. Sob. Waste $$. I ask hb 1st. Later go liao, bb cry = waste $$.

I oso about 100ml every 3 hourly niah. When I tried stretching my express, I got super heavy breasts and engorgement. Now dun have liao. My last pump was 6am this morning. Just now I pump, barely 150ml niah. Dropping, dropping. But I wanted to stop intentionally lah.
Dun fret too much, we tried our best already.

ioio, for me, dun need top school cos no gurantee anyway, but i'd choose a school based on other parents' feedback/ enrichment programs/ activities/ school results, some neighbourhood schools r good in these as well. school does affect a child's development but doesn't mean top school will produce a genius who will excel in studies & become a high-flyer next time...too many contributing factors
