koori, thanks for posting about Friso's product safety!

diva, initially i have the same worry as you, worried the design is too vibrant and messy-looking.. But after seeing it i really love it, and bb loves looking at the pics on her tummy too

by the way i have the LG prime yellow bear and Parklon pooh & friends (thsi one has plain parquet design at the back, putting it at my mum's house so tot it might be better, end up my mum also use the cartoon side).

I find LG surface more reflective and smoother but then becos of the embossing it is less 'even' compared to the Parklon. And also i find LG softer although both BP organisers state that LG is firmer. Wonder why leh, dunno if it's because my LG is 15mm while the Parklon is 12mm hence the diff? and some mummies commented that the Parlon creases are hard to go off. mine's about a month old and laid flat everyday, creases are much less significant already. think should be able to completely go off in another couple of months..

in short, both playmats are wonderful investments, and sure to get lots of use

My baby boy is now consuming Nan 3.We have been providing him Nan formula since he was born in last year Oct.We're eager to find out where these milk powder were produce from?
Can you assure that this product is not contaminated with melamine.
Yr quick respond to this is very much appreciate.

Yellow Bear is cute and colorful but Pooh Wonderland looks very classic. My son has a Pooh mobile that he adores and always laughs and giggles at, so I wanted to give him a Pooh playmat as well..

just bought frisocrem yesterday on offer at $4.90 at NTUC. gave my girl 2 heaped teaspoons (after adding water it seemed like a lot of cereal leh..)today, she seemed ok with the FM in it. thank goodness! at least it's better than adding plain water to rice cereal lor..

i'm also not sure how much cereal is supposed to be a meal. cos after taking today's cereal she drank less at her immediate next feed..

can ask mummies, anyone saw dumex nutrakids rice cereal in supermarkets before? my PD gave me sample packs but i can't find it in any supermarket leh

Don't bank on this but I think I might have seen it at either Giant, Fairprice Finest or Cold Storage. I live very near to those 3 supermarkets so I frequent them very often, and I do remember coming across Dumex Nutrakids before.

Glad to hear that your daughter is taking to Frisocream well

Amazing that 2 tsp is enough for her, my son will scream at me if I give him that little!
He can take 5 tbsp cereal + 5 scoops FM in one sitting! That constitutes his meal and doesn't require another feed till 3 hours or so later.

btw for mummies giving babies nestle NAN milk, do your babies have any allergies after trying out first 3 days? My boy has a few rashes like small pimples but I am not sure if it is due to that. He is taking Nestle brown rice cereal well though. hmm

anyway for mummies who wanna collect samples from Nestle, ya u have to go all the way to changi bizpark to collect and parking is free for the 1st 10 mins but usually will exceed one! so far.

diva, wow 5 tbsp cereal + 5 scoops FM in one sitting must be a bowl of cereal already!

i find 2 tsp of dry cereal is already a lot cos after adding water it becomes so much more leh. maybe cos my girl is still taking it quite watery? how much water are you adding to your 5 thsp of dry cereal and 5 scoops of FM? 5 scoops of FM usually makes a big botle of feed already right?

My son has been on Nan since his birth without any allergic reaction.
Where are your son's rashes? If it's a reaction to the formula, then it should be all over the body. And it should not subside while he's still on the formula. This is my opinion.
Do seek advice from your PD

5 scoops of FM makes 150ml, but my son takes 6 scoops/180ml per milk feed

My son is a hearty and fast eater, I'm apparently too slow so hubby and I tag-team feed him for speed!
I don't know exactly how much water I'm adding to the dry mixture, I simply add enough to get the right consistency.
Hubby and I are discussing this now cuz we're not sure whether to:
1) add milk to cereal
2) add water to cereal+FM
The former means more water while the latter, less.
I give him water between spoonfuls of cereal but am worried it isn't enough. Headache headache!

How many milk feeds a day?
